    - After playing Astro's playroom, I thought the Haptic feedback could have been better. It's good, but , it could have been better. There is a lot of unused potential.
    - Insomniac Games could have done better with the story content and boss fights. I mean, come on, look at Sunset Overdrive. Insomniac Games delivered such good content, witty dialogues, amazing boss fight settings and now look at Spiderman, it feels like the teenager in Insomniac Games has grown up to an adult who works at a Wall Street firm!

Overall, it's good game but Insomniac Games have delivered better games in the past and I do see a lot of improvement areas.

Graphically, this game looks even better than MARVEL's Spider-Man. The winter aesthetic to New York looks authentic and well done.

At first, I have to admit, I was mad at the combat. It felt very much like the timing and strength of Spider-Man was off. Then I realized, a bit slower than I would have liked, that this was purposeful. Miles Morales isn't as good yet at kicking ass as Peter Parker is. In the first game, Peter is a seasoned Spider-Man who has perfected his style of combat. Miles however, is still throwing generic hooks and body kicks, and is less coordinated with his style. He hasn't found himself yet, and telling that part of Miles' story through a slightly more frustrating combat experience was a bold move by Insomniac. It also forces you to rely on Miles' deeper pool of powers, allowing you more options in combat that I felt weren't super necessary, but were a fun and polished addition.

The plot and writing here left a lot to be desired. Nearly every person important to the plot had a close personal relationship with the protagonist, allowing for most big plot beats to be covered completely by coincidences.
Dialogue between characters was okay in most places, and really cringe-y during intense or dramatic scenes.
The message the game is trying to send with the story is a good one, but it's encumbered by poor direction.

The music for SM:MM is very different from its predecessor, but still very good. Upbeat, complimentary to the main character, and high quality.

Overall, this game didn't feel like a true sequel. The plot was rushed and poorly directed, the writing wasn't on par with the first game, and the campaign length felt much shorter as well. It's fun, but not a good sequel.

It's still super fun swinging around the city and I love the new animations. The venom powers are fun to use. Overall feels like a worthy side game a la Uncharted: Lost Legacy and like that game, Troy Baker steals the show.
Which brings me to the weak point: the story isn't very good. It's pretty generic and feels rushed. It's essentially an excuse to get to the set pieces which would be fine, but i's such a step down from the original. The character acting is fine (again Troy Baker being the highlight), but mostly unmemorable. How the main villain becomes so much more powerful that Spiderman is unclear. There's a mission where you have to sneak into your own science exhibit because...? Stuff like that that you can tell wasn't given much time and care. Although I like that it's shorter (but not short), I feel that given more time in a full game they could have done more.
Then there's the completely unnecessary, incredibly divisive political message they felt obligated to force in. It has no bearing on the story whatsoever and, in fact, should be deeply offensive to Miles considering his back story. It's just a spry painted mural as a "reward" for finishing side missions which could have easily (and more logically) been replaced by a mural of Spiderman. They would not need to change one line of dialogue or one other frame of animation. It doesn't spoil the game since it has no significance. So why was it there at all?
Anyway, other than that it is a great holdover until the next proper Spiderman title comes out. And literally the best costume ever is unlocked after the main story.

Despite not providing notable news, and being a continuation game with respect to the first installment, something not at all negative due to its excellent formula, no lover of the Spider-Man universe should miss the opportunity to get hold of it.

There is still a 2021 full of great titles for PS4. But it is a good way to start saying goodbye to the system, and / or to welcome the PlayStation 5.

Miles Morales should not be seen only as a small advance to what awaits us in the new generation. It should serve as an aperitif, a good dose of adrenaline, on which Insomniac Games can become capable of in charge of the authentic second part. This time exclusively on PS5.

Even worse with chasing - I could complete Rhino chase only after I enabled chase assistance, because by time you try to aim and perform a jump with L1+L2 your target is already escaped - there isn't even 1-2 sec for you to aim and jump. Combat include dozens of combos with special key patterns, but because the game is incredibly short (I say it again - incredibly short), by the time you remember and know how to use those, its finished already.
It seems that Sony believes they can sell anything for 60 - last of us 2 has many hours gameplay and costs 60, Spiderman has only few hours gameplay (not even 10) and also sells for 60. Next time release a 10 minute game or a demo and put a 60 tag, because why not, as long there are people who pays. Pathetic.

While the game is okay, it pales in comparison to it predecessor. I would only recommend this to someone who has played the original Spiderman ps4 game, and misses the gameplay mechanics, because there's not much else there. The story is short, predictable and uninspired. It try's to recreate the formula of the first game but just doesn't capture it. Meh, at best.

There's a little too much of recharging generators, but the main story is wonderfully done and the friendly neighborhood side stories had more personality than the first game's. They did a great job making Miles play differently than Peter, to the point where I have more fun playing as Miles. The electricity packs an extra punch, and while he has less gadgets at his disposal, they all felt useful and made the combat play out much quicker.

My biggest disappointment is the lack of famous Spider-Man villains, they recycle Rhino more times than I'd like, and Simon Krieger is very bland, though he mostly exists as a catalyst for elevating Proweler and Tinkerer, who both shine really nicely. The narrative also makes up for it by highlighting Miles's family and friends. The scenes outside the suit were actually very engaging, and a definite improvement compared to lab sessions with Dr. Octavious and stealth missions with Mary Jane.

I understand if people feel there isn't enough to do in this one, but I felt like it offered just enough for me to never be bored with it. And at $50, I would say it's a fantastic deal. It also looks incredible even on a PS4 Pro. It was very considerate to make the game just as playable on older consoles, and leaves me excited to someday replay this with the higher resolution and raytracing.

I don’t care what anyone says… Miles morales is a 6 hour long expansion to 2018’s spiderman, theres nothing wrong with that.. but that’s what it is and feels as such.. more of the same, though this time you play through the very rushed story of Miles Morales, who is left with New York city in his hands to take care of while the og spiderman goes to hangout with his boo. Obviously there are tons of collectables and pretty okay sidequests to do around this 6 hour long story, but since it feels like more of the same.. I didn’t care too much to do what felt like, heres more content patched into that game you really loved 2 years ago… though to mix things up, miles morales feels more like batman mixed with spiderman, and I love that, my favorite moments of the arkham games is lurking in the shadows and just snatching fools up, and its just as satisfying here to clear a room without engaging in combat.. and I was mostly pushed towards that because sadly the combat just isn’t satisfying here, don’t get me wrong, it stylish and flashing, you feel like a true hero when you pull off perfect combos, and you alredy know the swagger is exaggerated, but the enemies feel like sponges stopping miles mroales from feeling as satisfying as it could.. which again kept me away from doing too much side activites, im either going to be suffering through the spongey combat, or im going to be doing some dragged out puzzle of connecting electricity with my web…
Miles Morales is definitely a great game, with great characters, its beautiful, the music is amazing, and it tells a really touching story, but this is really just a really well put together expansion… no matter what anyone says.
but with that being said, it’s a great expansion to an amazing game, one with mechanics that feel smooth, the most fun open world outside of an assassins creed game
And with its own platinfum trophy and the $20 discount, I guess that’s okay.
    I give Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales

This game is further proof Insomniac knows exactly what they are doing with our precious Spider-Man characters and Miles' story up to this point is amazing and well written and although this story is short it feels right, as Miles is not a fully defined Spider-Man yet, he's just getting started, so I feel it does a successful job at setting the foundation for a greater Miles story to be told in the future.

However, the reason this game isn't a 10 to me is due to the fact that the story beats can become slightly predictable at times in terms of the antagonist and their motivations but this does not take away from the enjoyment, just the impact.

All in all don't wait for PS5 if you are eager to play this game it is a very good experience on the PS5 and you get the game for free on PS5 anyways. Although It doesn't beat the first game in terms of story, Spider-Man Miles Morales is incredible entry into this slowly forming, Spiderman Gaming Universe. One negative point is the existence of many militancy, showing a new sexual orientation of a 17's game character and a BLM graffiti in some places. But this don't erase the greatness of this game.

Spider-Man: Miles Morales has a lot to say and it uses every available resource to communicate its messages and themes. Like Miles himself, it is earnest. Among other things, it depicts societal issues in an honest, digestible, and unabashed way. I said before that Spider-Man: Miles Morales establishes a new gold standard for superhero games but that’s not the only bar it’s moving. There are multiple bars set by Spider-Man: Miles Morales that developers should attempt to clear in future products.
