Sep 3, 2019Faith is Life Is Strange 2’s most engrossing, heart-wrenching episode and may likely stand as one of the best across of the entire franchise. What it lacks in gameplay, its excellent writing, wonderful performances by the cast, dramatic camera work and cinematic nature more than makes up for the deficit. It is how DONTNOD maturely handles sensitive subject matter like racism, belief, and family that makes this season feel far more grounded to a familiar reality than those before. As far as season finale lead-ins are concerned, Faith will have you counting the minutes until the anticipated conclusion.
-
Aug 29, 2019Life Is Strange 2 Episode 4: Faith brings back all the feels of the first episode in this compelling instalment that introduces you to the boys' mother and an evil cult that wants to exploit Daniel’s powers. Despite its short length, Faith does an excellent job in preparing for a phenomenal conclusion of the series.
-
Aug 27, 2019“Faith” continues Life is Strange 2’s examination of a broken system to showcase a series at its most powerful.
-
Aug 26, 2019Episode 4: Faith delivers a fantastic story-focused episode and sets up the perfect springboard for the Diaz brothers’ next stop of Puerto Lobos. Sean might have been battered, bruised and forever wounded by his scars, but Life Is Strange 2 charges to the finishing line with significant momentum behind it.
-
Sep 4, 2019Though the fourth episode of Life is Strange 2 is a bit more mellow in the process, you can still be on the edge of your seat when it comes to storytelling. This episode really puts the brain at work, touching upon subjects that cut right into the soul.
-
Sep 3, 2019Episode 4 has some of the most exciting, challenging and emotional moments seen in Life is Strange so far. It connects with the player in a way that other episodes haven't without losing the signature style and pace of the stellar series.
-
Sep 15, 2019This Episode 4 is probably the most hard-hitting episod from Life Is Strange 2. A black, dark world is now shiwing in plain sight right before Sean’s eyes and now we’re expecting a very strong finish. Great story-telling.
-
Sep 19, 2019As the penultimate chapter of the season, Life is Strange 2: Episode 4 brings the story to a head with several challenging situations.
-
Sep 10, 2019Dontnod once again delivers the goods, with a well-paced, thoroughly intriguing narrative. In the end, the result is perhaps a bit too repetitive to be truly great, and the same can be said about the game's animations. If you're into the story, though, you shouldn't be too bothered about this.
-
Sep 1, 2019Faith is a tough, methodically paced episode of Life is Strange 2. While the chapter could have used a little more direction, excellent character development sets the sequel on track for a strong finish.
-
Aug 30, 2019Episode 4 is a definite step forward though and the hints about what will happen in the fifth and final episode suggests it may be the most politically charged of all.
-
Aug 28, 2019We're going to the final episode. In this fourth one there are no surprises, but a lot of attention on dialogues and characters.
-
Aug 28, 2019The story is splendid and so is the music, photography is always on point... but on the technical side we’re far from the sufficience. Despite all the flaws, I have become attached to Sean and Daniel and I want to "help" them reach the Mexican border.
-
Aug 26, 2019The supernatural collides with reality under the guise of radical religion in a way that feels too cliche, but spending more time with Sean and his confidants remains a delight. Whether you're heading into the final episode in much the same place you were at the beginning--or under the chilling implications of a certain late game choice--watching Daniel wrap his arms around Sean in either circumstance exemplifies what makes the series work so well. Your Sean can be kind or standoffish, thieving or righteous, but your actions don't change the love and adoration between the Diaz brothers--and that love is still the heart and soul of Life Is Strange 2.
-
Sep 23, 2019Episode 4 is not like the others. This episode focuses on solitude, reflection and reconnection. It features some exiting moments but they come too late. Still. A good setup for a great ending.
