    Desperate for answers, you leave Gulbrand in charge of your kingdom to trek out to the other six Kingdoms of Lera and reopen the Spires; the other kings willing or not.

    The journey back takes you three years.

    And when you arrive you do not recognize your own kingdom.

    At its core its a fun and stimulating experience, although it's plagued by its technical shortcomings and the absence of challenge from a certain point in the experience.

    Don’t listen to that negative **** I got this game on PS4 and it has not crashed on me once and I have not gotten stuck in walls either. So maybe that guy is purposely trying to break the game like a nimrod. This game has good gameplay, great variety of weapons like doom games, no hand holding, challenging which is nice, awesome lore and story, very doom'ish/souls'ish/Hexen. This game may have a couple mini minor bugs that don’t hinder it at all, like mammoths falling from the sky in Skyrim. And if you get stuck on landscape or something then reload and avoid that area. I didn’t start screaming or whining like a little **** **** when I got stuck on a mountain in Skyrim, instead I reloaded my game and didn’t go back over there end of story. This game was awesome and a excellent buy! 10/10!!!… Expand

    This is a very old school style of game in my opinion, other people on the internet have said this looks like hexen, as well as doom, skyrim,This is a very old school style of game in my opinion, other people on the internet have said this looks like hexen, as well as doom, skyrim, and kings field. i have not played kings field so i can't say anything about that, but this very much does look like a modern hexen sprinkled with skyrim, and a pinch of doom.

    PROS:

    The combat in the game is quite fun, its simplistic, but offers a challenge. combat revolves around utilizing blocking to cancel a blow after it lands to have faster follow up attacks. its very interesting, but it works well. using this technique with dodging is vital to winning in combat.

    Tons of weapons, swords, axe, hammer, magic staffs, bows, a special explosive heart. you are always getting new weapons throughout the game.

    There is a ton of enemies in this game, large variety. from dragons to skeletons to zombies to weird creepy giant pig things. there is one enemy that is literally half a torso with just a spine and skull. its quite disturbing.

    Graphically its great! fantastic atmosphere, with some truly stunning levels, looks great on a base PS4. easily one of the best looking indie games i've seen. also runs pretty decent as well. although if there is lots of enemies spawned into the current map it does have FPS drops.

    Does not hold your hand, i like this, basically no tutorial, no map, enemies can gang raped you if your not careful. you start off with only 50 health (which can be upgraded to 200 if you can find all the health upgrades), and is just generally a challenge. speaking of which there is 4 difficulties, peasant, knight, king, and deity.

    Soundtrack is freaking great!

    You can change the FOV, 83 to 113 weird numbering but hey it works. so if you want to play this game like quake you can. and you can completely turn off the HUD so that nice!

    New game+, allows you to playthrough the game again with all weapons and upgrades from the start. its nice cause there is lot of games nowadays that launch without new game+ (COUGH death stranding COUGH..... sorry), and there is cheats, infinite ammo and invincibility. running through the game with cheats on and new game plus is really fun!

    CONS:

    The game is not perfect, there is some problems, sometimes ladders are a bit wonky, AI sometimes get stuck on things, some people have stated they have had freezing problems on certain levels and/or crashing, i personally have not experience any of these.

    Some slight animation problems.

    Some of the voice acting is kinda eh.

    Overall the game is quite good, i have had a good time playing it. some of the games problems i can forgive considering it was made by 1 guy. And yes it was made by 1 guy, including the soundtrack!    … Expand

Das Kampfsystem ist totaler **** Verbugte hitboxen, man selber hat Tonnen von I frame's man ist quasi unverwundbar NACH dem dodgen, obwohl Angriffe noch reinkommen. Es gibt kein Inventar. Alles was man sammelt sieht man nicht bzw weiß nichtmal was man damit anfangen kann und wofür es überhaupt ist. Das Spiel freezes öfter, Fortschritte gehen dadurch dauernd flöten. Kein lv up system oder skill baum etc. Nur ein Waffenrad xD Die Gegner sind immer die gleichen. Kein Content. Das Spiel muss dringend überarbeitet werden. 50€ sind eine Frechheit!! Ich empfehle dringend dieses Spiel so wie es jetzt ist nicht zu kaufen. Nicht für diesen Preis.… Expand
