The bait is nostalgia. The victim is your wallet. Wait for that price drop, true believers. [October 2016, p73]

As hack ‘n’ slash titles, the Ultimate Alliance games were, and still are, rather basic and bare bones.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 1 and 2 feels very much like a quick port job. I do feel good that Marvel has come out to address the larger issues, and players are getting that content, but the price is still too high a barrier for the state these games were released in.

At the end of the day, the Marvel Ultimate Alliance Bundle is exactly what you would expect; the previous gen games, on the current gen systems… Nothing more and nothing less (well actually a little bit less at the moment, but Activision is owning up to fixing that).

Not unlike a poorly done Blu-ray release of a classic film, the Marvel Ultimate Alliance release on current-gen is just disappointing. The games are still great and fun, but this new release is off the mark in several major ways.

It’s with a heavy heart that I say steer clear of this one. It’s a marvellous game that will bring many, many, many hours of joy and entertainment into your life. But wait until it hits a sale on the PSN so you won’t feel so fleeced as you play through it.

The game is actually quite awesome of the cool, fun locations to travel trough game, such as S.H.I.E.L.D. Heli Carrier at the start, Murderworld, Asgard just to mention a few. The combat is also pretty great when we talk about that each character have many diffirent powers, weapons to attack with and etc. MUA1 is the greatest, and that I was write much of here. The second one is much more unintresting unfortunately. Full Review »
