    Kingdom Hearts 3 is a solid RPG. The hack-n-slash game play is very enjoyable and I really liked taking some time off from the story by just wander and explore the world, finding collectibles and treasure chests. For me, the story is a bit complex, since I didn't follow or remember what happened in the titles before. Unfortunately, the time gap 14 years since Kingdom Hearts 2 was releasedKingdom Hearts 3 is a solid RPG. For me, the story is a bit complex, since I didn't follow or remember what happened in the titles before. Unfortunately, the time gap 14 years since Kingdom Hearts 2 was released is a bit too big. Nevertheless the story is gripping and diving into the various worlds with their typical graphic styles is very refreshing.
    The only bit that, to me, was annoying that there is no seperate sound setting for sound / music volume. There is only the setting for Master Volume which means, you can't get a break from the background music.
    All in all a great successor! Would buy again!    … Expand

    Most of the fans were aware of these bad reviews. Either from it being leaked and spoiling it for everyone before the game releases so they give it bad reviews for knowing everything that happens or from share lack of knowledge because they didn't invest time into the other games.

If you have not played the other titles then in my opinion you have no right to review this game. playing this game without knowing the backstories and reviewing it is the equivalent of someone trying to understand a series after only watching its 6th season. This story feels like its mainly around the Back Cover movie that comes with the 2.8 remix id say, just watching that will give you enough to go on, but for the fans who have played the other games they will understand references alot better and have a better understanding.

    now with that all covered. The graphics are stunning and beautiful, i honestly couldnt believe how beautiful it looks, it reminded me much of 0.2 in terms of graphic and fighting style system. I feel like the combat system is much better than it was in the demo, people often complained about the combat being "floaty" while in the air. It has been fixed from what i have experienced and skipping "Attractions" is now also a option. Attractions in the game can be activated by simply fighting with enemies, you may have multiple attractions or actions you can activate and you can cycle through them as well just incase you wanted to keep one for a specific occasion ( but they do have timers until they dissapear so use them before it runs out ) i think SE had the mindset of making this game feel very fun than anything else and they definatley nailed that aspect with this game being so visually stunning and making you smile from its animations and flashy moves. They really tried making sora feel very strong but at the same time hit the child inside of us all in making us feel very happy from seeing all the disney and pixar worlds.

    In terms of the keyblades i think this is depending on your playstyle. I personally only had 2 that fit the playstyle that i prefered. The Everafter blade you get early on and i basically used that for over 95 percent of my playthrough. although you can now wield 3 keyblades at one time, them all being useful is a different story, but once again that is just my playstyle and is different per person.

    The gummi ship is really fun adding now a exploring aspect of it where you can not just create and build your ship like in previous games but can now explore using it which was a bit weird at first but it did slowly grow on me.

    i didnt give this game a 10 even tho i deeply think it may deserve it. Its worlds are amazing and 1 in particular being so huge in comparison to the others which i called Assassins Creed Black Caribbean. its just a shame alot of the other worlds didnt hit the amazement you would have hoped. Dont get me wrong there is amazing and stunning worlds filled with amazing things to do, but some were a little underwhelming and could have used some more love. Its unfortunate that most of the trailers and leaks showed off all the worlds and kinda left you knowing what to expect and that hurt it in the reviews as you would expect.

    If you're a kingdom hearts fan this is a must by in my opinion. If you're not and have not played or not know much about the story then you will be confused and underwhelmed. If you would like to have a good idea what is going on i could suggest playing 2.8 remix 1 and 2 as well. But if you're short on time id suggest just watch Back Cover which comes with 2.8.

    People who have given this bad reviews don't deserve to review this game as they have no clue about the story. And therefore cannot review it, It was made for the fans and for the people who know what is going on in the series, if you don't know what is going on your review doesn't hold much value.    … Expand

    I played them all, every single side game. 358/2 Days, Birth By Sleep, Re:coded, Dream Drop Distance, and Fragmentary Passage. All these games were created (especially Birth By Sleep) with the intent of making the world of Kingdom Hearts bigger so that III could feel like 'the ultimate payoff' to longtime fans like myself... And it most definitely was. As a fan of this series 17 years, andI played them all, every single side game. 358/2 Days, Birth By Sleep, Re:coded, Dream Drop Distance, and Fragmentary Passage. All these games were created (especially Birth By Sleep) with the intent of making the world of Kingdom Hearts bigger so that III could feel like 'the ultimate payoff' to longtime fans like myself... And it most definitely was. As a fan of this series 17 years, and a fan dedicated enough to play a decade's worth of side games just to learn any bits of story the creator could possibly have to tell me... I feel the payoff so strongly. I cried so many times, usually with a big stupid grin on my face. Some scenes literally took my breath away and left me speechless, and others I outright applauded just after seeing them. This is one of those moments in life I feel, "Thank God I'm alive in a time where ___". The blank here, is Kingdom Hearts III.

    Aside from a fantastic conclusion to the Xehanort Saga, the graphics were amazing and compelling. The gameplay was out of this world with a fantastic collection of everything the series has built thus far all in one package. And the soundtrack was easily their best yet, with both a lot of original music I loved and beautiful redos of some of my favorite tracks. I have no complaints in the slightest, save maybe that Pooh's world could have had more interesting mini games, but they made up for that with several other mini games throughout the worlds so I'll let that pass. I am content now and will be for a long time much like I was with II, and when IV is finally announced, I look forward to speculating what a brand new story could be!    … Expand

    I'm speechless... I really don't know how they pulled it off, but this game is something really special. I already had high expectations and this game exceeded them all by a landslide. The story, gameplay, music... everything is **** fantastic
    I would give it higher than a 10 if I could, but that's the highest score I can give.

    I really like how many Disney Chars are in that Game. Also I have to say it looks really good but not perfect. More like a late PS3 early PS4 Game but still very nice. But there is another thing. This game is not very hard so maybe you won't like it if you want a cute Dark Souls.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Kingdom hearts 3 should only be played by fans of the series. Anyone else will be lost even if you listened to that character with an annoying voice tell you a short summary of the story.

    The story was really bad in a lot of the game but I liked that it was closing all the loops in it. Almost all of the Disney worlds were badly written and didn't have any flow.

    In the Hercules world, the Danny Devito character doesn't talk and just smirks and smile while he was always the talkative one which was so weird to see. Also in the Hercules world, after you save the little girl, she bends over like she's bowing as a thank you. To me the people who made the game did that because of their asian culture. I personally feel that one shouldn't change the way a western movie is, they should just be trying to imitate it the best that they can.

    The toy story world is also really bad. It felt like someone wrote the script for the characters without actually watching the movies. And, they were all written really badly. The levels were pretty bad game design wise and they didn't feel real. And a lot of the toys were so asian influenced with mecha dinosaur things and anime-like plushes and dolls.

    Tangled was really good, I must say.

    Frozen was just "Let's just put the 2 songs that everyone likes and were basically done with this story." The pacing of the story was really bad for this one as even I was lost at what was happening.

    Why is pirates of the carribean in the game? And, why is it one of the last Disney worlds? And, collecting crabs to upgrade your ship??? Are you kidding me??? I kept telling myself when playing this world "wtf am I playing, this is a kingdom hearts game? Collecting crabs?" The ship part was pretty cool but it felt like that was the only reason why they had to make this world to play. Also, Sora has bigger problems to worry about but all this guy wants to do is go on an adventure and be a pirate. Inconsistent writing yet again. Unrealistic writing for a character, especially for a main character.

    Big hero was done probably the best in my opinion. The only real problem that I had was that a lot of the lip sync felt like it wasn't matching. It felt like they didn't even try and just kept the asian lip sync animation and just put the dub over it. But this is actually what happens a lot in the game.

    I want to talk about the good things. I liked the gameplay as it was fun to play. I liked a lot of the models and the design of the worlds. The music was also really good.

    I would like to talk about the bad stuff.

    The story could have ended with these characters but they clearly want to milk the series. The problem that I have is that they couldn't save Kairi when they were all around her so what makes Sora think that he can save her? All the bad guys ever do is teleport and take people. It's absolutely ridiculous.

    Too much teleporting lore dumps. That's literally all they ever do in this series since kh2 I believe. It's bad writing, stop.

    The models are inconsistent with some models looking near perfect to their movie counterpart like Mike from monster Inc, where main characters like Donald and goofy having noticeable sharp edges of the model. It's bad. Just look at some of the characters that you meet and you'll see. Like why does Sully look so bad? The hair on him is laughable. Also the witch from the sleeping beauty looks so bad and she did nothing the entire game. Waste of characters and her and Pete are absolutely useless.

    Too much of Sora saying how friends can do anything and stuff. Its gotten to the point where I am so tired of hearing him say those cheesy lines. I'm so sick of hearing him just trying to be friends with everyone and being like all we need is friends to save the day when it never actually does.

    Models look weird in general for a lot of the characters. Sora looks fine as in next gen but Riku looks weird and a lot of the other characters do as well. The design of the models in dream drop were perfect. How could they not have just done the same thing but make them appear older? Also, I don't like their clothes design. It's stupid.

    And that reminds me. Sora questions Donald and goofy on why they look like monsters. Bad writing 101, cause we already went through this before in the past games where it was explained that their magical clothes changes them to fit in the other worlds.

    The voice acting was bad in a lot of areas of the game.

    All npcs sound quiet. Also there was no option to increase dialogue voices, music, or sfx.

    The link system is dumb and the characters look holographic which is dumb too. When I use stitch or Ariel, I expect them to be accurate to their original design. Because these skills are linked to mp, the entire link skill is useless.

    I used the 1st gummy ship the entire playthrough.

    They should have ended the series.

    I'm never going to buy another KH game again. I'm done with the milking of the series.    … Expand

I skipped the second half of all of the Frozen cutscenes because it was just a retelling of the movie with no bearing on the rest of the game.* When it's fun, it's quite fun.     The game is incredibly fun but has some annoying flaws, some of which can be fixed in an eventual FM.
    These flaws are: -Everything is way too easy, even on Proud -Keyblade variety is kind of lacking, especially considering the number of reskins -Attraction Flow takes too long and by end game you will only wait for it to run out so    Couldn't decide on 8 or 9, went with 9 in the end.
    The game is incredibly fun but has some annoying flaws, some of which can be fixed in an eventual FM.

    Kingdom hearts was the first game i ever managed to finish on playstation 2 in and i loved it so much. I never got an opportunity to play the second game till much later in 2014. I only played the other games in 2017 but it always held a special pace in my heart.     This is honestly the best game i have ever played. i loved every second of my playthrough and i love the way the spirit of Disney and the kingdom hearts franchise was captured in this game. The happy go lucky attitude of Sora alongside his friends is a strong affirmation that there is artistic merit in games which aren't morose or outright scary which is the common trend at the moment. The story built up beautifully and there were plenty of surprises which firmly distinguished it from other entries. Thank you so much to all the developers for this wonderful game. I'm really looking forward to the next game and I hope it comes soon because i will be first in line to continue supporting this beautiful franchise, but until then i will be replaying Kingdom Hearts 3 till 2020!    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. great fun, great end of story (really think it should be the end even tho we already know there's more coming), but there's problems. some disney-related problems, i guess. the worlds (most of them) are smaller than they should, or not enough related to the movie (really, toy story was kinda frustrating. final fantasy people not been around too, or eeyore, one of my favourite characters of everything... idk, i blame it all on disney

    The game isn't the best in the series. However it is still a fun blast with an interesting story that pays off if your a long time fan. The combat although not terribly hard is still fun and the worlds are even more expansive and fun. Overall great game with a bit of missed potential in some areas

That aside, the gameplay, characters, stories and graphics are, one word, phenomenal. I can't remember the last time I played a game for 7+ hours in one sitting or the last time I felt a genuine excitement for playing a game ORHonestly can't express how amazing this game is. I've been a longtime fan, having played Kingdom Hearts as a teenager so the throwback element is cathartic for me. That aside, the gameplay, characters, stories and graphics are, one word, phenomenal. I can't remember the last time I played a game for 7+ hours in one sitting or the last time I felt a genuine excitement for playing a game OR the last time a game made me think "this, this is why I love gaming".     KH3 is the most fun game I have in years, we dont have this kind of game anymore, more of games nowadays trying so hard to be realistic, to be more like real world, but they forgot that game suppose to make you forget about the real world, games suppose to make you immerse in a mysterious new world, and KH3 deliver that perfectly :)

    People may complain about the incomprehensible story, lack of difficulty and weird pacing. However, Kingdom Hearts 3 is not about that, except for the convoluted story but that is one of the main draws of the series and not following the other games can only put the person to guilty and not the series as a whole. The new Disney worlds are the best in the entire series, offering a great balance of combat and exploration, and some of them bring new original stories instead of the usual "rehash the movie's story". The writing in this game is also one of it's strongest points, being remarkably solid with an actual humor (previous games attempted such thing but never quite succeeded and it felt too shoe-horned in).

    The combat is, as many people say, quite easy and that may lead to a boring playthrough. However, as someone who loves to experiment with the mechanics of the game I found that KH3 doesn't encourages X mashing as much as the other games and wants you to unleash everything out. It turns each fight to it's own show of sparkles and spells. Considering that enemy sworms are bigger than before and enemies have more HP you will need all the tools to bring them down quickly. Now that critical mode is out I seriouslt want to see people complaining about no challenge (it's arguably the hardest the series has been).

    The series will never grow with it's fans and that isn't a bad thing! Just remember that your past memories will never leave you and let them take you to a nostalgia dance with familiar friends.    … Expand

    As a big KH fan, I love this game. It's just pure fun and fan-service for the fans. The worlds are well-made, the gameplay is addictive and innovative and I just love seeing the trinity trio again after so long. Definitely one of the best KH game

    It is hard not to be at the very least excited for one of the most anticipated games of the past decade. While I myself am a new fan of kingdom hearts, I have grown to love this series, and after having played every single one, seeing the story unfold, my excitement for kingdom hearts 3 sky rocketed. But does kingdom hearts 3 deliver? Well yes it indeed does and exceeds this. KingdomIt is hard not to be at the very least excited for one of the most anticipated games of the past decade. While I myself am a new fan of kingdom hearts, I have grown to love this series, and after having played every single one, seeing the story unfold, my excitement for kingdom hearts 3 sky rocketed. But does kingdom hearts 3 deliver? Well yes it indeed does and exceeds this. Kingdom hearts 3 is a magical and most action packed adventure sora and the gang have been on yet, not to mention the most gorgeous. The use of the unreal engine 4 shines to make each cut scene, each action sequence, and every interaction memorable, it is almost hard to believe the visual fidelity that kingdom hearts 3 has at times. The writing takes a better approach, with jokes landing more often than not, and some truly emotional, while also cheesy scenes, however the writing captures the best of kingdom hearts cheese and all. The gameplay is the best the series has to offer as well! From flow motion from ddd, to the shotlocks from birth by sleep the combat takes the best from the series and enhances it also introducing its own original ideas. The combat is so vast that often times more often than not each encounter can have completely different ways of play. Another thing is enemy variety, each world has unique enemies and figuring out the best strategy makes kingdom hearts 3 all the more enjoyable. This is a satisfying conclusion to the story that began in kingdom hearts 1 and I am thoroughly eager to see where the series goes in the future, Kingdom hearts 3 is one of the best games of recent years, and is without a doubt the best in the series.     My firs impressions are really good. Great characters and fun gameplay. If this is your first KH then there is an option that they will fill you in on there earlier stories. But basically it's just dark vs light. In short it's an amazing game!

    Kingdom Hearts III is a masterpiece. Square Enix has done the impossible by bringing these Disney worlds to life, refining the combat, and creating these truly jaw-dropping graphics. It may have been a long wait, but it all paid off. 10/10

    Dear god I do not understand absolutely any of the hate for this game. For someone who has been following kingdom hearts since the beginning, this game is pure fan service. There are PLENTY of nods to kh1, ddd, and kh2. This game is absolutely incredible in every way shape and form. My only gripe is that the game is a bit too easy but this can easily be patched. All in all, 10/10 masterpiece

    A perfectly fine game with fun gameplay, beautiful world and likeable cast of characters which falls a bit short from it potential. It is the least immersive game of the series due to the story structure and some questionable combat mechanics and balancing. Overall, still a great game to play if you want something fun adn charming.

    When it comes to its technical aspects KH3 is TOP. But, story wise is pitiful at best. Nomura needs to let FF13Versus go, otherwise Remind would have been even better. Also, I have to add that the game is an 8 now that it has Remind, I probably give the game alone a 6 or so.

The gameplay is fast and addicting, and finding collectibles never feels tedious or tacked on, I always try to find everything. The story may not be friendly for newcomers. Personajes con mucho carisma y potencial como antes habíamos visto en la saga, Sora, Riku, Aqua, Axel, etc. En el apartado sonoro, como ya es habitual, nos encontramos con temas increíbles para cada mundo Disney, y una banda sonora de diez. Visualmente muy bonito y capaz, cuidado hasta el más mínimo detalle.     Cuarta vez que me borras la critica, voy a seguir poniéndola por mas que queráis inflar la nota.

    Es una realidad que cualquiera que haya puntuado con una nota superior al 7 a este juego, o le han pagado, o no ha jugado mas de 2 horas. Vamos a empezar por lo básico, han pasado 13 años desde la segunda entrega, son una realidad muy dura para un juego que parece haberse realizado en un    Cuarta vez que me borras la critica, voy a seguir poniéndola por mas que queráis inflar la nota.

    Es una realidad que cualquiera que haya puntuado con una nota superior al 7 a este juego, o le han pagado, o no ha jugado mas de 2 horas.

    Vamos a empezar por lo básico, han pasado 13 años desde la segunda entrega, son una realidad muy dura para un juego que parece haberse realizado en un año deprisa corriendo.

    Empecemos por lo ÚNICO bueno de esta valiente basura de juego, los gráficos/fluidez del juego. No pega tirones en casi ningún momento, va super fluido y los fps son constantes. Aun con todo eso, es el primer juego que en mi ps4 pro se ha "cerrado inesperadamente" cosa que no entiendo, ya que no corre los mejores gráficos del mercado ni mantiene una cantidad de enemigos en pantalla desorbitada(salvo en el final). Esto es lo ÚNICO en lo que parece que han dedicado mas de un mes de desarrollo.

    En lo que a los combates se refiere, un gorila con unos bongos conectados a la consola serian capaces de pasarse este juego. La CONSTANTE aparición del comando "triángulo" es como poco UNA BROMA DE MAL GUSTO, un combate consiste en aporrear el botón X hasta el momento que aparece la opción del triángulo, que son como 2 segundos de combate, después de eso, aparece como 2 o 3 veces mas, en caso de ser un combate largo evidentemente, en caso de ser un combate del montón, termina al momento y a continuar la historia.

    La construcción de escenarios es una vergüenza, literalmente en boca de Tetsuya Nomura íbamos a tener menos mundos por que los que teníamos iban a ser mas grandes y mejores. VAYA TOMADURA DE PELO,los mundo NO son mas grandes, y lo peor de todo es que son lineales,hasta había mas desarrollo en ciudad de paso en el KH1 que en cualquier mundo de esta mie*** que llaman juego.

    Lo poco que salva el juego son las cosas secundarias, como el hecho de las referencias a versus XIII, el cactilio y el tema de las fotos y la cocina. Aun así, donald y goofy se encargan de que este juego hecho para niños de 8 años sea mas fácil cada segundo que pasa y te dicen cada medio paso lo que tienes que hacer o donde buscarlo.

    Los personajes. Madre mía, como explicar esto sin ponerme a insultar a nadie. ES LA PEOR CONSTRUCCIÓN DE PERSONAJES DESDE ESCUADRON SUICIDA. Al empezar el juego, evidentemente vuelven a robarte tus poderes para justificar que seas un inútil otra vez, cosa que no me pareció mal, pero SORA TIENE YA 15 AÑOS O 16 O YO QUE COJ*** SÉ, POR QUE PARECE QUE TODO EL MUNDO HA MADURADO MENOS EL, HASTA EL MALDITO GOOFY PARECE UNA PERSONA ADULTA. No hay manera de justificar que sora sea igual de infantil que Ash Ketchum, no solo sus respuestas, si no su manera de interactuar y todo, es VERGONZOSO. Axel ha pasado de ser el mejor personaje de la franquicia a una especie de pobre patán que no sabe ni que está haciendo, ojalá le hubiesen dejado muerto. La justificación de los elegidos de la oscuridad es lamentable, muchos de ellos están ahí por que no hay prácticamente mas que relleno en todos los juegos que hay entre el kh2 y el kh3, y como no querían alargar el juego presentando personajes nuevos, PUES POR QUE NO!, HAGAMOS UN REFRITO DE LOS ENEMIGOS QUE YA HEMOS MATADO 35 VECES, Y POR QUE NO, REVIVIVAMOS ALGUNOS SIN ABSOLUTAMENTE NINGUNA JUSTIFICACIÓN, TOTAL, TAN SOLO HAN PASADO 13 AÑOS!!!!. Voy al siguiente punto por que aquí podría estar 1 día entero y me duele el corazón y nunca mejor dicho de estar escribiendo esto sobre algo que ha marcado mi juventud.

    La historia. Tampoco voy a hacer un drama de esto, KH es una saga con una historia que no da para mucho más, tampoco era lo que más me gustaba de los anteriores, pero antes al menos se justificaba por el desconocimiento de lo que ocurría, pero por ser algo concretos, los mundos de disney son prácticamente como ver las películas, enredados y frozen son un claro ejemplo, no haces nada mas que ver la película en tercera persona, es como si sora viese las películas, no aporta NADA. y ya para ir al siguiente punto, el final es insultante, con el final del kh1 LLORÉ la primera vez, la mezcla de emociones y música es muy bonito, aquí ni siquiera te saca una sonrisa.

    Pero sin lugar a duda, lo peor de todo el juego, es su duración, no alcanza ni las 50 horas jugando despacio, y mas de la mitad son cinematecas que NO CUENTAN NADA. El juego es así, un combate contra 3 pringados, cinematica, 2 combates, cine*, cine*, cine*, un combate que no aporta nada, 3 cine* y así las 50 horas.

    Ah cierto, no hay acto de presencia de NADA relacionado con Square, es disney 100%, ni un solo personaje de FFantasy,ni nada. PATÉTICO.

    Hacer está crítica me duele muchísimo y ha sido la única razón de crearme la cuenta en esta página, por que ver como medios y niños puntual este juego como un 10 es DOLOROSO    … Expand

Theirs so much to think about with this game, which people don't think about. This is a sequel in the public's eyes to a 13 year old game. This game needed more Disney to sell copies, square did awful last year in terms of sales when it comes to just cause and tomb raider. Whatever kingdom hearts decides to do in the future will make sense. My only real complaint that I don't think they will fix later is the fact that sora runs too fast, which is the whole reason the game feels so fast. The worlds feel like they fly by because you're moving faster than sonic does in his own games sometimes. Almost all of the 100 bad reviews of this game are people who are mad because it does not have the content that they expected because they had only played the final mixes of the games.     I've not finished yet but so far I'm having a blast, I love almost everything about it, a few little details seem unpolished like the walk/run animation but other than that it's a must have for every fan of good action RPG. Enjoy my friends :P

    This is a game I and many others have been waiting over 10 years to play and it is still as fun as past entries. The combat is fun and has responsive controls. The story still has me hooked to this day, it may be all over the place but it is enjoyable as long as you paid attention to the other games.

Twilight Town is only 2 areas and 100 acre wood is literally only Rabbit's house where you play the same mini game 3 times. Another disappointment was the FF characters (Squall, Cid, Cloud, etc.) were all taken out for some reason. Great game but it feels like it is missing important characters for what is the final game in the Xehanort saga.    … Expand

    It's the game I was waiting for. Kingdom Hearts is one of the most emotional and brilliant games ever made! I keep playing the game since the very first one, and I felt really happy with all the evolution of the whole series! We have one of the most exciting ends of ever! The combat is superb, the soundtrack makes you wanna cry and de story, well, it's kind hard to keep up, but it's beautiful!

    I was hoping for more of a finality on the series but the ending left me feeling like we'll see another game in about 10 years or so... I loved what I played but I feel like the series needs to come to a close. 8/10, will be buying the next game on the PS6 I guess.

    Also you'll see many poor misguided folks saying "I was the biggest kh fan the game is trash" they're lying if you see a review like this just run, and yeah remind is out so the game is just the best kh game at this point.

    Kingdom hearts 3 is a masterpiece! When I played kingdom hearts 3 I didn’t think it would be able to live up to the hype, and surpasse Kingdom Hearts 2 in my opinion but it did! Nomura did a excellent job wrapping up the Xehanort saga!

    Fantastic, I'm only a few hours in but the combat is super engaging, the clunky mobility of early Kingdom Hearts games is completely forgotten in light of some of the most enjoyable movement I've ever experienced in a 3rd-person game, and the graphics are beautiful. I can't get over how fantastic and varied the abilities in this game are, I'm confident I'm not even close to seeing them all and there are already dozens of good ways to win any given fight, it's incredible.     Totally worth it!! Nostalgic moments indeed, same Kingdom hearts that we love!! I just hope it had more Worlds, but well still a 10/10 for me. I'll give it an 11/10 if more Final Fantasy characters are present, That's the only thing lacking it.

    The most unconditional fun I've had on a game in a while, masterpiece. Stunning, eye-watering visuals throughout. Fantastic sound. Plays brilliantly. Engaging, complex, exciting story and combat. I can't stop playing it. It doesn't stop being good! I can't find fault with this game 10/10! Must play for jrpg fans.

    My favorite game so far this year.I love exploring the disney worlds. It is created with great details. I love the characters and the conclusion of the game. Truly, one of the best KH game I've ever played

    I am somewhat disappointed that there's no Final Fantasy characters in the series anymore, being a big fan of Final Fantasy and the series starting out with the appeal of FF characters crossover with Disney, but I get it. The games became such a big thing on its own and added so many unique characters of their own to substitute, that the FF characters no longer have a place in that universe. Also, FF is saturated with crossovers in all the other recent FF games now, so besides maybe one or two FF superbosses, it's probably a good thing there is no FF characters in KH anymore.

    Aside from that, the combat is super fun with the transformation keyblades, there are a lot of mini games to play and things to do for side content. I'm going to go back myself and do all the side content now, maybe try to unlock the secret ending, and all that fun stuff. It's definitely worth the full price if you're holding back and waiting for a price drop.    … Expand

It does get a little disorienting to see the old graphics in flashbacks, but it's in no way a detriment to the game. In fact, it does more to show how far the graphics have come in a single leap.

    But the reason we're all here is closure, and guess what? You'll get about 99% of the closure you're asking for. Think of a character arc you want completed- yes. It finishes. Well, almost all of them. Isa and Lea are clearly going to have a bigger role in the next game.

    What's that? Next game? Yes, KH3 is the conclusion to the Xehanort Saga, not the series as a whole. Union X introduced a ton of new plot elements that still need addressing, and an entirely new plot element is alluded to by Isa and Lea regularly. But hey, we get to see Luxu's face.

    For gameplay, lets say Im not player that immedietly goes for hard/critical mode. I fully enjoyed standard difficulity, which fully lets you enjoy story. If you prefer challenge there´s always hard mode, maybe in future they will even add critical. Lets not forget this game was meant for all age categories a bit easier difficulity was to be expected. Sora´s movements looks natural and fights are fun, with added abilities each keyblade has different even more.

    As some complained about „old graphics“ I can´t agree on that. Game has awesome coat and every emotion on Soras face just makes you feel all of it with him, two worlds meets in this game (cartoon and anime) and uses best of both of those to the fullest.

    SQ didn´t disappoint and KH 3 is succes. Only dissappointment are some critics, I don´t really understand how u can critize a game with story based on friendship, hearts and darkness for what its based on. Its same as critize Batman for being too dark, u just can´t expect Batman to be bright, shiny and smiling from ear to ear.
    Hope new generation will throw prejudices away and gives this series a try for this series deffinetly deserves it. (Please excuse mistakes, english isn´t my native language)    … Expand

    This game is really good, excellent soundtrack, really fun gameplay and best worlds in the saga so far. There are also some funny easter eggs. Worth the wait and the money

Sora is overpowered which is ironic as he is supposed to be "Regaining his lost strength" and as a main character now is really one dimensional (simple in a bad way) and most of the main groups dialogue is hard to get through. Some cutscenes are so long winded, filled with exposition, and badly written that it kills a lot of the moments between fighting. There are really nice charming moments here and there (Tangled world has some great moments in particular) but over all it feels like a constant info dump.

    Sometimes Sora, Donald, and Goofy don't even really feel like they are apart of the world (Frozen in particular). The story just plays out like normal with the gang slightly off to the side saying things while the main characters in the world just do the same thing they did in the movie. Another problem is some worlds really make you rely on your knowledge of the movie (Tangled is really bad with this) and sloppily deliver exposition just to get people to understand why characters are doing things.

    The first game was truly simple and clean, it really had an identity. This game doesn't know if it wants to cater to the standard hero's journey that anyone can enjoy or be the complex multilayered story we've come to expect from a Final Fantasy game.     The wait was worth it Nomura and the team have pulled it ofg and delivered a masterpiece. This is now my new favourite game ever. It deserves an 11/10 story, worlds graphics and the ost all blew me away i cried 6 times throughout the game

    Kingdom Hearts III doesn’t go in the direction some RPG fans will no doubt have been hoping for. It’s unashamedly over the top in just about every way, from its barmy story and stunning presentation to its huge cinematic battles. There’s plenty of depth here too, though you’ll need to find your bearings first.

    There is no doubt that Kingdom Hearts III will make long term fans moved or even cry. As for those new to the franchise, I believe they also can be satisfied because of tons of classic Disney elements and solid combat system, even though they could barely understand the main story.
