Mar 5, 2018Immortal Redneck offers plenty of shooting and upgrading based fun that will appeal to fans of rogue-like titles. However, progress feels like it comes from putting in the time rather than improving your actual skills.

Mar 4, 2018Immortal Redneck works best as an occasional snack, or a palette cleanser, between heavier gaming meals. Playing for any length of time shows up its shortcomings, but in bite-sized pieces it's a good time. The game's humour is rank and dull, but it luckily doesn't detract from the rather pleasing colourful action the game provides.

Feb 27, 2018Immortal Redneck is a blast of a game in a genre that we don’t see enough of. It’s not the first roguelike FPS that we’ve seen on PlayStation 4, and I wouldn’t say it’s the best, either. It does, however, have an exceptional aesthetic, clever level design, clean action, a decent difficulty curve, and plenty of longevity. A very worthy action game indeed.
