Having played the otherwise fun Broken Age recently, and given up thanks to the obtuse puzzles hindering my progress however, I for one an glad that these we are seeing games that increasingly focus more on the story and player choices.

Of course focusing on the story means that the story has to be interesting and that is certainly the case with Life is Strange. Admittedly there are a few slightly dull scenes, such as the one that tasks you with wondering around a junkyard trying to find glass bottles, but I was hooked from the opening episode and couldn't wait to find out what was going to happen next. There are also some genuinely tough decisions to be made (the one in the final episode for example had me agonising over it for a good three or four minutes) which really help you feel as though you are part of the story and not just watching a semi-interactive movie.

TellTale Games popularised the less puzzle driven point and click adventure but Life is Strange takes the crown as the best that the genre currently has to offer.

The art style while interesting can feel underwhelming at times which is a shame as I was genuinely moved at times when the facial animation (or lack of) really took things down a notch for me.. (it was a cross gen release I suppose). So at times I found myself wishing for a more 'Detroit BH' or 'Until Dawn' level of facial capture, but what is here serves its purpose well enough.

Overall it is a great addition to the 'choice your own adventure' type genre and shows how far good writing and intelligent results can really elevate the experience of playing a game like this.

I thought originality in video games had virtually disappeared favoring safe releases like Call of Duty, which I feel only ruins the gaming industry. Bravo to all involved in giving us this game. In hindsight I would use this game as prove that videogames can be art and tell compelling stories. I heard from a lot of people that this was an amazing game and the reviews seem to prove this. So when the complete game was available I bought it. I should warn you that this game style like the Telltale games (Walking Dead, Wolf Among Us, Batman etc.) are not for everyone. Some criticize this for being an interactive movie instead of a videogames and it is not a wrong argument per se. However this is preferences and not a weakness of the game. I truly enjoyed the game like many others and we all want a continuation of this games story. The story follows Maxine Caulfield (Just called Max) who returned to her former hometown the small city Arcadia Bay to study photography at the Blackwell Academy. Her family moved to another town 5 years ago and she left a lot of people behind including her best friend Chloe Price. Arcadia Bay has become infamous as student Rachel Amber vanished without trace six months ago which is still a big topic. Max is drawn into the events of the game and the past also caught up to her. Small spoiler warning but it is in the games description even on Metacritic: Max discovers that she can rewind time (in a small amount) with all advantages like retrying and remembering what happened. However it is limited and she cant rewind for long periods. I think it is not even enough to win a lottery but enough for Las Vegas and still immensely useful. End of small spoilers. The story works really well. I was fully invested into the outcomes, characters and progress. It creates immersion and emotions which is the key to good story telling. Also the twists were excellent. Like in other games in this genre your decisions influence the story to some extend. There are different results or outcomes depending what you do, say or decide. It is more than in the Telltale Games as there are some bigger differences. The characters are the next strength of the game. Max is one of my favorite video game characters. She is relatable, smart and kindhearted. Her struggles and journey are amazing. This is also true for Chloe Price who is amazing too. She is equally good, relatable but a bit hardened by life. These two together are amazing and have a great chemistry. The support characters are good too. Kate Marsh and Victoria Chase are well written and genuine. They have depth and you see what they are made of. Also valid for Warren Graham, Nathan Prescot, Joyce Price, David Madsen and Mark Jefferson. The writers and voice actors deliver a truly good result. I saw no missteps and flaws as the experience was always enjoyable, immersive and intense at the right moments. Gameplay wise it is a bit like an interactive movie. There are some riddles or puzzles. I like how they integrated Max skills into this. However it is not a puzzle game and the core aspects are about decisions and creating your path through the story. There will be hard choices and decisions. Like I said there are often multiple outcomes for the events and past decisions can bite you in the back. Graphically I love the art style. The characters look amazing and all emotions are well transferred. I would buy an art book. Overall this was a positive surprise and I want to see more from the character. The game left an impact and I hope Max and Chloe’s story will be continued. An easy recommendation if you like this genre or good characters in an interesting mystery. Expand

Here you play as aspiring photographer max… she has a vision of impending doom for the town of arcadia, and soon after she discovers she has the ability to rewind time after she saves her best friend Chloe from being killed…
The game is spread up into 5 episodes, and each episode does a great job of leaving you wanting more and feeling like self-contained stories…
You feel like you’ve accomplished everything in each episode.. none felt filler
You do play as a high school senior, and the game does a great job of feeling like you’re a high school girl, dealing with bullies, dealing with students having crushes on you, balancing friendships… and dealing with some pretty heavy emotional situations you’d expect from a bunch of high school kids
if you have a heart, you will cry playing this game, multiple times…
Where things get interesting is the rewind ability…
This is still an adventure game but not a nonsense adventure game…
it’s pretty easy knowing what to do in a situation, though one puzzle in a later episodes gets a little too complicated and slows the game down a bit…
But puzzles are found both in the environment and in dialog…
As you have to make sure you don’t say the wrong thing to someone while trying to get information out of them that you need…
or if you don’t like a reaction they had, you can rewind time and try something else…
As well as outcomes of a few important situations.. The game will indicate that a choice you made will have consequences and you can decide to deal with those consequences or go for a different outcome and deal with tem... but by time you learn what these consequences are, its too late to go back and change... so while I was worried at first.. This makes your decisions and choices still matter in the game…
much like the telltale games, I wasn’t a fan of the sections that I had to walk around and interact with items in the environment…
Most did add to the story…
But a few did annoy and frustrate me and felt like they were there to just drag the game out
10 hours of pure story though... definitely does get exhausting…
so this isn’t really a finish in one sitting kind of game.. especially with the at times poor pacing…
but the story telling here is so good that even if you do get tired you want to keep pushing to see what’s behind the next corner and what twist the game is going to throw at you next…
People have been recommending this game to me since it came out, and I’m glad I finally got around to experiencing it
The gameplay isn’t the best, but the powerful story telling makes Life is Strange a must experience game…
    I give Life is Strange
    an 8.5/10

Life is Strange is a great game. The story is interesting and unpredictable, the voice acting is solid, and the graphics are decent enough too. My only issue is that the time powers do draw the tension clean out of certain dramatic moments. But if you like story-focused games, or simply a game with a great plot, pick this game up.

This game was a complete surprise for me, it’s not that I was not expecting a good game but I really enjoyed it in the end.

First thing it’s worth commenting is that I think this isn’t a game for everybody. If you like fast paced games, with a lot of action or where you play a very active role then this isn’t gonna be your thing. This game presents a slow paced gameplay where you basically walk around, talk to people and look at objects; it creates tension and interest through the story, not the gameplay. Said that, it is very similar, in terms of how to play it, to heavy rain, until dawn etc., so if you liked those, chances are you will like this one. I always describe these games as point a click adventures, but without the puzzling element the classic adventures used to have, it is a lot simpler (sometimes even too easy) to progress here. How long to beat? Probably around 15h, assuming you like to explore the surroundings, a bit more, maybe, if you want to find the collectibles.

Other things, the graphic style is a bit weird sometimes but I’ve come to like it (take a look at some videos and pics), I don’t think it ruins the experience or anything so they’re good enough. The OST is fantastic, the music goes incredibly well with the game, they’ve done a great work here. Finally and most importantly, the story is great although I must say it might feel a bit slow. The first two episodes are a bit of an introduction and then real interesting stuff starts to happen from middle/ending of episode 3 onwards. This means, it may feel a bit too slow at the beginning (that’s what I felt), but if you hang in there until the end you’ll realise the story is actually quite well done. It left me with a feeling of “wow, this was interesting” at the end. The characters are likeable in my opinion, although this is highly subjective and the story I think is highly focused on the feelings of both the main character and one of her friends, which you may or may not like, but don’t get me wrong, still a thrilling story behind all this, it is not all cheesy.

Anyway, I quite like games that make me feel something in the end, after playing games for more than 20 years I find most of them don’t make me feel anything special at the end; well…this one did. If you’re looking for something a bit fresh with a good story and don’t mind about slow paced mechanics, give it a try. If you’re the kind of person that only that likes fast paced games where you have to take a very active role bla bla bla you might want to spend your money elsewhere.

While not a shoot em up type game to play with friends it's definitely one that can be enjoyed with more people as you debate what decisions to choose. One interesting part is after each episode they tell you the percent of people who chose each option for every "question". One thing that is very important to me is value in a game. This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Life is Strange is a fabulous game. I, personally, love it. The main plot is truly beautiful in the sense that is perfectly and very descriptively goes through each and every bit of story, in a totally non-confusing way. it tells a great story of a girl named Max who has just moved back home. Now it seems a little crazy, and the time traveling foundation can seem shaky and does appear completely fictional. However the way Max uses her ability to time travel and the way she spends her time and uses the information she has is unbelievably human. It is realistic and believable and it is beautiful. It makes me cry when I think of the plot solely because the story is so pure and shows some (somewhat) real responses to (somewhat) real human issues. It is relatable and just a great game in general. the graphics and art style are great and it is just fabulous overall. 100% recommended!! Expand

Throughout the game, Max uses her time powers in her everyday school-life, saving those she cares about and all while investigating the strange happenings in her home town of Arcadia Bay.

Max’s time and space manipulation powers are some of the most impressive time/space powers that I’ve seen in a modern-day game. Max’s main power is her time-reverse ability, which is limited. It only allows her to go back in time, up to a few minutes, which is great for changing conversations, gathering important information or to get the best outcomes out of specific interactions The ability to see the initial outcome of your decisions and to have the option to change them, gives players better control on how the story develops and is a huge step forward for these types of choose-your-own adventure games.

Secondly, Max’s time travel powers manifest in a different way using her love of photography. Without spoiling too much of the story, one of Max’s more prominent abilities later in the game allows her to change whole timelines for better or worse. It really opens up the game to a more dynamic element of time-travel that really solidifies the game’s heavier emotional and sci-fi elements.

On top of Max’s amazing powers, Life is Strange has an emotionally gripping story. Not only does it give true science fiction enthusiasts a great story to rival movies like The Time Machine, Butterfly Effect, and Back to the Future, it also creates a truly immersive, dramatically-dynamic game similar to Heavy Rain. With choice being the main concept and consequences really meaning something, the game shows off it’s incredibly impassioned story telling with meaningfully hard choices and conversations that create a rippling effect that really make the player question their decisions as the game progresses, but in a positive way.

While investigating, the game has you following a bold story with tons of intrigue and peril that truly keeps players on their toes. It should’ve been something I saw coming but the writing and personal choices I made really kept me guessing until the end, making it into a truly awesome roller-coaster mystery adventure. On top of that, the mystery solving in the game felt real, as if it were something I could figure out in real life. At one point in the game, Max and Chloe have to put together evidence they collected, which added a surprisingly fun puzzle element to the game without being stupid easy or ridiculously hard.
The soundtrack was definitely a stand-out element of this game. Not only did the director do a fantastic job of creating a perfect environment for the soundtrack but the timing and artistic aesthetic made one of the best video game soundtracks. In a weird set of events, I accidentally ended up getting the Limited Edition version of the game, which came with a CD of the soundtrack. Some of the bands include Syd Matters, Message to Bears, Bright Eyes and several other indie-alternative artists.

This game wasn’t without faults though as it had a rough introduction. From the very start, Max attends a prestigious, private art school which made the initial feel of the game to be pretentious. If you’re not big into art and photography it can be a bit of a drag. There were definitely some more down-to-earth supporting characters but, initially at least, I found it a bit hard to get into the setting of the story.

Secondly, the game world of Arcadia Bay and Blackwell College was well done but I felt that the much of the click-and-point elements were meaningless. Even though most of time, interactions and conversations gave you some decent insight into the story, I found that a large portion of it was useless fluff. As an example, Chloe would comment on strange things like a poster or options like investigating the dirtiness of a vehicle. It slows the pacing of the game with unnecessary dialogue most of the time.

Life is Strange is by far, one of the most impressive adventures games to date. It mixed emotional story-telling, dynamic gameplay and sci-fi time travel perfectly. This should be the new benchmark for choose-your-own adventure games because if this is what we can get out of these style of games, it makes me eager for the next one.

The closest games that remind me this kind of game would be Beyond or Detroit. Of course, Life is strange has worse graphics and less different things to do but I can easily say that these are the closest games. My main complaint of this game is that voices are not syncrhonized with the lips (and it's a pity because the acting voices are really good). The last episode is a bit over the top but it's still holding fine. And the last thing is that at the end of this game you can choose between two options. I chose the one that in my opinion is the more logical but I think they should have given you the choise to do another thing. Also, I was curious about the other ending and of course I watched it and I still thing it's too positive and optimistic regarding the events that you see (should have been more dramatic. Doesn't feel fair nor balance compared to the other one). Because I didn't want to spoil anything I don't know if you people will be able to get what I mean. It probably took me arount 15 hours or even more because I tried to serach everything. My only advice would be that in the second episode when they tell you that you can't use your powers pause the game and search on the internet what you must say cause trust me, you will fail if you don't do that. Of course you can start over that part of this second episode but I still think it's better to do it as I said. Expand

In some sense it might be more about the choices we didn't make. As time travel rears its ugly head into this world that fact becomes more apparent. An ability that although used with good intentions can potentially have dire consequences. This is a five part episodic game blurs the line between game and movies quite well with all its cut-scenes and narrative sequences. Its easy to jump right into this world and just get lost in the flow of events.

You play as Max, a photography student at Blackwell academy. After watching someone get shot Max quickly realizes she has the ability to rewind time. Max uses this new ability to save the girl's life and quickly realizes it is her old friend Chloe, whom she hasn't seen in five years. Chloe is very different from the girl Max knew as a kid, shes been having an especially hard time since her friend Rachael Amber disappeared from Arcadia Bay. Her and Chloe decide to investigate what happened to Rachael Amber by connecting her disappearance with other events happening around Blackwell. They also have another problem to worry about as Max is having premonitions of Arcadia Bay being wiped out by a huge storm. Its hard to tell if its just a dream or not but a series strange weather events and dying animals feels like a bad omen.

This is a story based game all about player choice. The choices you make will have different effects throughout the game. With the ability to go back in time Max will often question her decisions and at times you may be tempted to go back and undo your choices. I feel like player choice in this game is more about getting you immersed than it is about influencing the events that unfold throughout this fairly linear narrative. It really makes you feel connected to Max as you go with her through various struggles and challenging dilemmas. It often feels like a movie or mini-series cleverly disguised as a game.

The characters are the highlight of this narrative-driven game. Between the superb writing and wonderful voice acting all the citizens of Arcadia Bay feel very believable. Chloe is at wits end with her step father, who just happens to be Blackwell's head of security. Drama surrounds Victoria, the super popular mean girl, who despite her attitude seems to have more going on beneath the surface. Kate, a very kindhearted and devotedly religious girl, is feeling quite down after she becomes Victoria's latest victim. Warren, Max's closest friend at Blackwell, is great help with Max's science homework and seems to have developed quite strong feelings for her. This is just a taste of the many characters in this game, all of whom can't even really be summed up in just a sentence or two.

Playing through this game is quite a thrilling experience. Your power to travel through time is exhilarating but the more you use it the more questionable it becomes. You actually feel fairly powerless as things seem to get progressively worse as you dig deeper into the games mysteries. It is quite exciting however trying to put the puzzle pieces together. You'll want to keep coming back till to see where everything fits in to the picture. I had some mixed feelings in the last episode but with everything weighing on it and seeing how highly built up it was, this was basically unavoidable. It took awhile for me to process everything that happened in this game but I really did enjoy my time with it and would recommend to any who is looking for an immersive and interactive story.

For me personally, i can't relate to the character until around episode 3 where it all starts to get good, and at that point on, this game was amazing.
It does not have the best start, Episode 1 is Ok, And Episode 2 is great, but the real moment of this game is episode 3 and 4, Extremely amazing

I don't really know why anyone would give this product less than a 9. The story-telling is super emotional, well-thought out, gripping, suspenseful, etc. I can't even really call any TV shows or movies I've watched in a long time that were this good from start to end. There are times where I just couldn't stop crying - some of the scenes and events in the story really affected me. I feelI don't really know why anyone would give this product less than a 9. There are times where I just couldn't stop crying - some of the scenes and events in the story really affected me. I feel wiser for having played through the game, and I feel like I've experienced something that I can take with me long after my episode 5 end credits.

All of the characters - major and minor - are believable, unique and complex, like real people. I really connected with all of the characters in some way, and if I didn't, I still felt something else for them. They were all very well developed. I really connected with Chloe especially - I knew someone sort of like her in my long past that meant a lot to me too, and I'm female and gay, so lots to relate.

The sound track fits the game perfectly. The voice acting is incredible. The colours and attention to even the smallest details and consistency is truly amazing. The story has so much suspense, with lots of twists and turns that will keep you guessing for quite awhile, and everything makes sense when the answers are finally revealed. The themes of friendship and love are the most powerful I've ever seen done in pretty much any media.

I can't really call this a game though - if you buy thinking you want a challenge or to experience a permanent failure - like jumping into a pit in a Mario game or losing all of your health in a shooter - then this game isn't for you (and if that's you, that's cool, but that also doesn't mean the game should get a 0). It's really an interactive story, that really connects with you on a personal level - something movies and comics simply can't do.

In terms of mechanics within the game, I think the only criticism is the long wait times for rewinding large sections of the game, but that's honestly a minor blemish on an other perfect experience.

I will treasure this game forever, and you will to. Play it.

Despite the odds, it does. The unfortunate part about the gimmick of the game is that is essentially reduces the suspense or sense of significance to the choices in most situations, and reduces replayability, but that's just a slight damper. If you power through the fairly methodical, character-establishing 2 episodes, the next 2 enter a wild ride, and the game's entirety and conclusion may haunt you and stick with you for a long time. This is not a game for everyone though and knowing your own tastes will be a factor if you will enjoy it or not. Since it's more of a heavy story driven, casual exploring game that is not in line with many of the action adventure that are popular today.
The art work is well done and brings a unique feel that one only gets from games such as Shadow of the Colossus and ICO.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Well I played the prequel sequel first which was zero fantastical. This game really put my fave character from Before the Storm through multiple ringers in this one. This time around in the Life is Strange series a young woman coming of age is gifted or cursed with a fantastical power.

The graphics are reminiscent of Telltale games. The VA and music really added a lot of class to the experience. The gameplay is fairly simple and so the experiences ends up more character and story driven focus. It took sometime for the Mono Max character to grow on me. The overall story was interesting, but I liked Before the Storm more, because of it's down to earth realism. Well at least I know how far I would go in a computer game between love/friendship versus altruism towards a town.

The polarizing limited choice at the end was kind of frustrating. If messing around with time was a cumulative effect that caused a major environmental disaster? Then why would the logic of making another time jump even be helpful? It wasn't even clear how time worked. So risking a persons life on hunch seemed very illogical.

Story: First of all to the most important part of Life Is Strange (spoiler free of course): The Story.
As already mentioned, Life Is Strange is played exactly for this wonderful and very emotional story. The characters are perfect, dialogues are well portrayed and the story is also thrilling, sad and thought-provoking. Life Is Strange also lives up to its name. The story is really strange at some points because of its special ability. That's exactly what makes the story so good! It's fun to follow the story.
What I also like very much is that you can influence the story with decisions in the game. So every player gets an individual experience. That's what only few games offers - that's why you should definitely have a look at Life Is Strange!

Gameplay: Now to the less important point (in this case): Gameplay. As a true gamer you would probably call the gameplay of Life Is Strange boring. I'm a true gamer and I disagree completely. The developers of Life Is Strange have placed little value on gameplay. The focus was on the story. Don't buy Life Is Strange because of the gameplay. You won't expect anything special here. But due to the EXTREMELY good story I didn't deduct a single point in the rating.

Conclusion: Every story lover should have played Life Is Strange in any case! It's a feast for the eyes when it comes to the story. Very exciting and emotional. I also like to remember this story again and again. And I only claim that for a few Story games.

Life is strange is such a awesome game. Its emotional, storytelling, scientific and with very interesting story. Its a must play game but its not the best game you ever play. I have played it 2 times and i enjoy it each time.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I recently replayed this game again. I played it originally 5 years ago, but it really has a lot of replay value once you forget the little details. The thing that makes this game such a masterpiece is the interactions. Every dialogue stacks up with the following, until the final choice. SPOILERS, but to me there's only one true ending. Unlike let's say, last of us, not making the selfish choice really makes sense too, for the characters and it feels so much more meaningful. Like, yeah, I think everyone wants Chloe to live, but what really makes that decision so powerful its the fact that...both make sense in a way. If you're selfish, it feels like you've been protecting Chloe every step, so you can't accept the fact that she has to die. It feels real because even if the moral choice is obvious, what we really care about is our own emotions and the ones we love. That person was always Chloe (check the journal and pay attention to your interactions, sometimes it's very noticeable and others a lot more subtle). The thing is, it's not about a moral choice, it's about a lesson of letting go. Everything started because of that decision. Nature has to continue it's course and maybe even if you save her, it doesn't matter and destruction will follow. The only way it's to accept that moving forward is what the entire game was about. You have to accept that moving on is the only way. And that's a beautiful yet heartbreaking ending to a masterpiece in storytelling. The game is full of tiny details, immersion, music, great characters, a **** of lovable cheesiness. To me Life is Strange is one of the best games ever made. Every decision makes you think.

    This is a 100% necessary experience. I can't recommend this enough :)

Life Is Strange consegue trazer um grande mundo sentimentalista e obscuro ao jogador. É inexplicável tamanha criatividade que a Square Enix teve com Life Is Strange.

This was probably the most unique choice-based game. This by far surpasses the story-telling of the tell-tale games. The ability to rewind time is amazing.

The cast is lovely (especially the two protagonists), the art of the game is enjoyable and for the most part the writing is solid and interesting. At the end of several episodes comes a scene that piques the curiosity of the player (stimulating trying to unravel the main mystery of the game) and as the game progresses there are good twists or memorable moments.

While acknowledging the criticism that player decisions may not interfere at the end of the game, I think the story is good enough to overcome this problem and the characters are amazing. I also think there are more "boring" scenes, like the part where you need to find bottles in the junkyard. And lastly, I understand that one end is much less elaborate and privileged than the other.

Life is Strange is simply the best game I've ever had the opportunity to play, I don't know how I had the opportunity to play something so amazing, wonderful and beautiful. No wonder Life is Strange is the best game I've ever played in my life and I say that with pride.

    And the end... No words...

Sicuramente un must play.

Sensacional.

Interesting game, really enjoyed sometimes tough choices. Would be 10/10 if a bit more difficult because it's more like interactive movie than a game.

There isn't much to say about this game, it plays like a telltale game when they were actually good only this kinda blows them out of the park.

It tells an engaging, thoughtful, provoking story centred around our protagonist Max who has developed reverse time powers. There's plenty of useless dialogue, and things to explore and look at but some of them giveway to things that come later.

There's plenty of useless dialogue, and things to explore and look at but some of them giveway to things that come later. A bible passage for example helps at a pivotal moment in Max's school life, which you'd never have thought possible when you came across it.

Honestly the game has more surprises than anything, I once took a random picture and a trophy popped without realising it. It draws you in, and there's enough action or something going on to keep you invested. It's a game that if it was a book, it'd be encouraged reading from teachers. It's something that will make you think, make you feel, and you'll have fun along the way.

Sure it's not that much different from a visual novel, but with tight camera controls, and a good mix of story and foundation for the little town bracing against an upcoming storm. It does much more than tell a story, or give a cheesy 1980's message. It points out vividly the good, the bad, the indifferent in people, in ourselves and in the characters it portrays. Nobody is a hero even with magical powers. Life just isn't as easily defined. Life is strange.

I couldn't go into much detail to avoid spoiling it for you. But the game does get dark. really dark in the last couple of chapters. I even expected more of a split at the end when the playstation revealed in a percentage of what other people picked. I stand by the decision i made in my playthrough, even after i saw the other choice.

A single choice you make, in life, shouldn't just be based on an outcome. It should be about everything that lead to that moment and beyond it; the good and the bad.

I bought this game long ago, I download it 3 times but never able to play through the first 30 mutinies, Because I thought that it is impossible that a choose-driven game could succeed with a system you can regret your choice. But it does! And it became my favorite game ever!

It's a 100% game for teenagers. When I've played it back in 2015 Life is Strange became like a friend to me. When you're 17 and the whole world is against you in real life you truly need something that can help you and say "it's no matter who you're, there always will be somebody to understand and help".

An honest, sometimes even painful, story about friendship and finding yourself. Life is Strange is played with a lump in the throat and its ability to make a grown man tear up is its true "power".

The Limited Edition of Life is Strange doesn’t introduce anything new. The graphics are the same, as well as individual episodes that form this wonderful adventure. The art book and soundtrack are still a nice plus that could push some collectors to purchase this edition.

Despite its obvious flaws the reactive story and compelling characters make this one of the best storytelling experiences of the current generation.
