    Ninja theory did a really good job with such a game tells the story of many people around us suffering this kind of dark mental state, this game needs a 7.1 surround headphone otherwise you’ll lose half of what it wants to deliver, the nordic mythology has been shown perfectly that I was interested for a bit to get out of my greek one to this awesome one, bossfights and puzzels were fun too

    Beautiful personal story, that took me off my reality and made me watching Senua's path to the end, with eyes wide open. Although battles with enemies some times been a little too difficult for average casual player, that deffenetly i am.

    I have heard and read so much great things about Hellblade, that my expectations were really high before playing it. Ninjas did not meet those expectations... the game is quite well written, the story is promising although ends quickly, the main character is interesting at first but kind of boring, so each of those elements left me wanting a little bit more. And on top of that the mechanics implemented into the game are very repetitive and irritating in some instances, I felt like some of them were added just to extend the experience, without adding any content. Other were super simple, but took time to wonder around and waste time on accomplishing something banal. I was also slightly disappointed with the fights, even though I was not expecting too much out of them in the first place. Regardless the low rating I am giving to this product, I think this is the game everyone should try and have their own opinion, things which were pissing me off may be seen as a good qualities by someone else. Good things: graphics, story, sound

    Best game ever!! ❤️ The development of Senua as a character is just the best I have ever played. As simple as that.

    Я не понял этой игры и не понимаю высоких оценок. Для инди проекта это ещё неплохо, но мне не сильно вкатило. На один раз, выбить платину и забыть. Ничего запоминающего нет, а прикол со звуком по началу стремный, но потом привыкаешь и все. Боевка средняя, история просто непонятная, но хоть не долгая - на неделю можно растянутьЯ не понял этой игры и не понимаю высоких оценок. Для инди проекта это ещё неплохо, но мне не сильно вкатило.     El juego más conmovedor que he podido jugar y disfrutar que me emociono y aterro por igual, Senua se transformó en mi segunda heroína favorita después de Aloy, aunque la historia y complejidad de Senua son inigualables, adoro a Dillion y adoro cada parte de la historia. Un juego altamente recomendable que te dejara con un vacío existencial y con ganas de más. Amo a Senua.

    It was a unique and exhilarating experience. The gameplay, atmosphere, graphics and art-style are all incredible. I must play for anyone looking to play something special.

    Played this early 2023 on ps5 with 60hz turned on- this game still looks better than almost everything released in 2022. This game feels like it was made for me, the quest through hellheim being paired with this girl's madness makes for the coolest envioronments and design in any video game I've played. They already killed it with the first installment, now I'm going to buy an xbox x just to play hellblade 2 because I'm that confident it will be a major event for me.… Expand

    I feel tricked. I thought this would be an innovative game.     I feel tricked. I thought this would be an innovative game. This is at its core mechanically a very simple-minded casual game with a very basic not think-trough (because of the camera) fighting system that bases too much of its strengths only on the main character while also trying to be dark,
    but its darkness is fully gimmicky and has nothing to do with real-world dark psychology. Also, that throws the idea of "this is a visual medium, show, not tell" out of
    the window. So it takes the worst writing lessons and the whole time just tells you 90 % of the story throw constant monologues through readed text.

    So if you like story games where the screenwriters constantly just tell you how you should view something and tell you what something is like and tell you what somebody is like and tell you how you should feel about it instead of just showing and leaving you to have your own conclusions... Boy oh boy, you will definitely love this one:]

    The scenery is always closely the same but with different effects put on it like fire, shattered glass, or "drowsy", such great stuff. Also making half of this game looking for shapes in the environment that is mostly in different shades of grey while the character covers 1/3 of the screen because of the camera placement simply proves that in the end makers of this game had no idea what they were doing, and definitely no clear vision for this game. So 80% of it is exactly like a walking simulator. As I said, it's a game for casuals. Just so you know. I didn't know. Because all the reviews I was reading of this game didn't mention it! Also, it wasn't marketed that way! If that is "not being tricked" I don't know what is. Maybe It would be ok but the story is too busy trying to be artsy to be actually good and showing me why should I care about anything. The music is good and there is definitely too little of it. By the way, the main protagonist is the only thing that looks good (amazing even, such beautiful eyes!), everything else just doesn't (I love how corridor structured the game is, or how some of the grass has textures and some not, or how your hands clearly don't touch the doors that you constantly have to open again and again and how many textures in the scenery look like ps2 game (i hate this line but I ain't joking here) so on and so on...). And unfortunately, all of those close-ups of her face to show off the gimmick made her acting look forced and not natural (it feels more like an over-excited movie art student who couldn't hide the excitement of making a movie!). It takes you out of the experience too much. Well... I could go on and on and on. But I stop here. You get the idea.

    I hate that a "Story game" now just means a game where they talk a lot:) Because when we have movies where they "talk a lot" that definitely means we also have a great story here, are we not?:)    … Expand

    Boring puzzles. People liked it because of the I'm not even sure actually. If you like walking with voices in your head with crap combat you will love this game.

    ¿Un pequeño equipo de unas 20 personas creó esta maravilla de experiencia? GRACIAS. Un juego más que notable en todos sus aspectos. Deseando más de Senua.

    I will just go straight to the point. Despite all the glowing reviews which I can agree to disagree, I must say this "walking simulator" left me feeling utterly unimpressed.

    -The combat was about as smooth as sandpaper.

    -The story was so forgettable, I'm already struggling to remember any of it.

    A solid 2/10 for me.

    This might be for some people but i was expecting a combat focused adventure with creepy vibes. what i got was boring basic combat annoying constant voices unbearably slow pace and constant infuriating puzzles. Uninspired viking zombies that looks like it was ripped straight from god of war. Needless to say i hated this and was annoyed i wasted money on it

The game is held back a lot by it's Incredibly pretentious story and choice to explore psychosis through the protagonist.     Really great immersive game. It really pushes you to think. Atmosphere which is created is really ominous and oppressive. Graphics are beautifull. Story is emotional. And narration really fits the game. Overall its beautifully depicted sad and tragic story of loss and heartbreak. 8/10

    Hellblade has interesting ideas, concepts and moments of psychosis. Unfortunately, the gameplay is absolutely awful. The puzzles are tedious, repetitive and poorly design. The combat is mediocre and the pace is really messy.

    This game is insane! Evem though When u turn the game on and it gives u a warning that it mimics psychosis it doesnt prepare u for what happens next! Put ur headset on and get ready to feel uncomfortable! controls are easy to understand and gameplay keeps u excited and busy. Highley rec to anyone looking for something different.

    Hellblade is a really unique game.I dropped this game for years for no reason at all and decided to restart it and complete it recently and I really do not regret this choice. It's a really good game with nice graphics and great presentation.The sound design is really what sets it apart from other games ,it's really one of the best ones I've met in a videogame.Moving on    Score: 8.2/10

    It's a really good game with nice graphics and great presentation.The sound design is really what sets it apart from other games ,it's really one of the best ones I've met in a videogame.Moving on to the gameplay ,I have to say that it's really good and responsive ,also giving you the idea of permadeath pushes you to actually try hard to do well.The story is also fantastically written with the ending being the cherry on top ,giving you an entire different view on things, I will not spoil it ,but it's a great reveal that pieces things together into a magnificent piece .The bossfights were fun and unique ,I can't say I enjoyed the last one though ,even if it made sense story wise.The puzzles were really good and interesting,I also enjoyed listening to the lorestones' stories about the Northmen.Oh and last ,but not least the voice acting is extraordinary,it really brings the characters to life.

    Now moving on to the negatives. There is little enemy variety making things kind of tiring by the end ,the game is short so that saves it kinda.Another thing is that I did not enjoy the first parts that much and I understood why I dropped it back in the day.

    Overall, Hellblade is a very good and intriguing game,much different than the average successful video game and definitely should be on ones backlog .    … Expand

    Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is a prime example for anyone making the case that video games are a powerful art form. Creatively ambitious, it’s exceptionally well-thought-out and implemented – making it striking at both a sensorial and psychological level as it delves deep into an exploration of life with psychosis. It has its gameplay flaws but remains must-experience for adult audiences. An instant classic for this generation.
