    Whilst I loved the meditations on life and identity, the game never really felt polished enough to avoid detracting from the overall experience. It is by no means a bad game, but ends up as perhaps the very epitome of average.

    Carves out its own unique place in the metroidvania genre, largely thanks to its whimsical take on presentation, puzzle-solving, and narrative.

    I started Last Stitch Goodnight unimpressed with its attempts at humour but after four and a half hours of basic yet varied combat, unique boss battles and intriguing story, I finished with a much more positive outlook.
