    Great story, tremendous gameplay. While Insomniac has created a delightful dish to hold us over until their next full Spidey game experience, it doesn't quite live up to what they did with the first game. That being said, the big-@$$ grin never left my face for a second. Absolutely worth the $50. Will definitely play again when I get a PS5, for which this game comes with a free upgrade!

    In my whole gaming life, i have never experienced a game with so many bugs. Feels like they had to deliver the game no matter what. Story is weak and short.

Jesus either have the old or new face in all versions and stop breaking immersion. Person behind the mask is everything. I absolutely love these spider man games.     Although the story is lacking when compared it's classic predecessor, just about everything else here is an improvement from the last game. Swinging (the best improvement), combat, side quests and open world activities are all an upgrade. Also, EZ platinum that doesn't take too long to get.

    This spin off by Insomniac is a great start to the PS5 era. Beautiful visuals, good (but short) story, gameplay feels improved and the score is top notch. Must buy for a PlayStation owner.

    GOTY!!!! I freaking love Spider-Man and this was such a perfect game to hold me off until Spider-Man. 2 I’ve been such a huge miles morales comic and Spider-Man ultimate fan and this game brought it all to life. I love it thank you insomniac!

    Muy buen juego, aun conservando la mayoría de las cosas del Spiderman de PS4, se siente como otro juego!. Y ahora con la incorporación del RT el juego luce auténticamente NEXT-GEN!, sigue siendo un poco repetitivo por la entrega anterior pero este lo sabe aprovechar muy bien metiendo variedad de misiones...Sin duda, un titulo para jugar por lo menos 1 vez!

Best example is scene where DockOck shows his mechanical arms, old face Peter showed emotion of excitement and wory at the same time, new face acts all smiling and confused, without any expression or emotion, like whatever or what the hell am i doing here lol. My greatest regret is that i buyed OG Spider Man and PS4 last year, that i got attached to old face. You just don't have time to think even a second how to do your combat. Combat include dozens of combos with special key patterns, but because the game is incredibly short (I say it again - incredibly short), by the time you remember and know how to use those, its finished already.
    It seems that Sony believes they can sell anything for 60 - last of us 2 has many hours gameplay and costs 60, Spiderman has only few hours gameplay (not even 10) and also sells for 60. Next time release a 10 minute game or a demo and put a 60 tag, because why not, as long there are people who pays. Pathetic.    … Expand

    The last major game on ps4 how it's been that long . Even this was a short game I did enjoy my time with it. Miles combat I'm the game soo good . I'm glad they did just copy from Peter Parker combat . The new suits are pretty good the holiday outfit, 2099,2020 and the prowler color looks good. The story i fought was okay not bad . Great game play, good story even being too short in my opinion that being the main problem of the game for the price of the game that is too short Compared to the Spider-Man ps4 . The game still have a lot of bugs that obviously will be fixed but keep an eye on that.     Ok beyond them changed Peter's face (which is unforgivable... wtf where they thinking!). It's an ok game after playing the 2018 one. I did expect more from Miles story... It didn't grab me like the 2018 did.... idk I'm just all around disappointed.

    El juego y su historia me ha gustado, pero no puedo poner a este juego una buena nota con tanto bug y con lo poco que dura. Esto no es un juego, es un dlc. Y es que lo que no entiendo es porque no lo han hecho en otra localización?. Ahhh espera,que asi se han ahorrado todo el trabajo de los escenarios . Espero que pronto saquen un nuevo spiderman y que sea todo hecho desde cero

Cuando anunciaron Spiderman: Miles Morales me emociono conocer un poco mas sobre su historia en el juego y lo que podría venir en el futuro para la franquicia, y aun a pesar de las criticas que tiene elTuve la suerte de poder jugar Spiderman para play 4 después de esperar para comprar mi play 4, es un excelente juego, de los mejores exclusivos para Playstation 4, el mejor a mi parecer. Cuando anunciaron Spiderman: Miles Morales me emociono conocer un poco mas sobre su historia en el juego y lo que podría venir en el futuro para la franquicia, y aun a pesar de las criticas que tiene el juego por bugs (cabe mencionar que a mi solo una vez me sucedió un error) me parece una excelente juego en todos sus apartados, muy divertido y una historia bastante entretenida, aunque algo predecible y rusheada, la banda sonora en su mayoría remixes hip hoperos del primero pero que quedan bastante bien y alguna que otra canción licenciada. La duración del juego es donde mas afecta, ya que si solo te dedicas a pasar la campaña principal te llevara alrededor de 6 a 7 horas. Otra de las desventajas que tiene el juego es lo "repetitivo" en cuanto al gameplay con su antecesor, no hay mucha innovación, solo algunos añadidos en los poderes de Miles y alguna que otra misión que hace provecho de esto, pero de ahí en fuera todo lo demás es igual, eso si, las misiones secundarias son variadas y por lo menos llegan a tener mas historia o relevancia que en el juego anterior. Miles Morales es una gran aventura, que si bien para mi es un DLC glorificado del primer juego, pero que como al igual que con Halo 3:ODST, se convierte en uno de mis DLC glorificados favorito, jueguenlo, pero esperen a que baje a 40 dolares mínimo.… Expand

    I just got a PS4 and the first game I played was Spiderman Miles Morales. I am a huge Spiderman fan and this game finally brought him justice in the video game world since Spider Man 2. This is my favourite game of all time and the graphics are stunning even on a PS4. Definitely worth the 60 bucks.

    Va muy bien en la PS4; aun sin tener RT, la iluminación y los reflejos se ve muy bien. El acabado de la ciudad y belleza de la ciudad unido a un desarrollo fluido y ágil que NO envidia nada a la Versión de PC o PS5

    If you still haven't had your fill of Marvel's Spider-Man after completing it and all of its DLC, Miles Morales is here to provide a healthy second helping. The team at Insomniac did their best to try and make this feel like something entirely new through changing the season in the city to give it a different look, some tweaks to the UI, a host of redesigned animations, and of course theIf you still haven't had your fill of Marvel's Spider-Man after completing it and all of its DLC, Miles Morales is here to provide a healthy second helping. The team at Insomniac did their best to try and make this feel like something entirely new through changing the season in the city to give it a different look, some tweaks to the UI, a host of redesigned animations, and of course the title hero's unique powers. These are mostly just visual distinctions however, and do little to hide the fact that this is really only more of the same. That's far from a bad thing as outside of the occasional bugs and glitches, which are still present here, it's predecessor featured the most polished mix of open-world web-slinging and combat the wall-crawler has seen to date, with the biggest knock I had against it being that it felt like another dose of the familiar and expected rather than something at all innovative. Naturally that's the case for this spin-off sequel as well, but to a slightly higher degree.

    A few fairly significant changes were implemented to help differentiate the two Spider-Men and attempt to make the experience a bit smoother in the process, but they prove unable to shake up the loop of swinging across Manhattan, completing side content in-between the well-written main story missions, and engaging in Batman: Arkham-style fights against thugs enough to where it feels any different. Plus, whether they're an actual improvement or not is also debatable. For example, the ability to access a portion of the optional quests on the character's phone comes off as kind of superfluous when you consider that the rest of them still require you to pause and find their icon on the map. Although it does at least allow you to access the random crimes whenever, as opposed to simply hoping the one you want pops up while exploring. Then there's Miles' special camouflage and, quite frankly, odd bioelectric abilities to consider. They're certainly fun to use, yet are overpowered to the point that they cause a game that was already relatively lacking in difficulty to be that much easier. The latter of them going so far as to reach borderline "Story-Breaking Power" levels with how it's used in the plot. Not to mention the way it relies on the Focus Meter to charge means that those instant finisher attacks have shifted to being earned via building up small combos in battle, almost allowing you to spam them.

    While basically any semblance of challenge has been thrown out the window, it doesn't end up reducing the most well-established Spidey formula into a state that's necessarily any less enjoyable than it was back in 2018, or its inception in 2004. I continued to get a kick out of this modernized return to the PS2 era thrills I loved growing up. It, alongside the overall sense of déjà vu, simply results in the narrative once again taking center stage as the freshest part of the package. Things get a little absurd even by comic book standards near the end, but this offers a nonetheless gripping tale about a young man stepping out of his forerunner/mentor's shadow and carving his own path behind the mask, while fighting a villain he too has a strong emotional connection with. As someone previously unacquainted with this iteration of the webhead, it did a lot to give me respect for him. While he'll never top Peter Parker in my eyes, it's not hard to see why he garnered a much larger following than Miguel O'Hara, Ben Reilly, or any of the other clones and multiverse counterparts ever have, and not solely because of the charming way he often winds up facing the wrong direction after flipping through the air due to learning on the job.

    If the previous outing was like eating a meal you hadn't tasted in a long time, this is the equivalent of reheating those leftovers the very next day with a little hot sauce on top. Yeah, it didn't magically stop being delicious and the added condiment lends it a little kick, but you can't escape the thought in your head saying "man, I just ate this yesterday." It shows the developers have their work cut out for them if they don't want the announced third installment to suffer from diminishing returns. In the meantime this will do. Miles Morales continues to get the basics right to keep things entertaining, while granting the opportunity for an alternative version of J. Jonah Jameson's (least) favorite menace to society to shine. Regardless if your heart will always belong to the O.G. or not, this is another worthy superhero adventure and may grant you with some deserved appreciation for the new guy.    … Expand

    Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales is a nice introduction to another Spider-Man. Giving Miles his own story after being introduced in the first game feels like a natural next step. Miles controls very similar to Peter, but also has some unique (and quite awesome) skills of his own. A very personal story allows for him to really shine. I only wish the game was a little longer.

    I don’t care what anyone says… Miles morales is a 6 hour long expansion to 2018’s spiderman, theres nothing wrong with that.. but that’s what it is and feels as such.. more of the same, though this time you play through the very rushed story of Miles Morales, who is left with New York city in his hands to take care of while the og spiderman goes to hangout with his boo. Obviously there are tons of collectables and pretty okay sidequests to do around this 6 hour long story, but since it feels like more of the same.. I didn’t care too much to do what felt like, heres more content patched into that game you really loved 2 years ago… though to mix things up, miles morales feels more like batman mixed with spiderman, and I love that, my favorite moments of the arkham games is lurking in the shadows and just snatching fools up, and its just as satisfying here to clear a room without engaging in combat.. and I was mostly pushed towards that because sadly the combat just isn’t satisfying here, don’t get me wrong, it stylish and flashing, you feel like a true hero when you pull off perfect combos, and you alredy know the swagger is exaggerated, but the enemies feel like sponges stopping miles mroales from feeling as satisfying as it could.. which again kept me away from doing too much side activites, im either going to be suffering through the spongey combat, or im going to be doing some dragged out puzzle of connecting electricity with my web…
    Miles Morales is definitely a great game, with great characters, its beautiful, the music is amazing, and it tells a really touching story, but this is really just a really well put together expansion… no matter what anyone says.
    but with that being said, it’s a great expansion to an amazing game, one with mechanics that feel smooth, the most fun open world outside of an assassins creed game
    And with its own platinfum trophy and the $20 discount, I guess that’s okay.

    Amazing game. The story is phenomenal. I can’t help think that they are naughty dogs successors.

    Emotional, and at the same time so fulfilling!

    The only thing that really drags the game down is the bugs. About half way through the game, some of the audio simply disappeared. After checking google, and using hours on the subject I simply had to turn on subtitles and live with the sound issue.

    Anyone could've expected this much, but this game is lackluster in every other area. There are basically two main bosses, only one of which is truly recognizable in the Spider-Man franchise. The story is fairly predictable and relies on the same tropes and character motivations we've seen ad nauseam. You'll get a substantial amount of wokeness in the story and dialogue, with many of the obvious cliches. The voice actor for Miles is absolutely cringey, just whiny and annoying the entire time. Every mission is almost exactly the same with the same exact enemy waves and very little variation. Side missions are mostly recycled from the last game, and some of the newer ones will have you doing random chores like rescuing people's cats. This is mostly filler content thrown in to make us feel like we got our money's worth. Many of the same glitches have carried over from the last game.
    Overall it's not that bad for a DLC, but it's a huge disappointment for a full retail release.    … Expand

    The developers listened. Venom mode is awesome. No lame levels that make you be someone who is not Spider-man. The city is very well done. I like that it is winter in NYC. I'm not a fan of the Miles Morales story line. But they did a good job.

However, because you have time with the knowledge, the final confrontation (and even the fateful resolution) don't hit as hard as the conclusion of the Peter Parker/Doc Ock tangle.

    В ней всего меньше. Всего три босса, а в предшественнице их было аж 10 штук, даже 12 если считать поимённо. Время прохождение снизилось с 25 часов в оригинале до 9. Прокачка проще, костюмов меньше. Сюжет короче.
    У Майлса появились биоэлектрические способности, на них собственно большинство геймплея и основано. Так же нововведением можно считать временную невидимость персонажа, но я ей как то не особо часто пользовался.
    Геймплей и графика на PS4, не изменились никак от слова совсем.
    Но зато Miles Morales вносит все недостающие оригиналу феминистические и BLM ценности. Практически все главные герои чернокожие. Главная протагонистка это 17летняя крутая девчонка, которая руководит целым батальоном бесхребетных мужучков. Даже не знаю, как лгбт хрени не насували в игру?
    Ещё одно очень странное решение разработчиков, но в игре нельзя выбить платину с одного прохождения. Несколько ачивок выдаются только в "новой игре +". Что очень странно для такой короткой и линейной игры. Обычно данные достижения выдаются в длс.
    В общем, лично для меня, игра не несёт никакой ценности как отдельное произведение. Продавать её за цену ААА проекта конечно было нельзя. $35 её законная цена. Эта игра сопоставима с такими произведениями как: Dishonored 2: Deаth of the Outsider, Wolfenstein: The Old Blood, Uncharted: The Lost Legacy и т. д. И цена должна быть соответствующая, но ни как ни $60.

    I gave Peter's Spider-Man 9/10, and Miles' 8 because the story is just not as moving as Peter's. Miles is an interesting character but I understand that it's difficult to achieve Peter's chracter depth without giving off a similar vibe or longer story. Also $60 is worth it if you are a hard core Spider-Man fan or own a PS5 - otherwise don't bother until it's on discount.

The sound and music are exceptional, especially when you consider the licensed tracks that have been woven in. And the voice acting is second to none! So just more of the same right? Not really.

    The big reason for anyone to pick this up is to walk in the shoes (or swing with the webs) of Miles. With the added powers of electricity and invisibility, he plays just differently enough to create a new experience. The journey he takes in particular is a very different one to what we had seen with Peter. Where the last game was full of villains, characters, marvel easter eggs and just more content in general. Miles Morales really feels a little more intimate in regards to content and story. I really enjoyed seeing Miles grow throughout the story which centres around he's relationship with an old friend. Not to mention some of the big scale cinematic sections that are a blast to play!

    Yes, this might very well be a glorified standalone DLC. But for what you get and the quality, it released for the right price. It's a must for any Spidey fan or fans of the first game.    … Expand

    However, the reason this game isn't a 10 to me is due to the fact that the story beats can become slightly predictable at times in terms of the antagonist and their motivations but this does not take away from the enjoyment, just the impact.

    All in all don't wait for PS5 if you are eager to play this game it is a very good experience on the PS5 and you get the game for free on PS5 anyways. Although It doesn't beat the first game in terms of story, Spider-Man Miles Morales is incredible entry into this slowly forming, Spiderman Gaming Universe.     I don't mind that this game is short. Much prefer it more than the first game. The first game with the same old side activities in each district like 5 crimes in each, fisk construction sites, etc made the game too drawn out and repetitive. I like that they cut down on the suit gadgets and what not cause I didn't even use most of them in the first game

There's a little too much of recharging generators, but the main story is wonderfully done and the friendly neighborhood side stories had more personality than the first game's. They did a great job making MilesA genuinely good time; short, sweet, and to-the-point. There's not as much content total as the first game, but the 12-15 hours were consistently entertaining and rarely felt dull. The electricity packs an extra punch, and while he has less gadgets at his disposal, they all felt useful and made the combat play out much quicker.

    My biggest disappointment is the lack of famous Spider-Man villains, they recycle Rhino more times than I'd like, and Simon Krieger is very bland, though he mostly exists as a catalyst for elevating Proweler and Tinkerer, who both shine really nicely. The narrative also makes up for it by highlighting Miles's family and friends. The scenes outside the suit were actually very engaging, and a definite improvement compared to lab sessions with Dr. Octavious and stealth missions with Mary Jane.

    I understand if people feel there isn't enough to do in this one, but I felt like it offered just enough for me to never be bored with it. And at $50, I would say it's a fantastic deal. It also looks incredible even on a PS4 Pro. It was very considerate to make the game just as playable on older consoles, and leaves me excited to someday replay this with the higher resolution and raytracing.    … Expand

    A Great game despite feeling like an extended DLC featuring Miles Morales. Keeps the core of what Marvel's Spider-Man did so well and adds Miles' personality and story. His venom powers offer a distinctive gameplay experience to Peter's. I would recommend but not a full price, unless you are a huge Spider-Man fan, due to the brevity of an otherwise quality gaming experience.

Other than that, the gameplay is amazing, although it's taken from the 1st game and the facial expressions weren't always perfect, in my opinion.     great story, same gameplay as before but that was expected since its not a full sequel. It had more content than I expected but the story was not as good as I expected but still great and definitely the best part of the game.     Great game, must play,. but felt lacking in content compared to the price. Worth buying on a sale, or if you are hugely into insomniac, the first game, or marvel comics/movies.

    Warum Peter Parker, wenn Miles Morales sogar noch cooler ist?

    Absolute Empfehlung für Fans des Hauptspiels und der freundlichen Spinne aus der Nachbarschaft.

    Auf der PS5 läuft es etwas besser, die PS4-Version braucht sich aber nicht verstecken.

The storyline's ties to real-life social issues was great, and the characters were likeable and charismatic. The gameplay has been improved from the original game; it's more fun now, and they got rid of the unnecessary MJ/Miles stealth sequences. The only realGreat game, just as good (if not better) than the original Spider-Man game. The game is short but sweet, I beat it in about 3 days.     Morales’ New York is just as basic as before. There is nothing to do except complete the same missions, and the city cannot offer anything more except spectacular bird’s eye view panoramas.

    Spider-Man: Miles Morales has a lot to say and it uses every available resource to communicate its messages and themes. Like Miles himself, it is earnest. Among other things, it depicts societal issues in an honest, digestible, and unabashed way. I said before that Spider-Man: Miles Morales establishes a new gold standard for superhero games but that’s not the only bar it’s moving. There are multiple bars set by Spider-Man: Miles Morales that developers should attempt to clear in future products.
