    Beautifully haunting.

    Puzzles are excellent, just hard enough to feel accomplished when they are completed.

    The slow revelation style of storytelling works well even without dialog.

This is a masterpiece in platforming and puzzle design that similar to limbo require you to have many lightbulb moments throughout that never come off as cheap or too difficult to require a guide. It strikes a perfect balance similar to portal that anybody can pick it up and experience it. Ive played through it twice andThis game is so eerie and disturbing, horrifying and also beautiful.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Disappointed. I heard so many good reviews for this game, so I purchased. The game seems straightforward, but never clearly explains what you are doing and why. Then there is a big twist in the middle of the game, but that twist is not explained either. The ending is confusing and exciting, but again, the lack of explanation hampered the emotional payoff. Played once. Then returned.… Expand

    luego de terminar limbo me an recomendado este juego y no me arrepiendo para nada me a gustado todavia mas, e tardado 9 horas en pasarlo y me parecio un poco mas dificil pero me e quedado picada con el juego totalmente recomendado (yo lo jugue en ps4)

    This is the game that is going to keep its mysteries from you till the very end and when its all reviled you are still going to be a little confused. One of the best silent stories that i ever played or watched.

    A great game with deep physics mechanics, amazing puzzles, haunting atmosphere and dark design.
    The game story is more metaphor than actual plot, but it does it in a very smart way.

    I liked this one more than Limbo because of its better design and better haunting atmosphere.
    The extra challenges of the orbs also offer some nice replay value.

    A gaming experience like none I've ever had before. Unique, deep, dark, disturbing, and had me researching lore and theories of the game for hours. I highly recommend this short bizarre journey to anyone who appreciates simple concepts with deep plot and brilliant art design.

    This game is something entirely different. There are not many controls you have as a player but still it's amazing what can be done. Time and time again the developers surprised me. It's hard to explain why this game is so refreshing and satifying without giving any spoilers. So I guess you gotta play it yourself.

    It´s difficult to think of a game (other than Limbo) that resembles this short puzzle game. As concise as it is, it achieves greatness. The artwork is simply astonishing and obscure. Don´t discard the possibility of puzzle games before giving this one a shot.

    So basically we have a typical platformer, with only three actions Jump, Move, Interact. Also we have very irritating riddles across the game. And i that sense we have a riddle game, but in other hand this game has its own interesting story, art style and setting. And it got me thinking about my life for several hours, and ive gotta say not many game could bring such experience, and make think about such complex things.
    Also great responsiveness of controls of this game makes pleasant experience by controlling the boy. Also a great sound design keeps you influenced in games story and gameplay.
    For those thoughts that this game gave me, masterful art design/audio design/and controls, and for the most unusual game experience since Last Of Us 2, i will game a 7.5/10    … Expand

    It might be short, it might have no dialogue. But this is truly one experience I'll never forget anytime soon. It's deep, and disturbing, and raises so many questions that are just begging to be answered. If you like LIMBO, you're gonna love INSIDE.

    By the end this game felt like a total waste of time. I guess that was the point. Cool visuals and puzzles , but about half way through I found it impossible to complete without a guide

    Great atmosphere, the game is stunning to look at an is a bit terrifying with what has to say about conformism. Depicts a dystopian reality perfectly without saying a single word (just gameplay, sound design and background action). Sometimes it relies too much on the players dying so they can learn what to do. Still one of the best of 2016...maybe the best.

    The successor to Playdead's Limbo, Inside is more ambitious in its visuals and story. Although Limbo offers a tighter experience with its eerie atmosphere and harder puzzles, Inside carves out a niche of its own thanks to the mystery of the plot and gorgeous visuals.

    Really liked the art style and the sound was well done, although I thought the booms got a little too loud sometimes, particularly when dogs were chasing you. Nonetheless, I liked that this one had a world you could learn about a little more easily than Limbo, and that added a lot to my personal interest in the game.

    Truly a strange, misterious and captivating game. Right on the start i loved the art style and ominous enviroment. Fun puzzel levels and a great story told in a very subtle way. One of the best indies i've ever played to this day. Personally Playdead's best work so far. Truly a must-play

    One of the most intriguing things (be it movies, tv or games) out there.

    If you like ambiguous story telling like David Lynch or Andrei Tarkovsky, play this.

    Roger Ebert once famously said that games can never be art and this makes me want to dig him up from his grave and bring him back alive just to prove him wrong.

    Simple gameplay mechanics, intuitive level designs, puzzles that are good but not overwhelming, game that's short and sweet.

    Pro's: - Game time is a big plus and around 5-6 hours. It's a good game to play over the weekend or to relax after the work hours. - Puzzles are good but not too unintuitive. I hate those games where you need to go to Youtube to solve the puzzles.     points taken away for the two things mentioned below:
    - Two points taken away for the weird ending. Why spoil such a good game with it's weird ending? There's no necessity to make endings awkward to make them dramatic and unique. I personally felt that this ending is neither great nor dramatic but just unnecessary and a big minus to the game.
    - Level design is more monotonous compared to other similar games like Little Nightmares. Of course, Little Nightmares came a year after this game. So, they had time to improvise? May be?    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This game has a lot more of a story compared to LIMBO. I thought about it for a long time after completing it. It does a great job of communicating the story through visuals. There are even some secrets in the game that add another layer to the ending.

    The graphics are unique and sound design is excellent. Underwater segments are used creatively and aren't annoying.

    My only complaint is that the difficulty is lacking compared to LIMBO, making for a quick playthrough. The difficulty spiked in the middle of the game, but it never really developed throughout the entire game.    … Expand

    Inside is a 3-4 hour long indie horror/puzzle game with a mysterious story told not through dialogue but rather through its environment. The art style is amazing, the puzzles are simple yet witty.

    In terms of intrigue, art direction, lighting, sound, control of the emotional responses intended, originality, creepiness, storytelling, subtlety, animation....every single one of those points is perfect.
    It’s not quite a 10 as it doesn’t really take the actual gameplay to anything higher than very neat and well planned. But it’s a meticulously perfect 9, if that makes sense.

    Nesse tipo de jogo é necessário interpretação para entender a história e por isso existem várias teorias sobre ela.

You play as a young boy who begins the game fleeing from armed guards into a forest. If I say anymore, it's not worth playing. You must run and solve puzzles throughout the course of the game, whichPlaydead took all the best parts of Limbo and smacked them together, while leaving (for the most part) the bad behind. If I say anymore, it's not worth playing. Don't let that playtime though put you down, 4 hours of a good game is better than 4 hours of fun in a 20+ hour game. There was a few moments where the trial and error moments got out of hand, but that shouldn't scare you off from what I don't just consider one of the best games of 2016, or one of the best games of the 2010s, but I consider it to be one of the best games of all time.… Expand

The art direction, the use of light and shadow, the audio and the underscored musical cues are absolutely breathtaking. But above all is the ability to tell a story without any dialogue. It's a grownup game. A platformer made for adults and it doesn't treat it's audience with contempt. IOne of the most profound gaming experiences of my life.     A perfectly paced experienced that is as beautiful as it is thought provoking. There is nothing like it and I would recommend this to everyone. There isn't a better case to be found for games as an art form.

    Ein atmosphärisches Meisterwerk. Es wird eine Dystopie gezeichnet, die vom düsteren Verlauf der Handlung im schockierende Finale kumuliert, was als eines der besten aller Zeiten gelten werden sollte. Ein innovativer Schocker, der lange im Gedächtnis bleiben wird (9/10).

    Inside should be the gold standard for wordless storytelling. Every environment and detail feels intentional, the puzzles are challenging enough to emit the feeling of accomplishment when figured out, and the soundtrack brings it all together for a well-revered puzzle platforming classic.

    This game visually is a masterpiece. So unique with excellent visuals and amazing situations the player is placed in. Some frustrating puzzles which dramatically halt the pacing of the game. A lot of the puzzles require waiting which can become boring.

Com a estética 2.5D, em que os cenários são todos em 3D mas você só pode interagir com eles pelo caminho pré-definido, a simplicidade dos elementos apresentados e a lógica simples, mas poderosa, por trás dos puzzles trazem uma aventura de enorme peso e qualidade.     Inside is a Puzzle-Platform video game developed by Playdead and published on June 29, 2016. The game was completed 100% on Xbox Series X.

    BREAKING IN:
    Inside is an extremely linear title based on silent storytelling through the game's continuous animated backgrounds. The early gameplay stages do not differ much from what the player will encounter throughout the entirety of the story, allowing them to face any adversity from the beginning. Most of the mechanics are highly intuitive, thanks to the simplicity of the usable buttons, the jump and the grab. The dark and macabre setting of the story is easily discernible from the initial deaths, which are quite easy to come across due to the non-trivial difficulty of this title.

    OUT OF BODY EXPERIENCE:
    As mentioned earlier, with limited interaction buttons, Inside focuses on the complexity of its puzzles, which are almost always distinct from one another but interconnected enough to prevent the player from feeling disoriented. Some sections of the game are quite challenging to overcome without experiencing fatalities, but as it relies partially on trial and error, they never become frustrating or predictable, aided by a multitude of death animations. As the title suggests, the mechanic on which many puzzles revolve is the ability to control other humanoids by entering their bodies, utilized for both platforming sections and structured puzzles. In addition to the extremely linear story, there are several collectibles that lead to highly crafted secondary areas.

    FADING TO BLACK:
    Graphically, Inside blends a minimalistic style, employing flat colors and graphics, with a 3D approach characterized by a pronounced depth of field and rich details. The story is entirely conveyed through events in the background or foreground, with people interacting with the game environment or the player themselves, often pursuing them to capture. The background, therefore, is not merely a passive element to observe but always interactive with the current gameplay situation the player is trying to complete.

    THAT BARK:
    The audio component is relatively straightforward, with background soundtracks suitable for each passage.

    BUT WHY 8?

    PROS:
    The extreme simplicity of Inside is one of its defining characteristics, making it a relaxing and fast-paced game to play. Furthermore, the puzzles are never predictable or boring, nor too difficult or frustrating. Additionally, the story is as simple as it is effective.

    CONS:
    The lack of a noteworthy soundtrack is a significant drawback for such an authorial game, making certain areas feel rather bare and playable without audio with few issues and shortcomings. Additionally, at times, the game feels too linear, with levels that give a sense of déjà vu.

    I will not compare it with limbo. A masterpiece of both. Inside was a nice experience for me. I was not bored for a single second. One of the best of its kind.

    In fact the one thing I wanted most from Limbo, a secret alternative ending, is in this game. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to unlock it yet, lol.    … Expand

    Great game some puzzles took me a while to solve, hiding from people is surprisingly fun. Unfortunately i found the ending to be a bit lackluster, however this did not take away from the overall experience.

    Uns do melhores JG Indie que já joguei, visualmente muito bonito, pega tudo de limbo e melhora, com uma lore incrível e emocionante.

    It is a 3D arted and 2.5D playable platformer game. All parts have great unique riddles, exciting incredible goosebumping actions and flawless simple gameplay. Do you need another thing for a game? Then should do it yourself. The ending is not took me so much but I don't give a thing.
