Oct 24, 2016Job Simulator has been one of the best and most lasting experiences with the PSVR.
-
Oct 16, 2016Job Simulator manages to make the most inane tasks fun with satisfying gameplay and witty dialogue. It's easily one of the highlights of PlayStation VR's launch and should be played by every owner who has the space to do so.

Oct 20, 2016Competent virtual reality creates a profound shift in the way games immerse players. Past the novelty, however, comes the demand to have a material effect on the virtual world. Being a witness is fine, but becoming a participant is better. Job Simulator, perhaps more than any other PlayStation VR launch title, neither dwells in abstracts nor resides in stasis. Its cartoony confines are genuine, and player agency, however modest, feels authentic.

Jan 30, 2017When you create sandbox worlds, it’s very easy to leave the player to “make their own fun”, but here the mixture of intuitive controls, player agency, and tongue-in-cheek humor makes Job Simulator a must-have. While it’s a little on the short side, Job Simulator is the easiest VR title to recommend. If you have a VR headset, this game needs to be in your library.

Oct 21, 2016Job Simulator has a personality of its own, and that’s what sells the experience. Its lighthearted, extremely silly premise works wonders with its presentation and core gameplay. It’s just not something super deep, and that seems to be a fairly common issue with most of the VR games I’ve experienced so far. Yet at the same time, this was one that gave me the most chuckles and it’s one that’s just as much fun playing as it is watching someone else do these menial tasks.
-
Oct 19, 2016An amazing, intuitive introduction to virtual reality that will amuse you to no end - even if the amount of job scenarios is ultimately rather unimpressive.
-
Oct 9, 2016A brief delight with satisfying gameplay and irreverent charm, Job Simulator is an early standout on PlayStation VR.
-
Oct 18, 2016While Job Simulator may not be my personal favorite virtual reality game, it is one of the easier titles to recommend given its intuitive design, effective comedy stylings, and broad appeal.
-
Oct 5, 2016Job Simulator's simple tasks are made fun by its absurdist sense of humor and goofy props. It'll test the limits of the PlayStation VR's motion tracking abilities by enticing you to reach for every object and device you can see, which sometimes makes things a little frustrating. But the rewards for experimentation make it well worth doing.

Playstation Official Magazine UKNov 21, 2016A genius idea guaranteed to amuse, Job Simulator offers incredible short term thrills. Alas, unfulfilled potential means you'll hand in your notice quicker than is ideal. [Dec 2016, p.95]
-
Nov 18, 2016Despite its lack of content, Job Simulator is one of the most exciting and fun PlayStation VR experiences.
-
Oct 31, 2016Job Simulator is great, colorful and charming fun, turning even the most ordinary task into a creative and interesting VR experience. It does however grow to be slightly monotonous after a while with each job, and there are some problems here that weren't as apparent on the HTC Vive.
-
Oct 23, 2016Job Simulator is not best played on PSVR, but Owlchemy Labs still did an incredible job translating the game to PS4. They managed to retain the core of the experience which means folks are still set to have fun playing. It’s just a shame that the technology currently paired with PSVR (Move controller and single camera) do not allow for the complete fidelity of play required to truly make Job Simulator an amazing virtual reality experience.
-
Oct 20, 2016It might not be a groundbreaking game, but it really achieves what it wants: entertain and even amuse with some simple mechanics.
-
Oct 16, 2016Probably the most funny and easy experience in VR that you can show to all the non-players you know.
-
Oct 13, 2016Job Simulator is a really fun game that shows off 4 typical human jobs in a year 2050 setting. Fulfilling assignments is satisfying however the game is guiding you way too much to keep it interesting. But the humor keeps you attached and going.
-
Oct 9, 2016The silly simulation gag has long outstayed its welcome, but Job Simulator's biting writing and intuitive gameplay means that the punchline plays one last time. Owlchemy Labs' launch title won't keep you occupied like real labour, but if work was always this entertaining then we'd never pull a sickie ever again.
-
Nov 4, 2016Instead of a real game, Job Simulator is a collection of interactive three-dimensional spaces, probably designed to represent a "first contact" with the world of virtual reality.
-
Nov 8, 2016Job Simulator is a good VR experience, but not a real game sadly. Very fun for a few minutes, the game get very boring after a short time with it's limited content and no real objective.
-
games(TM)Nov 19, 2016We found this version to be glitchy and often a little frustrating. [Issue#180, p.47]
-
Nov 18, 2016The premise is there and the concept is weirdly intriguing. But in the end, this is an overpriced game with short length, various PS Move tracking issues and frigidly bad humor that is just not enough to satisfy you for more than a few hours.
