    Very terrible writing, gameplay sucks. If you like watching movies this game is for you as there is more cutscenes then gameplay.

    This game looks amazing at the beginning. General design is good, the world is stunning but it ends here. The gameplay gets boring really fast, I already knew I'd drop this game after a few hours, I lasted for 5 before closing it one last time.
    Characters are boring, gameplay is ripetitive and not excting at all against monsters, while is simply horrible against humans. I tried to give it    This game looks amazing at the beginning.     Overrated for sure. The story is so cliche and combat sucks because there is zero counter to enemies. Good graphics but soulless game. Texture popin is so close to the character that it is annoying. Aiming sucks on console.

    Wow. There were right! The biggest problems of this game start when the characters decide to open their mouth. And end when they stop.

    Look. I am a story guy. I even take good story over good gameplay most of the time. If the story is "just there" but the gameplay is good I don't mind. But if the story is constantly taking you out of the gameplay and the immersion... And while being    Wow. There were right! But if the story is constantly taking you out of the gameplay and the immersion... And while being cringy is so insolent and brazen... You can't constantly just ignore it, it's not a short game (Even if in reality it should be shorter because it works on the same old repeated task gold far cry assassins creed standard way. Because the gameplay loop doesn't need innovation right? Just the looks.). There is only so much "screenwriters being in need of self-adoration" that you can witness before it takes the cake. Just so dumb and not real-life alike it's like the writers don't have real friends or their social life is all smoke and mirrors or something.

    Después de a verlo pasado en ps4, volví a jugarlo con el "maldito DLC" y tengo que decir que el juego, supuestamente vendido como el juego "base", és un robo descarado al consumidor. Quitando un buen trozo de la historia final, que aclarar muchas cosas y robando vuestro dinero descaradamente. és por eso que le doy un 4.

    I will never understand the praise this game gets. I played through the entire game, and it was painful. Let's start off by looking at the good stuff, which are very few btw, the combat system is great. Everything feels realy satisfying when you use the bow etc, The world is also beautifully crafted, and it has stunning visuals.
    My biggest problem is the voice acting. Not a single voice    I will never understand the praise this game gets. I played through the entire game, and it was painful.     My biggest problem is the voice acting. Not a single voice actor here is good, they all talk like robots. The dialogue is so cringy, and I feel like an alien that has never interacted with humans before, wrote the script. The dialogue "cutscenes" are awkward as hell, the facial animations is on par with the same emotions furby toys show with their faces. For some reason, the voice actors seems to have a 3second pause between every sentence sometimes, and it was really annoying. I probably skipped 80% of the games dialogue, and I pray to Guerilla, that the sequel will be better, because there is so much potential here.    … Expand

    Mittelmäßiges Far Cry Abklatsch Spiel. Ja die Welt sieht nett aus und die Robos sind nett, aber die KI is so ratten dumm, das gibts echt nicht. Zudem ist die Story so abartig gestreckt. Und an den unmöglichsten Stellen gegen Ende tauchen auf einmal Gegner auf. Ja ne is klaaaa. Die Story fand ich aber echg gut.
    Leider reist einen die unglaublich schlecht gemachte Kletterei immer wieder aus    Mittelmäßiges Far Cry Abklatsch Spiel.     Not sure why score is so high. Only thing that keeps me playing is to know what happened that world looks like it looks. For every other piece like fighting, sneaking, climbing, open world activities - there are games that do it better.

    navigate the open world, main story, use of weapons.. a very boring game with everything. The only good feature may be its visuals.

    Horizon is easily one of my favourite game, it has wonderful graphics for a game from 2017 and the fighting mechanic, im in love with it. You have different types of bows, traps, literal flamethrowers, and many more. And the amount of side missions and side content packed into this game is just ginormous.
    For me, this is the definition of must play game for PlayStation.

    Besides being pretty, this game is a huge mess. I bought the big collector's edition and I regret it deeply. It's buggy as hell, combats absolutely blow against machine and are even worst against humans, story is a snooze fest and puzzles level designs are some of the worst I ever seen. Do not buy this game.

    эта игра весьма не понятная да есть открытый мир да хорошая графика но многое не понятно аванпосты вся суть геймплея на лёгкой сложности это бежать до задания и сражатся с кучей роботов легко убивающих тебя

    The game is great, but I play on YouTube, because Sony blocked PSN Store.
    Add Kazakhstan region to PSN Store, I wanna play this game.

    gam was fine, thats all - story and dialogues were boring. good that the game was in PS+. wanted to play that game to know the story before forbiden west. hope the 2nd part will be much better. imo the 10 rates came only from ponys but the game is still bad.

    Characters are laughably weak and a story that is strong "gotta save the world...again" vibes - it even has the gall to set up for another sequel at the end of the game. Quests are utterly forgettable and rote.
    Visual character design ranges from okay to laughably bad - there is strong dissonance between the extremely realistic people and the stupid outfits they wear - its probably worth noting that when characters are this realistic, they need equally realistic costumes otherwise it looks very silly - dorky game concept design does not translate with this fidelity of realism.

    Combat is a boring war of attrition at any level above easy, and offers little intrinsic or extrinsic reward. Human enemies are incredibly hard to see when in combat at a distance. Melee combat against dinos larger than yourself is basically pointless and a mess - this ain't no dark souls bruv.

    Technically its incredible - if you want to ogle incredible graphics then this is the game (except for the cutscene lighting which was a poor stylistic choice). The world and atmospherics are incredible and its a shame that the game inside it is so poor.

    I've spent almost 300 hours in the game, so what I can tell. The game is great, the story is brilliant and I really love it.

    I do not recommend this game

    Rapid movement of the map is very inconvenient

    The ride will disappear, you have to keep repeating to find another new one

    The story is not attractive and keep playing

    Uninteresting characters especially Aloy. Osef and bad story. Boring gameplay after only several hours. Bad combat system (no feeling and always the same thing: rolling arrow r1 r2 no combo). Pretty ? but so what?

    Yikes, this game is not good... I only heard good things about this game when I played it, and yes, I was unimpressed with most of it. The best thing about the game is the visuals. The environments and creatures all look amazing, especially for a PS4 game. The people on the other hand look bad. Reviewers hated on Mass Effect for the facial animations and lip sync. This game was guilty ofYikes, this game is not good... I only heard good things about this game when I played it, and yes, I was unimpressed with most of it. The story was interesting until Erend came into it. I absolutely hated his quests and tried to put them off. The combat was horribly abuseable and repetitive. Melee was useless, as well as stealth. The cauldrons were unnecessary, boring, and luckily could be skipped. Aloy was one of the most boring characters I have ever seen. It was hard to get immersed when she seemed unphased by the new places she explores or the visions into the past she sees. The collectables were useless as well with horrible rewards for getting them all. I painstaking beat the game, just due to the interesting main story.… Expand

    only good thing about this is the graphics but if all you have going for you is pretty lights you dont deserve a 8.4

    The unfortunate fact of Horizon is that most of what it does well, other games have done better, and they did it with a compelling who and where. This is the game you play after you’ve finished The Witcher 3, Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate, and Far Cry: Primal. It is the greatest hits compilation of open-world games. Yeah, sure, you might want to own it, but the real connoisseur has the original albums.

    Horizon Zero Dawn has an unforgettable protagonist, world, story, visuals, soundtrack and gameplay. Due to minor issues with inventory management and quest selection, I cannot call it perfect but I can say it is absolutely worth your time.
