Mar 26, 2022The plot of the game is okay, but the playability is very poor. Basically, it is running and interacting with certain items, and the gameplay is very simple.

Dec 6, 2019I just cant believe that they wasted all that hard work. they did an amazing job in the first 4 seasons but ruined it with their last season. The ending where lame and most importantly there were no memorable music for it bc we all know that LIS is famous for its music and scenery.the only reason im giving it a 7 is bc of the first 4 seasons

Sep 16, 2022I love the first game but this is just not good. After Episode 3 it feels like the developers didn't know how to end this

Sep 15, 2021I still liked the game, despite being my least favorite Life is Strange game. Being on the move was exciting in its own way, as you constantly explore new locations. I was not a fan of babysitting Daniel all the time. However, I was pleased with the chosen ending, it brought a nice closure.

May 13, 2021Story was ok, but not having powers made it a little boring. Hyped for true colors.

Dec 9, 2019The graphic , locations , art style are ok . I liked the presence of multiple endings and the fact that choices really matters . But the story , main characters and themes don't work well .

Jun 22, 2020El juego en sí es bueno pero la historia le falta algo que te enganche tarde como 2 meses en terminarlo creo que le falta más carga gráfica para hacerlo más vistoso

Jul 12, 2020Pacing is really slow compared to the original, but the production quality is superior to Before the Storm. The story is not interesting enough to replay choices like the first one -- just watch the multiple endings on YouTube to save yourself the time. If you can picture LiS 1 but 2x to 3x slower with about 1/5th the number of side characters, you might like this sequel.

Jul 19, 2020The story starts of exciting followed by more boredom by chapter. The game has a cool concept yet the gameplay is not exciting what so ever.

Aug 14, 2022nowhere near as good as the first 2, but still interesting for the genre, i did feel the episodes drug on at times though. they try to touch on social issues at times, but it really just sort of comes off as cliche the way they do it. almost every time they try seems like the character they use is the standard stereotype of the select demographic they're addressing.

Sep 21, 2020Good: theme
bad: pointless choices, bad writing, train wreck by the end... Terrible. Feels like developers were trying to test some features. CHURCH CHAPTER IS THE WORST. -

Apr 12, 2021Anyone that enjoyed the original Life is Strange and opted not to give a chance to this sequel should reconsider right away. The story may not deliver the same impact or suspense, but this is a poignant narrative that many should find a degree of relatability to, with extremely likeable characters in the form of Sean and Daniel. With the full season discounted often and a new game on the horizon, this is a great time to journey south with the Diaz brothers.

Apr 10, 2020Different from its predecessor, Life is Strange 2 brings more political themes to the table. Protagonist Sean’s little brother Daniel has supernatural powers, but is too young to distinguish between good and evil, and it is up to the player how you want to guide him. While interesting in theory, this results in a gameplay experience based almost entirely on making decisions, and supernatural elements are not put into use as cleverly as in the original Life is Strange. This makes Life is Strange 2 feel like it lacks focus, because most of its political themes are not fleshed out enough, and the ones that do work don’t really need supernatural elements in the first place.

Playstation Official Magazine UKJan 9, 2020A refined followup with a totally new cast to fall in love with. You should absolutely play Life Is Strange 2. But you might want a box of tissues ready for the ending. [Issue#171, p.85]
