Only when I saw the name of the game I started to download it just like that, because I wanted to know what this "madness" was about ... But honestly, it's not that bad. The gameplay is quite frenetic, it has a good level design, it offers a fair challenge, the controls are comfortable and the pixel art graphics are more or less good. Now, the game is very short, and the only thing you unlock are a couple of characters at the end of the game and that's it. There is no other new mode, not even multiplayer! Not even the high scores have online support. I also would have liked to see an upgrade system, or something that would encourage replayability. It is also true that there are two characters in particular who are very overpowered. The game makes you pass the easier difficult levels to unlock the other characters and with them have more opportunities when playing on a higher difficulty. And the increase in difficulty is fine, and it shows, but the characters are clearly unbalanced.
You can see at first glance that it is an indie game in which the developers seeked to make a game that was not so ambitious, and I understand it, but later when seeing flash games like Epic Boss Fighter 1 and 2 (which I could calmly consider as my personal favorite of the genre), I feel like it could have been much better.
At least in my opinion it is one of the best free games on the PS4, there is no doubt about that. It's somewhat addictive, and the few minutes it lasted entertained me. I recommend it if you have nothing better to do.… Expand
