La historia está guay, pero a mi el rollito no me va mucho, llega a tocar el cringe.

Besides the decent voice acting, Life is Strange is one of the most cringy, horribly written, and annoying games I've ever played. Hated almost everything about it.

Also these games need to stop with gameplay sections that have you wander around collecting items to progress. Finding beer bottles in a junk yard is not gameplay. Also I know that "your choices matter" is more of an illusion than anything, but this one ends up being a huge slap in the face. Expand

    1. How can you call this a game when your choices do not effect the end game? The end comes down to two choices that your past actions don't effect at all. It's a well animated and voice acted drama that you click through- NOT a game.
    2. What's the lesson or moral in this game? Trick question, there isn't one.
    3. Why does max have time to read posters but not rewind time sooner to prevent child suicide?! Isn't that the point of her powers?
    4. This game give the player so little agency that it just should have been a movie.
    5. I'm glad I didn't pay full price for it

    6. I'm in awe how positively reviewed this "game" is when it is a straight up lie about offering any agency to the player. Next time make a documentary.

This game is very dull and boring. Well it's low budget therefore I suppose you'll have to keep your expectation low. And that's what many people are doing. Not me.

This game is episodic. They know their game is short and lacking in content, therefore breaking it up into pieces or episodes will make it less obvious. What a joke. Are these people blind? Graphics are bad. Controls are

Graphics are bad. Controls are bad. Repeating scenes to lengthen the game. Omg. Main character is boring. Even the story at the start you would've already feel how boring it is. The tension is non existent. LOW BUDGET CR@P!!!

If you game alot, avoid Life is Strange. Because you'd know what a good is and what is lame. This game is like indie quality or even something you'd play on your phone... you know, those free games on Google Play... You'll have to force yourself to be emo to understand.... to immerse... to imagine...Shut up!! I don't have to force myself to do anything to know whether I like a game or not. If the game is bad, it's bad. I tell it as it is.

Do not believe the 10/10. A game like this??? How? Where is the honesty? With all the games out there..... Guys, avoid at all cost. Because this game will ruin your life. After playing life would not be strange anymore but life is regret.

I can’t believe this “game” has such a high rating. It’s so bad I literally threw it in the trash after playing the first episode. There doesn’t seem to be any conceivable way to die or lose the game – you’re just playing through a story about a bunch of losers who obviously will never make anything of themselves in their lives. I started this game expecting an amazing, emotional story. I finished this game rather having experienced a dull one that did not make me want keep playing one bit. I finished this game rather having experienced a dull one that did not make me want keep playing one bit. It is with great sadness I admit that the so called "cliffhangers" made me simply want to un-install the game for how unimpressive and predictable they were. The one thing that kept me glued to the screen was the (now clearly) overly positive impression people give this game. Having this said, there were only two moments that made me not give this game an even worse punctuation:
    1. The ending of chapter 3, which truly made me think about the game for the entire time I was not able to turn on my console again. "Is this when it gets interesting?", I wondered time and time again, until I simply had to start the game to find out. By the end of episode 4 I felt even worse by discovering the one true plot twist that kept me thinking about this pretty much had no consequence on the story whatsoever.
    2. The entirety of the fifth episode. This was the episode that made me truly impressed while playing the game. Like many people, I almost cried at the end. It truly has one of the saddest endings I've ever experienced.
Those two moments were great, but the first is only experienced, as mentioned, at the end of the 3rd episode. I'm talking about 3-4.25 hours of wasted time you could use while playing a better game or doing some else entirely (according to Square Enix, each episode lasts 2-2.5 hours). From that to the fifth episode, I welcome you to waste another 2-2.5 hours. We're looking at 5-6.75 hours of wasted time in such a monotonous game I won't gain back. Unless you are a true fan of the genre, I advise you not to make the same mistake.

This game tries to steal ideas of the TTG series like walking dead, but it lacks the details and drive TTG games have. I played Walking Dead twice already (all parts) but I cannot imagine, I would try this game ever again

PROs: - solving mystery - original idea of playing with time CONs: - hand drawn graphics seems like it is excuse for lack of graphics - story begins as too

    CONs:

    - hand drawn graphics seems like it is excuse for lack of graphics
    - story begins as too slow and shallow, in the 4th episode graduates with interesting twist, and finishing with nonsense gibberish in the 5th episode
    - bit unused potential of playing with time (gets interesting only in two or three points in the game
    - conversations get boring when you try to finish it the way you want and replaying all the talks again and again
    - usually choices you have to choose from seems unrealistic and completely out of logic

Overall it is kinda OK little game, which you might enjoy. But for me first half was annoying / boring and second half was pretty insane and pretty unlogical. Definitely would NOT play again.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Never have I been so angered by the ending of a video game. The entire point of the story is, "hey, you know that hours and hours upon gameplay you just went through? Yeah, you shouldn't have done any of that." There are some great moments throughout the game, but that is all undone at the end when the "right" choice is to undo everything you did, making the entire gameplay meaningless. Expand

    Most overrated game I know.

The college setting didn't appeal to me at all and the characters couldn't compensate for that either. We have the boring, shy and nerdy Max, the naive yet super annoying rebellious Chloe, and... oh, just complete the list with whatever clichéd students you can think of. I found the story completely predictable and at the same time not very believable.

Gameplay is pretty much non-existent, just running around listening to monologues about coffee machines and cameras. If the information about it was at least interesting or funny ... but no.

The only thing I can praise the game for: Decisions actually have noticeable consequences. However, that goes nowhere if they leave me absolutely cold emotionally because I can't stand the characters and I don't care about them.

An honest, sometimes even painful, story about friendship and finding yourself. Life is Strange is played with a lump in the throat and its ability to make a grown man tear up is its true "power".

The Limited Edition of Life is Strange doesn’t introduce anything new. The graphics are the same, as well as individual episodes that form this wonderful adventure. The art book and soundtrack are still a nice plus that could push some collectors to purchase this edition.

Despite its obvious flaws the reactive story and compelling characters make this one of the best storytelling experiences of the current generation.
