    Inertial Drift
    More of a snooze than a cruise
    Inertial drift is a racing game with an obvious focus on drifting.. And its mechanics is the greatest thing about inertial drift.. this Is a bit of a twin stick racer… sprtve, youe accelerate and break with the triggers, but your thumbs stay on both analog stucks, one for turning, one for drifting, this is such a unique feel and a great    Inertial Drift

    sprtve, youe accelerate and break with the triggers, but your thumbs stay on both analog stucks, one for turning, one for drifting, this is such a unique feel and a great overall mechanics, I found myself getting into these crazy flows blancing the triggers and the thumbsticks as id be turning corners… however there is no substance in this games content to give inertial drift praise beyond its mechanics,
    simply put this game jut isn’t fun, there is local and online multiplayer so obviously theres just as much fun there as there is in any multiplayer racing game, but by yourself, inertial drift is a bit boring, there is a grand prix mode, and there are challenges but by time I finished this games less than 2 hour long campaign I was so bored of the game that I had no interest on even gtting sucked into these other modes..
    Fpr starters you pick one of 3 cars and you do their separate campaigns.. all of which will have different challenges, but will all take play across the same 5 tracks.. tracks that just aren’t fun to play and aren’t that great to look at.. youll mostly be racing the clock, racings ghosts.. and ocassionally race one other car to progress this story, which isn’t that interesting at all, its just a bunch of tips for 2 hours so you can do well in the grand prix.. havnt had enough of these boring tracks youre forced to race back to back 3 times in a row? Go do the grand prix and take on… wait? Only one character? A 1 on 1 grand prix, what is this?
    inertial drift, sadly is mediocre beyond its mechanics, but at leat those are a bit fun to play with for a while.. not 2 hours though… definitely not fun for 2 hours.
    I give Inertial Drift

    You’re never up against more than one opponent, though (if you have an opponent at all), meaning you’ll usually have an empty road ahead of you whether you’re ahead or behind, which can kill the sense of competition. This burning rubber cries out tobe a group activity, if you catch our– ahem – drift. Perhaps online play would transform the experience into a thrill, but we’d need to actually find somebody playing to check. As it stands, it’s stuck in first gear. [Issue#181, p.94]

    Inertial Drift is a hugely refreshing arcade racer. Its drift stick in particular is an incredible conceit; a glorious arcade racing fantasy that nonetheless helps give the handling real nuance and depth. Learning to master each vehicle is challenging and satisfying, and the courses themselves deliver memorable corner after memorable corner. Inertial Drift is a high speed, white knuckle ride, and a sweet gift for arcade racing fans.

    This game is a very decent alternative racing title for the Forza fans to try. And with a lack of titles in general until the new Xbox and Playstation consoles hit shops this winter, it is worth trying out good strong games like this even if they're not accompanied by the blockbuster telly adverts you'd expect from bigger budget hits.
