I loved the 2016 Hitman but I don't love Hitman 2. Hitman 2 looks and plays exactly like it's predecessor, it has the same animations, same weapons with a few new ones and it can end up looking uglier than the first one at times. Same as Hitman 1, though I have no issues with Hitman 1, both are good, just that there wasn't really much different in Hitman 2, other than the obvious, the missions.

Answer: 75 characters is between 10 words and 19 words with spaces included in the character count. If spaces are not included in the character count, then 75 characters is between 12 words and 25 words.

Hitman 2 is the natural continues of hitman 2016 ..6 location and very short campain... but a lot to do in offline sub mode and online mode. The impression is this hitman and that of 2016 should have been a single chapter .. instead the developers have split it into two and have earned double

It's a wonderful Hitman game, more of what we found in Hitman "Season" 1. I miss full motion video in the cut scenes, but it does get the message and story out in a good way.

The fundamental problem with this game is that the way the game wants to be played also happen to be the least interesting and boring way to play it - that is by staying silent and follow the telegraphed steps.

In other words the core design of the game is at odds with its core ambition, which is to have the player become the architect of his own assassinations by strictly relying on his wits, observation skills, and mastery of the game mechanics.

This is a shame because the audio-visual presentation is great and the environments are as immersive as they get.

I think the developer needs to rethink the formula at its core by embracing a more systemic approach which will give rise to a more spontaneous, satisfying, and ultimately meaningful gameplay experience.

After enjoying the previous Hitman quite a bit, I was looking forward to seeing how IO would develop on it with a sequel. However, I suppose my main issue with Hitman 2 is that it's just more of the same. It's still a lot of fun and it's all really well made but ultimately it's just a glorified season pass. However, I suppose my main issue with Hitman 2 is that it's just more of the same. It's still a lot of fun and it's all really well made but ultimately it's just a glorified season pass. Honestly, I don't mind that really, since it's fun enough that it's worth the price of admission, but it would've been nice to see the series evolve and try new things. That being said, what IO have done with the series is already near perfection by design. A sprawling world of different systems all combining to create something both authentic and entertaining to tear apart. I love how I can take out a guard, hide him in a bush, cap the target with an assault rifle, run back to the guard, steal his clothes, and escape undetected. It's ridiculous, yes, but it all works so well because everything reacts in the way you expect because IO have done a great job of setting out clear rules of the world. It's really satisfying to navigate missions by understanding exactly how the game and taking advantage of every ability in your arsenal. You feel clever, which is always nice in a game. However, I'll never understand why in God's name they even bother with the scripted "opportunity" mechanic. Basically, the idea is you can overhear people explaining how some big important person is arriving and they'll be in the immediate vicinity of your target by sheer coincidence, so you take out that special person, steal their clothes, and undergo a series of monotonous scripted events that eventually lead to the main baddie dying. It's so utterly...bleh. In a game which is so excellent at inspiring creativity and thinking outside the box, it sure does love to bore you to tears with endless waiting for the game to catch up with you so a very specific set of events can happen. And the conversations which alert you to these missions always feel completely inorganic, like these people were waiting for a random bald stranger to cross their path before dispelling confidential information out of nowhere. If IO had removed these events, or tweaked them to feel more like your doing rather than the game's, then they perhaps could have focused more on evolving their formula. Hitman has the potential to be something excellent, but as it stands it's just good. It's still a lot of fun though and I'm looking forward to the next batch of new content. Expand

I think the gameplay, the way missions are organized, the different worlds etc are top notch I also loved the stealth, taking time to plan and look for hints or alternative routes to complete assignments BUT. its the last Hitman I play laid out like this. Most if not all additional contents are evolved around the same world you've just finished playing. I prefer the old way Hitman games were like (Bloodmoney/Absolution) etc Hitman 2 is good but lacks value. Expand

Hitman 2 is a mixed game. Its gameplay is overwhelmingly good, while other aspects get in the way. Its missions are fun. Even its story, I find good (despite the many haters who hate on the way its told) The rewards for finishing the missions well are satisfying and encouraging, until you can't get them because your wifi isn't fast enough. This is super frustrating and inconvenient. It made me think along the lines of "Why should I play a singleplayer game when they block your access to the features based on internet, when I might as well just play a multiplayer game." This internet requirement also makes the saving loading extremely slow. They put these annoying requirements in order to prevent piracy, to prevent money loss, when ironically this is one of the reasons this game lost sales. Expand

As someone who's never played a Hitman game in his life, Hitman 2 was tough to get into but quite fun when I got the gist of it.

I'm not a fan of stealth and the great thing here is that you can approach every mission however you like. Want to go guns blazing? Sure. Wanna spend 3 hours on a mission analyzing everything on the map? Go for it. It really lets you do you. Gameplay is nice

Wanna spend 3 hours on a mission analyzing everything on the map? Go for it. It really lets you do you. Gameplay is nice and tight, the A.I. is truly brain dead which is both fun and a bit frustrating. The locations you visit are pretty rich and allow for lots of exploration and different styles of play. The option to play missions from Hitman 1 with the new mechanics is a great touch and the sniper missions are a nice change of pace. Graphics are pretty meh, but they get the job done.

My main gripes are the fact that the plot is so bare bones and so pointless that you might as well skip it entirely and that sooner or later you will get tired of the way the game plays. As much variety as the game may present to you, it does get tiresome at some point and I think the main reason for that is exactly the lack of plot. You have no good end goal so you stop caring. Additionally there is a bit of a steep learning curve. I feel like the tutorial missions really oversimplify the gameplay and what follows after is way tougher and complex. You go in feeling unprepared.

Hitman 2 is pretty fun and once you get into its gameplay you can pretty much do whatever you want but the lack of substantial plot makes it feel like a non-essential game.

The story is very short. It's just a few missions but each mission can take up to an hour to complete. The game has a lot of replayability.

The story is all over the place. If you buy the game. Do it for its gameplay value if you are looking for a long and interesting story you won't get it in this game.

I loved the first season but this time around I found it repetitive and boring . The dark humor is still there. There's fewer maps but the locations feel far more detailed and dense. It just felt like I needed to check a box rather than enjoy the game , and of course each mission needs to be replayed dozens of times to get your equipment Based soley on the handful of missions one playthrough could be completed in roughly 5 , but I didnt have the will to even attempt mastering more than the first mission this time around. There hasnt been enough advancement to justify this as a new game at full price. Expand

Juego entretenido de sigilo pero que se hace bastante corto, tiene muy pocas misiones y enseguida te lo terminas, es recomendable si no esperas mucho de él.

I absolutely loved the first hitman game (from 2016) so I decided in 2019 to buy the new Hitman 2.
The cutscenes in this game are boring, and doesn't really have much to it, but think about it again
your an hitman going to kill people, we don't need some long RDR2 cutscenes. I want to tear sum **** up.

Hitman 2 follows the 2016 game in almost every aspect. It looks and feels pretty similar, which is nothing less than a good thing, concerning the quality of the first game. For now, we should ask for nothing more, but let us hope a new installation brings yet another evolution to the table.

A killer sandbox that is hurt by repetitiveness and linear approach in levels. But once you manage to use your imagination, you’ll start enjoying the game, worthy of agent 47. [Issue#292]

Hitman 2 is not leaps and bounds better or even different than its predecessor, as it feels less like a sequel and more like the second season. However, it manages to hit the mark where it truly matters with expansive level designs and a wealth of gameplay options that makes playing through the same missions multiple times consistently fun but feel different every time.
