Machiknights: Blood Bagos may be simple at its core yet stomping around with a friend while decimating your foes just feels awesome.

Machi Knights: Blood Bagos is often a game which grates in long play-sessions, and does little to set itself apart from other games on the market. This is a very hard sell for anyone who wants something more than a button masher, and even then, it’s hard to shake the feeling that you’re just settling for this game over a better use of your time.

Fortunately, there are nearly endless possibilities to keep upgrading and improving your mech and the game also offers endgame arena fights which might keep you interested for a little while longer.

All in all not a bad fun and mindless game, especially in couch co-op mode with a friend.

    + smooth gameplay.
    + couch co-op
+ bright colourful graphics with lots of on-screen action without slowdown.

    - can get monotonous fast. Lacks variation.
