Both Hitman: Blood Money and Hitman: Absolution are a stealth gamer's delight, and a decent addition to the PS4's growing catalogue of classics. Veterans and newcomers alike will find something to enjoy in this diverse pairing, but the over-the-top price tag is likely to discourage many who are on the fence. Nevertheless, the remastering is good, and both titles play well on the system, even though there are no major graphical changes over the originals, beyond a resolution bump and some minor interface tweaks.

Hitman HD Enhanced Collection is a cool collection. Of course there are some downsides to the title (Blood Money), but all things said and done they make for some really good gaming experiences. I would say I think the price is a bit excessive at this time of writing with the PlayStation Store selling it for $90.95. I would wait till it comes down as I’ve not seen a remaster where they ask for more than a new game. Just my opinion. And yes I am more than aware there are two games here. It’s just a bit much.

Blood Money and Absolution are great games but even with the enhancements they are showing their age, not only when compared to the most recent entries but also to each other.

There wasn’t much effort put into these upgrades. Especially with Blood Money the age is clearly visible in almost every aspect.

Given the rather high ticket price, it is natural to advise you to wait for a price drop before diving into the Hitman HD Enhanced Collection.

As a remaster, Hitman HD Enhanced Collection does deliver the best looking edition of these games to consoles but there's a sense the price is hard to justify. If either of these titles are missing from your Hitman collection, it's worth a look. I've had fun and found myself nostalgic re-examining these two titles. I can't deny it's a difficult package to recommend to veterans unless they really, really want to see a sharper image.

Blood Money and Absolution are games we really like for different reasons, and being able to play them on modern platforms is always good. As a remaster, though, it is quite limited… and expensive.

Hitman Blood Money and Hitman Absolution can both still shine in their own way, but Hitman HD Enhanced Collections is overpriced for what it has to offer. It's an interesting buy for newcomers, but Hitman's veterans will notice that improved textures, resolution and frame rate don't have such a big impact on the game experience as a whole.

There's no real reason to buy Hitman HD Enhanced Collection if you already own Blood Money and Absolution. The clunky controls and dated graphics of Blood Money aren't improved enough to warrant a purchase and Absolution is missing its popular online Contracts mode. Nevertheless, these are still solid Hitman games so if you haven't played them yet, this compilation may be worth getting.

One of the games that imbibed the formula created in 1998 was Hitman that appeared for PC in 2000, now 18 years after its launch it is one of the most recognized series of its kind, even with the ups and downs it has had in recent times and in which its future seeming uncertain due to the reception problems that its last two deliveries have had. In the middle of the current situation IO Interactive brings us a remastering of two widely-recognized games for very different reasons among them, namely, Blood Money and Absolution being the first one of the most acclaimed and the second one that did not have the expected reception among fans.

A new coat of paint improves both Blood Money and Absolution but with few other additions, Hitman HD Enhanced Collection is a hard sell.

I love the Hitman franchise but this is a total rip off cash grab. It consists of Hitman Blood Money and Hitman Absolution, that's it. TheI love the Hitman franchise but this is a total rip off cash grab. It consists of Hitman Blood Money and Hitman Absolution, that's it. The developers claimed they would be enhanced and have 4K resolution, new textures, controls and lighting. However, the game doesn't have new textures, lighting, controls and it doesn't even run at native 4K. Not even on the PS4 PRO or Xbox One X. Yet the latest Hitman game that came out last November is capable of running in native 4K, but not these old games? They really don't look any different to the original versions and the price is ridiculous at £50. I purchased the latest Hitman 2 game on day of launch for just £29. Resident Evil 2 Remaster is a total full on 100% remaster that is about to come out and that only costs £40. So they are mad to try and charge people £50 for this Hitman HD Enhanced Collection as they look no different to the originals that i already own. There is no point to it other than a cash grab. Hitman Blood Money is a classic that deserves a proper full on remaster. Full Review »

This game is almost good but the price is ridiculous for what you are getting. Plus these aren't even the best Hitman games out.
