I am a huge fan of the Life Is Strange universe and I am reminded of this each time i play a new episode. There is a certain beauty in the writing that simply grabs you by the arm and pulls you in to the world. The narratives are heart felt and honest. You may not sometimes agree with which direction the story takes you but hey, that's the point, life works in strange ways. I simply can't get enough of this world. With episode two i was eager to see how Sean & Daniels story would link with the Captain Spirit story arch and it doesn't disappoint! Of course, there might be a very sad and perhaps shocking moment (most people will know what I'm talking about) but it's short lived and it's in there for valid reasons. You move on and push forward. Because that's all you can do. Nothing is perfect in life. Except maybe this game. Expand

I thought Ep 2 was reasonably more fleshed out than the first and thankfully brought me some relief from the "endless road trip" vibe I got in Ep 1. Without going into spoilers, a good chunk of the episode is devoted to building and managing your relationships with not only Daniel but other characters as well (something I thought Ep 1 was severely lacking). Though it doesn't quite build up on the first episode's potential, Life is Strange 2's second episode offers several compelling moments.

Though the story of the Diaz-brothers is still interesting, the action in this second episode is getting slow. The game gets a little bit boring, so hopefully the story and action will pick up big time in the next episode.

Episode 2: Rules is a fantastic experience and continues to build on Dontnod’s reputation as the king of episodic gaming. Life Is Strange 2 has the potential to mesmerize players with its three remaining episodes and become a worthy contender for 2019’s GOTY (despite the first episode being released in 2018, of course).
