    The original game was a lot of fun, but this PS4 port feels and looks extremely outdated. If you want to play a DS game on PS4 though, be our guest.

    I wanted to like Lock’s Quest. For a fan of strategy, RPG, and puzzles Lock’s Quest could have been one of those titles that brought the three together properly. Nine years ago on the DS, it probably did it fairly well, but this port has a number of issues that could do with addressing. The camera and lack of explanation for your abilities are the most glaring ones, and once you settle into a tactical groove early on, things soon become dull. Lock’s Quest is a game that had potential, but it feels squandered.

    Nothing I wrote here in 2008 applies to the ugly, sh.tty, port job with woefully poor controls and instances of the whole thing being plaing f.cking broken.

    Just bought the game at Humble Bundle and paid less than US$1. That's my only relief because Lock's Quest is a mess.

    Played 3 stages and in both of them the towers did not behave the way they should: how can towers don't shoot in the enemy in a tower defense game? The art is cool, the idea for the game is nice, but man I'm sad about the towers being destroyed because they were not shooting the enemies. That's all. It's 2018 November. Fix it.    … Full Review »

This version is full of glitches, and it's honestly not a good game.
