    Becouse how generic and boring this game was i can't start Horizon Forbidden West. Looks like that one has better visuals and combat mechanics but saw the character design and dialogs are still bad in that game. Mid game imo

    I own the pc version of the game and use a ps5 controller to play it, the art design, graphics and game play is great. The only real problem i found with the game play is that sometimes the game throws 5 sawtooths in 1 level, and if you didn't know already sawtooths are boss fights on its own, i rage quit the game 10 times already in 11 hours but most of the time i come back in half anI own the pc version of the game and use a ps5 controller to play it, the art design, graphics and game play is great.     Horizon Zero Dawn is a quality game. It falters in some areas but is overall a solid title. While it went with some design choices I personally may not have cared for I can't say it's not a solid title. Despite its flaws, I'm still extremely excited to dive into Forbidden West. For a new IP, it's awe-inspiring what Gorilla Games has accomplished.

    REAL SCORE 8.6. This is a unique game. Whit a unique combat, world, enemies, story but with a so common section of RPG that it holds the game back. With a not that astonishing open world, it is solid.

    A good game that i would recommend to everyone that has a PS4, but probably after 10 games they do what this game does, but much better.

    eu classifico esse jogo muito bem pois eu ja zerei ele duas vezes e as vezes que eu zerei ele a minha experiência foi incrível, ele tem uma historia muito boa, gráficos absurdos, e um esquema de inimigos muito diferente do convencional, da vontade de jogar só para derrotar os inimigos pois o esquema de combate é muito legal e dinâmico. parabéns a equipe.

    Amazing graphics and gameplay. My only complaint is purely subjective: I have no interest in fighting robotic animals, and found that aspect to be dumb, and that's the whole game, so...

    Good and enjoyable game. Gameplay is amazing and open world feels full. Graphics are nice and view of enviroment is nice. Story was also interesting. But for me personally biggest flaw in this game was main character with her holier-than-thou attitude and her interactions with others. 8/10

    To begin with, the idea of the game is amazing from the story to the whole image the creativity the creators had when making this game probably was huge but gameplaywise this game is not my type i am getting bored very easily and it is not very smooth and relaxating. Anyways it might be the best ps exclusive but i still didn't enjoyed it (I don't like ps exclusives that why i have this as my best)

    Nice gameplay and rpg mechanics, great graphics, decent story and lore. Love the protagonist, although I didnt care that much about the other characters. The choice of dialogue didnt seem to have much impact unfortunately except for slightly changing some lines. I wish the final boss was stronger or had different phases. The extension is nice.

    Overrated for sure. The story is so cliche and combat sucks because there is zero counter to enemies. Good graphics but soulless game. Texture popin is so close to the character that it is annoying. Aiming sucks on console.

    One of the best looking open worlds, engaging and frantic combat, fun mechanics and side quests, Horizon has everything you could want in a large blockbuster PlayStation title. While it took some time for me to fully get into the combat and story, putting the necessary time into this game proves to be immensely rewarding. An amazing and lengthy experience overall.

    Horizon Zero Dawn takes so many AAA game ideas/mechanics that have been done to death during the PS3-PS4 era and throws them all together in a big, bland bowl of soup. Then makes it look real nice and throws in some cool enemies. The open world, collectables, things to pick up, crafting, climbing, traversal, side quests, side activities and light RPG elements are all borrowed from other games and uninspired. Almost every character interaction and cut scene caused my neck to lose all strength, my head rolled back and I let out an intense groan of boredom.

    The absolute high points of this game are the mystery and details of what happened to the world and the mystery of who the main character is. The other great thing is of course fights with the machine enemies. But even this which was so fun at first becomes a little tiresome as the game over stays it's welcome.

    This might all sound pretty negative but it's still good enough that I finished it and then had a little more. It is a perfectly fine game that scratches some kind of itch i have in my brain. Just don't play too many games like this too often or you'll get burnt out.

As an epic fantasy writer, I naturally tend toward fantasy settings, and though Horizon is solidly science fiction, it felt like sci-fi treated with fantasy gloves. Machine hunting via bow    I came to Horizon: Zero Dawn late—several years late, in fact. It wasn't until a buddy of mine turned me on to the game that I even knew it existed.

    The concept seemed a bit strange, if intriguing. As an epic fantasy writer, I naturally tend toward fantasy settings, and though Horizon is solidly science fiction, it felt like sci-fi treated with fantasy gloves. Machine hunting via bow and arrow, different elements acting almost as a magic system, a tribalistic, naturalistic society—I was quickly convinced this could be a game I enjoyed.

    Boy, did I underestimate how much I'd love it.

    First off, the visuals are absolutely stunning. From the environment to the lighting to the characters and machines, they all contribute to make this version of Earth a fantastical place indeed.

    Then there's the gameplay. I'd never played anything like it, nor have I still (other than its sequels). It's dynamic, exciting, challenging, yet ultimately rewarding while refraining from being frustrating (unless I've chosen to challenge myself with the ridiculously difficult hard modes). Even having played Forbidden West now, Zero Dawn holds its own in terms of combat.

    But what really makes the game have a lasting impact are its characters and relationships, and its world steeped in stories. Aloy herself is a poignant and enthralling character. From the first moment we follow her as a child, I was invested in this inquisitive, competent, and tough individual. I think often of her discovery in the ruins ("Daddy sure does love his little big man.") and how it touches on the thing she's missing most at that point in time: a sense of belonging.

    Aloy's character development doesn't slow down for the rest of the story, either. You have to admire her tenacity as she takes on her society, then the world at large, never slowing no matter the setback she faces. In fact, I love her character so much she was the inspiration for a protagonist in one of my books, The Last Ranger.

    There are only a few things that hold back Horizon: Zero Dawn for me, and they're fairly minor. I'll admit to tiring of some of the repetitive side aspects to the game, and some of the side quests were less enthralling than others. But none of these truly detract from this towering success of a game.

    If you haven't played Horizon: Zero Dawn yet, do yourself a favor and snatch up a copy. You're in for the adventure of a lifetime.    … Expand

    Great game. One of the most memorable I played. Loved the characters and the story. Did a great job in unfolding the main mystery in the story step by step.
    I felt like controls and movements of the character you play could be better but it was still good. I loved the weapon system.
    In my opinion, there is very little to complain about in this game.

    Un juegazo. Su historia es digna de una obra maestra, gráficamente excelente con algunos detalles negativos en las conversaciones en dónde se nota un efecto boque muy exagerado en el fondo. El combate contra las máquinas es excelente pero contra humanos no tanto. Siendo honesto la nota sería un 85 pero teniendo en cuenta la comunidad tóxica que viene a ponerle 0s toca equilibrarla

    Gameplay : Spear, arrow, traps, auto toothpick shooter (?), and so much more! The combat that developers put in this game is so well thought that we as players won't be bored playing it for several months.

    I didn't feel the emotions of the characters. the characters always showed the same expression when they were scared, sad, crying. I deducted 1 point because of these . The other point I broke is due to the fact that the control of the mounts is not comfortable.

The first open world in a long time that I had seen something on the horizon and said "damn i have to go check that out." Gameplay is really fun with a lot of unique and interesting tools to target specific machine vulnerabilities. Learning about the historyAbsolutely stunning game.     Didnt expect any of it, but the amazing story quickly got my attention and gameplay mechanics are really fun when you play it at a higher difficult and actually have to think through how to defeat enemies, also love the characters.

    - The concept of Giant Robot dinosaurs and a futuristic setting that resembles a prehistoric era is Amazing and gives the game a sense of wonder.
    - The combat for the most part is fun, and the Bow feels amazing to use - The Enviromental Graphics, and the overall preformance of the game and the movement of the dinosaurs looks breathtaking, The Bad- - The story is lackluster    The Good:

    Missions mostly consisted of investigate, follow trail, beat enemy, on rinse and repeat. Aloy I found at best dull, and at worst just downright annoying although she did grow on me gradually (a lot of the character acting i found very wooden).

    Biggest issue for me was the cut scenes. There only ever seemed to be about 2 variations on the camera angle, and for a game that depended so much on its story, the single angle, wooden cut scenes got very boring very quickly. I wanted to get into the story, but so many times I found myself just skipping dialogue because it was so tedious.

    That said, it did start to grow on me towards the end. The story, although very predictable, did come together nicely and Aloy gradually became less obnoxious. I'm not sure it grew on me enough to play Forbidden West, unless, that really works on some of the failings of Zero Dawn.    … Expand

    I have mixed emotions. The gameplay is interesting but I feel like in the middle of the game you just are bored with it. The plot is advancing and looks like just "go to ruins and watch holos"

    Good game. Melee combat is lacking, but ranged compensates a ton for it. Story isn't bad, but the best part is fighting giant robot dinosaurs. You can shoot individual pieces off of these enemies to disable their weapons and chip them down.

    The major mechanic of this game is to hunt and take down robot machine animals. However the story line quickly engages you towards solving the mystery and what I absolutely love about it is the range of weapons, outfits and tools that you have available which makes the combat feel very personal.

    Well only great things,it's story packed alot of punch and emotion,early on you get attached to those around you in the game

    Aloys story is one of redemption ,once an outcast turned hero,the games story is definitely a must play and would recommend to anyone

    Graphically speaking the game is a technical marvel, gorgeous to look at,the fact this was managed on the ps4 is nothing short of incredible

    It has some side activities usually found in games like this,akin to farcry you have tallnecks (outpost towers in farcry) that give you a lay of the land and allow you to open up more of the map

    Collectibles ranging from statues,vantage points,training dummies to destroy

    It's hunting grounds are a test of your skill with various equipment and environmental surroundings

    Definitely worth a 10 score and everyone with a ps4/5 needs to play this game    … Expand

As an open world game, you really feel like you are in a living world.     The unfortunate fact of Horizon is that most of what it does well, other games have done better, and they did it with a compelling who and where. This is the game you play after you’ve finished The Witcher 3, Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate, and Far Cry: Primal. It is the greatest hits compilation of open-world games. Yeah, sure, you might want to own it, but the real connoisseur has the original albums.

    Horizon Zero Dawn has an unforgettable protagonist, world, story, visuals, soundtrack and gameplay. Due to minor issues with inventory management and quest selection, I cannot call it perfect but I can say it is absolutely worth your time.
