    Mixed feelings after completing the game.. Web-zipping is the best part of the game. Story is ok. Fighting is the worst part of game. Why the hell spider-man needs to punch average man 10 times until knock him down ? You don't feel like a super hero, you feel like a ****

Seriously, in order to upgrade your character you are forced to do these mindless "go here activate this" and repeat this to receive "tokens"...Who wants to do chores to "play" a PS4 game?

    The graphics are nice but the game has no history, no gameplay, everything is like Batman but Batman was 2 years ago, so there is not innovation in this game. it is not trash but I could not finish it, I was so bored to repeat the same mission over and over and over. It is not must buy, just buy for 20 dollars and then it makes sense.

    The good thing about the game is the outstanding gameplay during the games actions sequences, which there are plenty of. Though its implementation of an open world is very poor and is lacking of enjoyable content. The map is riddled with side activates but unfortunately these are way to repetitive and simply not fun to do.     There is also something about the pace and the setting of the game that feels a little bit off. It feels like you are jumping from gameplay area to gameplay area without it feeling coherent enough which ruins the immersion. And the world itself, even though it’s pretty, feels un-interactive and bland.

    In the end this game suffers from a common flaw in games nowadays, it is way too shallow. The story is ok and the action is great but that’s not enough for me to praise the game with a higher score.    … Expand

    I love this game one day. Then i hate it the next. One day i could play it for hours unbored. The next i get bored on the loading screen. This is the most undecided i've ever been on a game

    Короче говоря: Паук - Отстой. Жаль потраченные деньги и время. Реально заставлял себя проходить просто потому что было жаль потраченные бабки. Плюсы: 1. Графон - реально крутой. В динамичных сценах или при недостаточном освещении картинка близка к фотореалистичной. 2, Битва с двумя боссами:    Смотрю на высокие оценки, вспоминаю хвалебные отзывы блогеров об этой игре и недоумеваю.

    Плюсы:
    1. Графон - реально крутой. В динамичных сценах или при недостаточном освещении картинка близка к фотореалистичной.
    2, Битва с двумя боссами: Носорогом и Скорпионом реально рассмешила до слёз. То как они пререкались друг с другом - было шикарно).
    На этом плюсы для меня закончились.
    Теперь о минусах:
    1. Тупой стелс - противники словно с повязкой на глазах в упор не видят тебя. Забывают о твоём существовании через минуту после обнаружения. Никого не смущает что рядом в паутине висит живой товарищ, никто не пытается его освободить.
    2. Бои - однообразные, ничем не примечательные. Проходил игру на стандартном уровне сложности, ничего не улушал из гаджетов, так как в этом небыло необходимости вообще.
    3. Боссы - лёгкие, скучные. А последняя битва с главным антагонистом доводила до бешенства своей кривотой: Порой невидно где что находится, маленькая локация из которой постоянно вылетаешь. А финальный QTE - отдельное убожество анимацию которого приходится повторять около 6 раз. Выглядит это крайне нелепо.
    4. Локализация- первое что нереально накалило: отсутствие выбора озвучки. Терпеть не могу наши локализации из-за их недокачества. Челопук не стал исключением. Игра актёров озвучки оставляет желать лучшего.
    5. Мини-игры - чуть не забыл об этой помойке. На протяжении всей игры нас заставляют проходить тупейшие мини-игры аля детские головоломки из еженедельной газеты. Хорошо хоть пропустить их можно спустя какое-то время. Я сел играть в экшн-игру а не ребусы газетные решать.

    После прохождения основного сюжета, я принялся проходить DLC. Но моего терпения хватило только на 10% прохождения первого DLC.    … Expand

    The Ending of the game and the boring story and side missions make you irritated sometimes.
    In this game I felt like I was out of Marvel , and this is not connected even a little bit with comics.
    The boss fight of shocker was frustating for me and the fight with DR.Octavious oh my god it is the worst. The side of peter needs to interesting rather than Boring.

    Juego que aburre en menos de media hora, mundo abierto sin vida y lleno de bugs. Puede ser visualmente impresionante pero cuando levantas la alfombra puedes ver que no es oro todo lo que reluce, y ademas con 3 dlc que han van a sacar acoste de recortar contenido. Asi Sony no,asi no.

Да, я тоже Sony boy, но не потерял способность рационально оценивать игры, а не лепить 10 напаво и налево. Прошел паука, ну собственно есть недостатки, и их много.

    Gameplay is extremely fluid, looks beautiful and the comhat is very enjoyable. Unfortunately it got boring and repetitive. The story didn't pull me in and the side missions just didn't match the quality of the actual gameplay itself. Tons of potential though through DLC but as a base game it lacks story and side missions.     5 cuz it was fun at begining then some dead missions and geyss what those dead mission became repitive missions side ones, catching pigeons!!, outposts **** **** effect i geuss i kept goin for the love of spidey so i hope insomniac could see this and not do it again in this way please let **** to **** dnt be like them you can be better, so be better *kratos voice*

Only thing improved would be the adaptation of the Batman Arkham Asylum fighting system. The story is ok at best. Camera work is still an issue when swinging from location to location. Walking is almost preferred. Graphics areDecent game but has a been there, done that feel to it. After a short time it gets very repetitive.     Well you surely will get tendinitis pressing square for the millionth time and the crazy amount of people you'll have to fight in this game. Why can't it be more relaxed and why didn't they have the option to increase you speed. This to me is a game with the same or similar physics and mechanics of Spider-man 2 for the ps2. Honesty its not a bad game but its like uncharted 4 where most of the game is intense and combat oriented and really doesn't explore too much on other aspects. I mean I understand the developers wanted to do things differently and they do but its very frustrating when the only way to increase your health is to keep fighting lol. Seriously like I know Spiderman heals up when he keeps moving and fighting but it doesn't make it enjoyable in the slightest.… Expand

Хорошие побочки должны или обучать новым механикам, или позволять узнать больше о героях, или расширить вселенную игры или показать новых интересных персонажей или дать хотя бы каких-то сложных боссов. Идеальный пример побочек - God of War. Там во время выполнения доп миссий мы больше узнаем главных персонажей через диалоги, мы познаем разные уголкиПобочные задания - курам на смех! Идеальный пример побочек - God of War. Там во время выполнения доп миссий мы больше узнаем главных персонажей через диалоги, мы познаем разные уголки классно проработанного мира, мы узнаем про события которые происходили в этой вселенной, сражаемся с разными интересными врагами (в игру можно играть только ради сражения с Королевой Валькирий). А что в Человека Пауке? Нам надо разблокировать вышки, собирать рюкзаки разбросанные по городу и фотографировать здания. Я понимаю что задумывалось что мы так должны исследовать город. Но беда в том, что ВЕСЬ ГОРОД ОДИНАКОВЫЙ!!! Это один и тот же город!!! В этих локациях нет ничего уникального и красивого. Мне не интересно исследовать этот мир!!!! Что бы вы выбрали: освободить дракона в красивой уникальной локации или бегать по однообразному городу и фотографировать фигурки кошечек ? ни один нормальный человек не выберет второе!!!

    Все так хвалили боевую систему в Человеке Пауке. Да она выглядит весело. Первые минут 30. Тебе в бою не нужно думать ни о чем! Не нужны уникальные тактики для разного типа противников. Просто надо нажимать “квадратик”, “треугольник” и “кружок”. В любой последовательности! Не важно в какой! Вы все равно выиграете. А если вдруг нет - вам не захочется второй раз проходить тот же самый уровень. Потому что там с самого начала придется нажимать поочередно на “квадратик”, “треугольник” и “кружок”. Я развлекал себя как мог. Ловил ракеты паутиной, бросал предметы в противников, использовал все возможные гаджеты. Но спустя 10 использований любой из этих механик они надоедали! Потому что игре все равно как ты будешь играть! В God of War можно было подобрать уникальный набор умений для каждого противника. И подстраивать свой стиль игры под новый билд. И каждый раз игра чувствовалась по-новому. А тут… просто грустно.

    Босс файты в человеке пауке даже нельзя назвать босс файтами. Боссы в crash bandicoot и то более впечатляют. 25 часов игры в ЧП. Финальный босс. Думаю “ну наконец-то будет шанс использовать все навыки, полученные за последнюю неделю игры”. Пфф… Если бы. Все что нужно уметь что бы победить босса - стрелять паутиной (научились этому в первые 5 минут игры) и бросать предметы паутиной (научились примерно тогда же).    … Expand

    With a few exceptions, the characters were absolutely pale and interchangeable, especially the villains.
    And at some point I just couldn't stand Peter's constantly repeating "jokes" again. I know you can't really blame the devs for that, as Peter is probably just as annoying in the comics and they just kept his personality true to the original.

    As mentioned, the open world is visually very nicely designed. In terms of content, however, it is a disaster. You keep repeating the same repetitive quests. Either you have to stop criminals or you have to help Greenpeace. Yeah, I got the message, everyone can be a hero. But that's no excuse for letting us do such boring and ridiculous quests where we have to vaccinate pigeons and fish or have to clean the nearest chimney.

    The wasted potential makes me a little sad. As a consolation: The standalone add-on Miles Morales was way better.    … Expand

The fluid animations allow for smooth, malleable combos, chaining wide varieties of attacks together, as the webs allow your surroundings to become an active element of combat thanks to deeply rewarding environmental interactions. Regrettably, the game's various gadgets and power-ups unlocked throughout the adventure are mere extensions of already-established powers or provide extremely minor changes to combat's flow. Because of this, as great as it is, combat is stagnant and starts to feel repetitive towards the end of the campaign. The game world does an amazing job at recontextualizing the iconic characters and villains, establishing a new spider-man universe through both the main story and optional content: collectibles and side-quest might feel redundant at times, but do a great job at exploring the background of this peter parker and delineate this world's history, just as the crimes throughout the city, although a little repetitive and overly present, immerse the player in the role of super-hero. The story stays beautifully true to the spirit of the character, merging peter parker and spider-man's lives to craft an emotional story about hope and selflessness that involves both worlds and their intertwining struggles, with the player often taking control of the non-human characters to expand on the setting and immerse the player in the narrative. Alas, from a gameplay standpoint these segments are tremendously bland and simplistic, interrupting the experience's flow with abysmally tedious stealth sections. They are the game's weakest parts alongside boss fights: easy, repetitive and formulaic, only the last ones become decently layered and challenging enough to be engaging.    … Expand

    You're probably here for the movement: the main draw to a 'Spider-Man' game will always be the ability to swing from rooftop to rooftop, and this really does make the most of that with how drawn out its missions are, how much they make you use it, and how much it overshadows pretty much everything else about the game. Other times you'll be busy fighting you're 90th horde of Saber officers, or escaped prisoners and realise that the gameplay is getting stale, but you're only halfway through the story mode. This is not a bad game, but at its best its a Spider-Man open game sim which shows what could be so much more in the future.… Expand

    Average all around the board. Not bad but nothing special. If you enjoy Spider-Man I’m sure you’ll enjoy the game. If you’re not a fan of Spider-Man then there’s not much of a point to play this game.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. its too short has pretty poor writing and only like 3 of the outfits are good such as the black cat one over all i just didn't care much about the game the best parts are the black cat and the harry side stuff the main story on the other hand is pretty bad

    Gameplay wise its just a boring/easy button masher like games like god of war and those overrated Batman arkham games, webswinging and wall climbing can be pretty bad at times as well, pretty much try to stay away from the sides of buildings as its pretty janky.

    Character wise there okay aside from aunt May that is, she's so **** dumb and i'm glad she died nothing to really say about other characters tho there all pretty much fine nothing good or bad about them really.

    Story wise it's too short and none of the stories connect with each other and the side missions are better then the main plot which was pretty awkward to play in a post covid world.    … Expand

    Horrible.. horrible grindfest of a game. Catch all the pigeons to.. get nothing in return. Take a picture of 30 buildings! Activate 20 communication towers! Clear out 20 bases that have around 5 waves x 15 of stupid "bad guys" each! Beat 20 almost identical challenges! Complete 2.000.000 of "puzzles" for the mentally challenged 3-year olds! Exciting!
    Not. F*cking hell.. At first I gave this game a 5, but have lowered the score while I was writing this "200 word essay". I wonder if the score is low enough..
    I have made a mistake by buying this pile of sh*t. If You are a S-M fan - it will be a 6-7 game, otherwise - skip this cheap cashgrab.    … Expand

    There are myriad good reasons why Marvel's Spider-Man is the best-selling and highest-rated Spider-Man title in years. While it has a few glaring flaws, they pale in comparison to all of the things the team at Insomniac got right. A well-acted, strong story serves as the backbone for an experience that just plain feels right for Spider-Man, and fans and newcomers alike won't be disappointed by this trip to the Spider-verse.

    This game does for Spider-Man what the Arkham series did for Batman. Immensely satisfying movement system, excellent combat, fast pace, superb visuals and wealth of side activities converge to bring a wonderful experienced, diluted only by some minor missteps in the story and a couple of stealth sequences where you control supporting characters instead of Spidey.
