Hotline Miami on the PS4 is the same intense, gripping experience that we've already come to love on other platforms, but with the use of the DualShock 4's new capabilities and smooth ergonomics, it easily lives up to the thrills of its past exploits.

Fantastic! Love the old school challenge but needs more levels. Much easier controls on the PS4 than on the Vita. The story is paranoid andFantastic! So-So
    * more complex story than I thought after research (need to pay attention)
    * not sure if I got by on skill or luck

    Cons:
    - inconsistent and unfair A.I
Example: guy with a shotgun with a his back turn will do a 180 one shot kill from across the room, while another one will chase you. it feels like rng.

    - stiff and horrible twins stick mechanics (was this intentional to make the game artificially difficult?)

    - inconsistent hit boxes.
Example: on my screen it clearly shows the bat going through the npc but it doesn't register sometimes, same with bullets going through npcs. keyword: sometimes.

    - inconsistent "stealth". what constitutes an enemy detecting you. I had an A.I do a 180 one hit shot the second I entered a room, but kill his friend while hes facing your general direction and not far away, and sometimes he wont notice.

It's definately one of the hardest games that I've actually completed. That sense of satisfaction when chapter cleared is a big high. But I can't just turn a blind eye on the flawed mechanics of this game, getting killed by a character off-screen is the icing on the cake, My frustrations were not with getting good, it's with the wonky game systems. And I have a suspicion it was intentionally implemented too.
