    I absolutely loved playing Lumote: The Mastermote Chronicles. It may not be for everyone but those who enjoy it will enjoy it a lot.

    Lumote is a well made, Multi-dimensional puzzle game with a great combination of lighting and classical platformer controls. While the Lumotes with subtle cuteness were surely amazing, the game somewhat failed to leave a strong impression due to lack of intense elements.

    Clever puzzles and enjoyable platforming don’t disguise repetitive action or the lack of visual variety. It’s fun but best experienced in smaller bursts. [Issue#15, p.94]

    If you thrive on completing puzzles, you’ll likely get a kick out of working your way through each of Lumote: The Mastermote Chronicles’ levels. But be prepared for plenty of repetition in both puzzle design and the environment around you. For most players, it’s likely boredom is going to set in long before you reach the end.

    Lumote: The Mastermote Chronicles is adorable with clever logical puzzles that may appeal to the masses who love a good puzzler. Despite being filled with Bioluminescent beauty though, the lack of direction and repetitive environment holds it back from being anything more than ordinary.
