Jun 8, 2016The newest episodes continue the steady quality improvement of Hitman. Marrakesh offers an even bigger and impressive (from a technical standpoint) playground with much more freedom of actions while also presenting increased challenge. It’s a testament of IO Interactive’s aim for excellence.
-
Jun 3, 2016Marrakesh is the best area and mission in Hitman so far. It rewards patience and a slower pace of gameplay than any previous mission. The attention to detail and level design are a step up from Sapienza and Paris as well.
-
Jun 3, 2016Hitman's Marrakech level is a vibrant, righteous continuation of an excellent format.
-
Jun 1, 2016IO Interactive continues Hitman's reboot with another sprawling level that doesn't disappoint. Even if its episodic nature doesn't feel completely necessary, each dose of content will keep you plenty busy until the next one arrives.
-
Jun 3, 2016Agent 47 operates in a credible and consistent context, where reality, narrative licenses and pure fantasy converge in a perfect balance. Maybe it will not represent Io-Interactive’s final goal, but it can be considered as a great way forward to secure a bright future for our charismatic nameless assassin.
-
Jun 3, 2016The third installment of the this new Hitman is by far the best one yet. Its great level design makes it a must have to every fan of this type of game.
-
Jun 2, 2016Episode 3 offers a fascinating landscape and many opportunities. The nature of the new Hitman is well established, tasks are always well done and really fun to play.
-
Jun 2, 2016Another solid entry into the series and fans of the series so far will love the new challenges it presents.
-
Jun 3, 2016Hitman’s third episode builds on your pre-existing knowledge and ramps up the pressure in a very hostile environment. The trip to Marrakesh never quite reaches the giddy heights of the previous episode, but it still stands as another exceptionally-designed level to add to the growing greatness of 2016’s Hitman experience.
-
Jun 2, 2016Hitman Episode 3 is yet another thrilling location to hunt your targets down. Marrakesh offers a lot of interaction, and although it is not as memorable as Sapienza, Marrakesh succeeds in delivering an exciting new manhunt.
-
Jun 2, 2016It may not hit the same high notes that Sapienza did, but the third Hitman episode is still a high level game of infiltration and assassination that is peppered with plenty of memorable moments.
-
Jun 1, 2016Not quite as good as the previous two maps, with the more serious atmosphere lessening the fun, but still a more than welcome addition to the episodic series.
-
Jun 1, 2016Marrakesh provides the most complexity to the Hitman formula yet, and its design and setting make players work harder for success now more than ever before. Overall, Hitman Episode 3 is yet another amazing addition to the series this year and I can't wait to get lost in its fourth episode.
-
Jun 1, 2016It doesn't hit the heights of Sapienza, but Marrakesh is another sterling Hitman episode.
-
Jul 6, 2016The third venture into the episodic Hitman might not be as good as his second adventure, but Marrakesh still offers amazing digital playground that will surely put your assassin skills to the test.
-
Jun 20, 2016Although my tone and criticisms might not suggest it, Episode 3 is still a solid addition to the Hitman universe. Marrakesh is an interesting place to explore, but IO just doesn’t do enough to make it a standout here. Considering that there are still three episodes left to go, I’m hoping that the next installment will keep enriching the game and not just coast on fumes from the first two excellent episodes.
-
Jun 6, 2016The main knock here is that Marrakesh almost feels like three unrelated areas (school, consulate, public) stitched together -- there's even a secret, sterile-looking corridor that basically connects the school and the consulate.
-
Jun 3, 2016It is indeed a very good episode with stunning and huge environments, loaded with some breathtaking crowds, but it probably lacks variety and coherence that made Sapienza such a great place.
-
Jun 3, 2016Hitman: Episode 3 - Marrakesh is a good addition to an already great release, and although it may not have the total freedom of Sapienza, it certainly does espionage and detail well. The constantly busy atmosphere and the variety of kills will keep dedicated assassins coming back for more. Roll on Thailand.
-
Jun 15, 2016Episode 3: Marrakesh is entertaining but it doesn't build upon the brilliant Sapienza mission!
-
Jun 7, 2016An enormous level must mean an enormous amount of things to do, right? Right? Nope.
-
Jun 4, 2016Marrakesh falters in its volume of storytelling and willingness to let the player in on what’s going on behind the scenes and in between episodes.
-
Playstation Official Magazine UKJul 16, 2016A perfectly serviceable level concept and map with a few neat ideas, but its balance is off and replay value is much lower than that of the other episodes in the series. [Aug 2016, p.84]
-
Jun 6, 2016Hitman retains its strong gameplay core in light of setbacks. The developers fail to capitalize on Marrakesh’s intricately rendered crowds, and performance bugs that were once corrected have returned.
-
Jun 3, 2016Hitman Episode 3: Marrakesh doesn’t reach the highs of the previous levels and features the worst voice acting so far.
-
Jun 3, 2016Hitman Episode 3: Marrakesh is the least impressive installment thus far, but it still holds up as a decent distraction.
