The tension ratchets unbelievably high, and the simple act of peeking around a corner can lead to coronary trauma when you realize that something is standing right behind you. Like any good rollercoaster ride, Killing Floor Incursion delivers the chills and the fun in equal measure, and is well worth the price of admission.

Even if the shooter genre can now count on several games on Playstation VR, Killing Floor: Incursion is a valid alternative.

The PSVR is lacking a shooter that defines the genre in virtual reality but Killing Floor Incursion is a step in the right direction. With a campaign and a horde mode, the game has something for every wanna be zombie (Zed), hunter.

Easily one of the best VR shooters on PlayStation VR at the moment.

Killing Floor: Incursion is the classic example of first-person shooter capable of exploiting virtual reality in a brilliant way and offering a gameplay that goes beyond the typical VR shooter.

ntuitive, authentic, and surprisingly realistic, Killing Floor: Incursion emphasizes the physical dimension of its virtual world, delighting in the tactile qualities of VR and making the most every little object. Whether you’re staring down the scope of a remarkably believable sniper rifle or clobbering enemies with the dismembered arm of one of their own fallen comrades, you never fail to have a clear, satisfying sense of how every item, weapon or body part feels.

If you can get past the fiddly controls, the underwhelming first level and the occasional progress-stopping glitches, Killing Floor: Incursion is an occasionally funny, often scary and generally fun VR shooter.

In the end, Killing Floor: Incursion is fine. The guns work well, but the lack of accuracy will have you favoring melee weapons until you have to use your guns to solve puzzles and fight against bosses. The lack of device accuracy also means that you'll have a tough time trying to holster your weapons, making the combat feel slower and allowing enemies to get in a few cheap hits, but boss fights make the combat feel tedious. The game being available in co-op is nice, but once you're done with the campaign, there isn't much to draw you into the horde mode. If you're a fan of the series, you'll dig it, but don't expect much in the way of replay value beyond showing off the technology to friends.

Killing Floor Incursion is an imperfect but enjoyable FPS, enhanced by an original and interesting control system.

Killing zeds is a fun way to get in my daily exercise requirements but, more than that, the co-op mode can truly be a blast. If you’re looking for something you don’t have to commit to in order to enjoy yourself for a few minutes, Incursion will do the trick.

Killing Floor: Incursion has everything a zombie experience should have: clever weapons, lots of targets to use them on, and a weak story to tie it all together. The controls are a bit of a pain and there are a lot of linear hallways to trudge through but nothing says unwind from a hard day like taking an ax to a zombie’s face. If you have a friend with a PSVR, bring them along for the co-op campaign and horde-mode inspired test of survival.

Looping back to the beginning of this review, we already have a solid stable of go-to VR shooters. Killing Floor: Incursion definitely makes it onto this list though, trails towards the bottom half. It’s a great adaptation of the series but lacks longevity, mainly thanks to its reliance on using the same swarms of braindead cannon fodder instead of adding more diversity to its firefights.

Killer Floor Incursion is a good VR shooter, but not the best in its category.

Killing Floor: Incursion is perhaps everything you might expect from a first-person zombie shooter in VR. It checks all of the boxes, sometimes to its own detriment.

Shooting at everything that remotely resembles the Zed is entertaining enough in VR although repetition rears its head after a short while. The coop action is capable and audio-visually the game is fine although it never really stands out in anything it tries to accomplish. Teleportation as a means to move around is a bit of a bummer and the fact that you automatically drop some guns is something you'll never get used to. The puzzles are far too easy. Killing Floor: Incursion is a okay shooter but it doesn't distinguish itself enough from the crowd.

A fun first-person action game this may be, Killing Floor: Incursion rarely serves as anything other than just that. Its fluid play style and control scheme make decent use of being able to draw, aim, and holster your weapons with realism and ease, though it’s 4-5 hour campaign is often repetitive and lacks a little inspiration.
  17. 50
Killing Floor: Incursion hits PSVR just a bit late in a lot of ways. It's arrival comes months after the PC release, which already felt pretty derivative of other VR shooters out there. If you're a fan of the property then the game might offer enough to justify a purchase. Otherwise it's just a standard VR shooter that doesn't go far enough to differentiate itself from the crowd.
  18. 50
Another failed attempt to get a traditional first person shooter working in VR, although the online co-op option keeps the novelty going for longer than it should.

Killing Floor: Incursion, while visually accomplished and very pretty, doesn’t have anything on its mind. We’re two years into commercial virtual reality and Killing Floor: Incursion is as plain as it is tired.

Well i had high hopes for this game, spoiler alert its a huge lett down i played it on PlayStation VR the graphics are not bad its a bitWell i had high hopes for this game, spoiler alert its a huge lett down i played it on PlayStation VR the graphics are not bad its a bit pixelated but its okey, in the game i had multiple game breaking bugs for example at one level i was supposed to kill the Zeds in one room, but the zeds didn't spawn in they spawn under the floor so I had to look through the walls and shoot them that way,the gun play is criminal its really bad i can't holst my handguns i set up my camera right but I just couldn't holster my weapons, this game is about shooting and it gets it wrong I had to force myself the play it, but thankfully I paid for the game 5€ I brought the Killing Floor double feature for 5€ so I'm not that pissed but if you are planning on buying it for the full 20€ don't buy it it doesn't worth 20€ i thinking i wouldn't play it if it was for free.
