    Give this game a 10 to negate the other user reviews that is just trying to lower it's score. Anyway, game was very fun! Even though I finished the story around 12 hrs playing under Spectacular difficulty, I didn't find it short and to me, this is just the right amount of time to finish a game for people who are also bisy with their family. Loge the soundtrack and the gameplay is betterGive this game a 10 to negate the other user reviews that is just trying to lower it's score. Anyway, game was very fun!     This game is definitely a step up from the previous one. The world and its people interact so much more than they had previously and the new animations and soundtrack make it worthwhile to swing around the city whilst having a blast! Insomniac Games' universe is truly shaping up to be one of my favourites.

    The game is fantastic. Although it has a short story, it is fascinating. It has a beautiful color scheme and interesting movements. Be sure to try. I liked it very much.

    My only complaint for this game is how short it is. Really does feel like a spin-off, but an excellent one. Took about 10 hours for me to beat the story. (Did a few side activities here and there). People are starting to review bomb the game, so I’ll give it a 10. I’ve actually seen some racist comments on here, which makes me wonder how fragile certain people’s ego can actually be. ThereMy only complaint for this game is how short it is.     Marvel's Spider-man Miles Morales is a little 17's Spider-man version. Everything is there: Manhattan, enemies and missions, also FEAST characters, Miles Morales father's grave and other cool things. But with the new Miles Morales' electrical powers.

    One negative point is the existence of many militancy, showing a new sexual orientation of a 17's game character and a BLM graffiti in some places. But this don't erase the greatness of this game.

    Other negative point is the game length. In 10 hours you can platinize it, including finish the New Game+ mode.

    The developers listened. Venom mode is awesome. No lame levels that make you be someone who is not Spider-man. The city is very well done. I like that it is winter in NYC. I'm not a fan of the Miles Morales story line. But they did a good job.

Miles gains experience, discovers his new abilities, and becomes a full-fledged spider-man. The story itself leaves a pleasant feeling.     Absolutely amazing game. This game feels like next gen especially with the Haptic dual sense. From the graphics to gameplay you will not be dissapointed. I spent hours alone swinging from building to building. Another masterpiece by insomniac.

    I don't mind that this game is short. Much prefer it more than the first game. The first game with the same old side activities in each district like 5 crimes in each, fisk construction sites, etc made the game too drawn out and repetitive. I like that they cut down on the suit gadgets and what not cause I didn't even use most of them in the first game

    WHAT A GAME! Regardless of what some players are saying, this is NOT A DLC but an amazing game within itself. This has further raised the high bar that the initial Spider-man had set. Awesome story, characters, graphics, game-play, features and music. Enjoyed every second spent in the world of Miles Morales!

    I'll get the negative out of the way first, since there really isn't very much of it.

    The game is not very long. It's probably the shortest game I've ever paid full price for. Normally, a lack of content would be a big problem for me, but considering I enjoyed every single minute of the game, I can't take marks away from it for not having more of those minutes. Besides, the replayability of this game, just like it's 2018 predecessor, is huge.

    It's not exactly the most polished game either. It's not broken by any means, but there was a noticeable amount of bugs. Most of which were visual. Miles becoming a floating head, textures having a breakdown and shooting all over the place, nothing to really destroy the experience, and usually something to laugh at.
    However, during my playthrough there were two occasions where I had to restart from checkpoint because the AI had just decided to give up and move out, making it impossible to continue.

    And more than a few times podcasts/phone calls/ voicemails were cut off never to return when I'd enter a menu or start a task. This got real irritating when I was trying to hear an important bit of a storyline and got interrupted by an **** carjacker.

    Now that we've got the negative out of the way, let's get into the good stuff.

    I truly believe this is the best Spider-Man story we have received in digital entertainment. No film or game has been as loveable story-wise ever before. Well, Spider-verse came close...

    Maybe it's just Miles who is loveable.

    It's about as 'Friendly neighbourhood' as you can get. Miles feels much more like a local good-guy than Peter did, and that's much better to play as, in my opinion. That's not to say I didn't like Peter, Spider-Man 2018 was one of my favourite games of the generation, but after playing Miles Morales, I can see how much better a hero Spider-Man can be when he is focused on a smaller scale. Instead of New York City being the focus, you're main priority is protecting Harlem, Miles' neighbourhood.

    Graphics was an area I was worried about, considering I do not have a PS5 and was playing solely on the PS4 version.
    My god was I wrong to worry.
    I expected the game to look pretty much exactly like the 2018 game, but insomniac have taken care to improve visuals as much as possible while still keeping them achievable on a 7 year old console. Obviously it looks better on PS5, but it's still a gorgeous game on PS4.

    Visuals weren't the only thing they improved on, not by a long shot.

    All loading times are noticeably shorter, especially travelling in/out of hideouts. There is generally ZERO load screens in these moments.

    The gameplay loop from the first game was already brilliant, and stayed fun, if not a slight bit repetitive, all the way through.

    Now it may be due to the length, and is definitely due to the added venom powers, but this combat did not feel repetitive once.

    They absolutely NAILED the venom power system, and the combat system overall. Taking people out with well placed venom attacks feels as satisfying as God Of War's Leviathan Axe returning to your hand after wiping out gods. The overall combat system gave just enough feeling of being a superpowered human while still being challenging and needing you to do more than button mash. I'd love to be able to comment on the use of the new DualSense controller, but sadly I'm still yet to try one, due to being poor and British.

    Soundtrack and scoring is something that kinda snuck up on me. The 2018 game contained a brilliant score by the talented John Paesano, and I had just assumed that this game would contain a mostly similar soundtrack with some modernisation and tweaking. But oh no.

    The soundtrack of this game is a wonderfully perfect fit. John has hit the nail on the head mixing hero-style orchestral sounds with grounded teenage music. The main theme and the track played in the final cutscene are some of the best in-game pieces of music insomniac have produced. It also came with a few very welcome surprises from the excellent Jaden and Lecrae.

    It may sound like I'm just smothering the game in positivity, which is because that's exactly what I'm doing. And I fully believe this game deserves it.

    This is easily among the greatest superhero games I've ever played, and I've played a LOT of them. If it were literally just a slight bit cheaper, say £40, I'd recommend it without any hesitation, but if you are a player who needs 20+ hours of content to see, you'll likely be disappointed for the £50 price tag. I, however, was not.

    uno pensaría que el balanceo sería un copia y pega del juego anterior y sería prácticamente lo mismo, pero no es así, miles se mueve de una manera distinta a la de peter en el primer juego, además de tener muchas variantes de movimientos acrobáticos al balancearse, el combate es muy disfrutable ya que con las nuevas habilidades de veneno de miles son muy útiles para eliminar a los enemigosuno pensaría que el balanceo sería un copia y pega del juego anterior y sería prácticamente lo mismo, pero no es así, miles se mueve de una manera distinta a la de peter en el primer juego, además de tener muchas variantes de movimientos acrobáticos al balancearse, el combate es muy disfrutable ya que con las nuevas habilidades de veneno de miles son muy útiles para eliminar a los enemigos más rápidamente, la habilidad de camuflaje es excelente a la hora de derrotar a los enemigos sigilosamente, por otro lado los gadgets son pocos pero se compensa con las abilidades anteriores ya mencionadas, el sountrack es increíble y queda perfecto en este juego, la historia es algo corta ya que en mi caso la campaña me costó alrededor de 4 horas claro sí juegas misiones secundarias y completas los coleccionables que hay en el juego te llevarán aproximadamente unas 10 horas, un punto negativo del juego es que en algunas ocasiones las texturas en algunas cinemáticas no cargaban y en algunas peleas el juego bajaba de fps, ojo esto por que yo jugué en la versión para ps4. En conclusión es un gran juego, eso sí mucho más corto que el primero pero cumple en entretenerte :)… Expand

    I just got a PS4 and the first game I played was Spiderman Miles Morales. I am a huge Spiderman fan and this game finally brought him justice in the video game world since Spider Man 2. This is my favourite game of all time and the graphics are stunning even on a PS4. Definitely worth the 60 bucks.

    Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales is a nice introduction to another Spider-Man. Giving Miles his own story after being introduced in the first game feels like a natural next step. Miles controls very similar to Peter, but also has some unique (and quite awesome) skills of his own. A very personal story allows for him to really shine. I only wish the game was a little longer.

    Story and gameplay is solid, the 60fps option is so fluid, the photo mode is fun, spidey suit options are cool, almost no loading times. Overall the game is short but feels very next gen. My only complaint is slightly immersion breaking eye rolling political pandering bring what could have been a 10 to a 9 instead.

    The developers listened. Venom mode is awesome. No lame levels that make you be someone who is not Spider-man. The city is very well done. I like that it is winter in NYC. I'm not a fan of the Miles Morales story line. But they did a good job.

Villain is just a friend of Spider-Man gone rouge. Now that I've talked about the negatives, let's move on to the positive. The graphics are just outstanding. I can't believe they managed to have relatively good graphics on PS4. Sure it's only 30fps even on the PS4 Pro but those consoles don't drop frames ever.… Expand

There is enough difference to make Miles Morales different from the original game, but kept enough of the elements that made it great.     If you have played the first title then you won't be surprised by the quality of game-play and presentation. Nothing has changed and that's far from a bad thing. The game-play is well rounded for beat em up action with a healthy does of difficulty. The visuals are stunning. The sound and music are exceptional, especially when you consider the licensed tracks that have been woven in. And the voice acting is second to none! So just more of the same right? Not really.

    The big reason for anyone to pick this up is to walk in the shoes (or swing with the webs) of Miles. With the added powers of electricity and invisibility, he plays just differently enough to create a new experience. The journey he takes in particular is a very different one to what we had seen with Peter. Where the last game was full of villains, characters, marvel easter eggs and just more content in general. Miles Morales really feels a little more intimate in regards to content and story. I really enjoyed seeing Miles grow throughout the story which centres around he's relationship with an old friend. Not to mention some of the big scale cinematic sections that are a blast to play!

    Yes, this might very well be a glorified standalone DLC. But for what you get and the quality, it released for the right price. It's a must for any Spidey fan or fans of the first game.    … Expand

    This spin off by Insomniac is a great start to the PS5 era. Beautiful visuals, good (but short) story, gameplay feels improved and the score is top notch. Must buy for a PlayStation owner.

    Its really short and beautiful game! Really nice graphics and mechanics. I think everything what was great in Marvel's Spider-Man is better in this game. Albo, great side quests. And one more thing. I remember how hard it was to wait with main storyline when playing, to make this game longer.

    However, the reason this game isn't a 10 to me is due to the fact that the story beats can become slightly predictable at times in terms of the antagonist and their motivations but this does not take away from the enjoyment, just the impact.

    All in all don't wait for PS5 if you are eager to play this game it is a very good experience on the PS5 and you get the game for free on PS5 anyways. Although It doesn't beat the first game in terms of story, Spider-Man Miles Morales is incredible entry into this slowly forming, Spiderman Gaming Universe. Highly recommended, it is worth the £50/$50.    … Expand

Other than that, the gameplay is amazing, although it's taken from the 1st game and the facial expressions weren't always perfect, in my opinion.     Absolute Empfehlung für Fans des Hauptspiels und der freundlichen Spinne aus der Nachbarschaft.

    Auf der PS5 läuft es etwas besser, die PS4-Version braucht sich aber nicht verstecken.

    I gave the original 9/10 and this one seems to follow suit. It gives the action-packed spidey fun of the original with more to do around the city. I wouldn’t put it ahead of its predecessor as I do like the story more in the original than the sequel though that is not a jab to this game as the story is great it just seems a bit rushed.     Morales’ New York is just as basic as before. There is nothing to do except complete the same missions, and the city cannot offer anything more except spectacular bird’s eye view panoramas.

    Spider-Man: Miles Morales has a lot to say and it uses every available resource to communicate its messages and themes. Like Miles himself, it is earnest. Among other things, it depicts societal issues in an honest, digestible, and unabashed way. I said before that Spider-Man: Miles Morales establishes a new gold standard for superhero games but that’s not the only bar it’s moving. There are multiple bars set by Spider-Man: Miles Morales that developers should attempt to clear in future products.
