Fun little indy title that mashed up several genres. It's quite original. While the first hour i wasn't really impressed and everything felt too simplistic, the game started opening up after that. Combat still is simplistic, but it's fun enough and can be challenging. RNG is a big factor in this game, but (for me) that makes it all the more exciting and it fits well in this game. I reallyFun little indy title that mashed up several genres. It's quite original. I'm hoping in the future they can add some other game mechanics and lots of new cards. I really hope it sells well so we can see an expansion or a sequel. Lots of potential! It's not perfect... there are some bugs here and there, but havent encountered many at all. also, there's a little screen tearing here and there, and during combat with lots of enemies you can get some hickups and lose a bit of framerate. But overall, a very fresh, fun and engaging game. Hadn't heard about it at all before i saw it on steam last week (but i do own the PS4 version) Usually i don't like to buy games so impulsive, but i'm glad i did. Expand

This is a very fun game if you enjoy playing board or card games with friends and have a little imagination. If you ever played Arkham Horror, DnD or a similar board game and wanted to actually fight rather than roll dice, this game may be for you.

    Pros:
    - Phenomenal voice acting
    - really unique and good looking art style
    - fun story telling and encounters
    - well balanced, can become a stiff challenge
    - story and endless mode

    Cons:
    - combat merely gets the job done
    - bad load times
    - slow down

    Overall: enjoyable game.
Glad to see a Kickstarter gaming project coming to life. Happy that I backed it.
Very interesting mix of card playing and adventure-fighting. The gameplay is flowing well, with only minor delays when loading cinematics (minor point). Good variety of cards and effects. Good rapid progression of the gameplay difficulty to ensure the player remains stimulated. I

I only wish there was more story information about who we are, what we are doing there and where this is all going. Why are we playing with that Dealer? The studio developed nice little story for each of the key bosses. The voice over was worth waiting for. For a small independent studio, this is a great job.

I bought this game on the PS4 expecting little but getting a real reward in return. In this game you will play against the dealer, who lays out cards on a table and you as the wondering hero have to select the cards one by one reaching the end of this dungeon (in cards) by reaching a stair, forest path etc.

Its a dungeon in cards that variates everytime you play depending on the random aspects and on the cards you choose to include. You will find cards that help and try to end your journey along the way.

The game offers RPG like progression, combat sections, choices that lead to unexpected treasure or death and overall for this small price the game offers dozens of hours of fun. Recommend !

Interesting game that has a ‘Magic-ish’ feel to it. Accumulate cards to use as you draw them. Like another person said, sometimes it gets a little buggy (choppy video, once lost all sound), but worth the price of the download. Mini-missions, games can be quick or take longer, downside is there is no save option DURING a quest, you must wait until the card game is over. About halfway thru the Story Line, and played the Unlimited game mode. Not complicated and the combat is simple but every once in a while you lose a battle (which really hurts the ego)! A fun game to play nonstop or to play 15 minutes at a time. Expand

The game is really interesting to play for a while. The idea is pretty refreshing! However the combat is pretty bland after a while. Resembling the Batman style fighting but less animations.

Hand of Fate has some minor issues, but it's a unique experience that ties in a few different game styles. Random generation gives it some legs, and it looks like they're putting a lot of work into the DLC too.

Смелое решение на стыке жанров карточных игр и рогаликов. Для инди очень даже неплохое развлечение на несколько вечеров.

Hand of Fate is a devastatingly addictive adventure game that mixes card collecting with fast-paced third-person action and board games. Although full of disparate ideas, the game is never confusing. It has a few technical issues and I would have preferred a way to continue, but none of that should keep you from experiencing Hand of Fate.
