    This game has sparked an interest in anime that I didn’t know I had. I would highly recommend this game to anyone who enjoyed the PS2 game, as well as anyone who wants to check out a series that has withstood the test of time.

    Last Recode is a very well done compilation, which includes three games that never saw an official release in Europe and a brand new fourth one. That's a lot of quality content for just fifty bucks.

    .hack//G.U. Last Recode is an incredible package of remastered games. Three excellent RPGs from the PS2 see new life once more along with a new finale. Improved visuals and gameplay refinements make them look and play a lot better than before. The extra layer of polish on it shows when you compare them to their PS2 selves. It’s a magnificent bundle for .hack fans - new and old. Hopefully this time, .hack is here to stay.

    .hack//G.U. Last Recode is a great attempt to modernize an older franchise. All the improvements made by CyberConnect 2 were not only needed but welcomed. Sure it still suffers from designs of its time but that shouldn’t deter you from a good overall experience.

    This title which includes the three original games plus a fourth one, totally new in the series, offers quite a number of hours with an interesting cast of characters and a story which becomes more appealing with next chapter, besides a simple but enough combat system. However, the graphical quality despite seems good in some aspects, in others seems obviously outdated.

    .hack//G.U. Last Recode gives you good bang for your buck, with an original chapter as a bonus. The game has aged a little, technically and gameplay-wise, but the vision of CyberConnect 2 is still fascinating after all these years.

    Recién acabo de completar el volumen 1 y he de decir que estoy muy encantado con esta remasterización. Hace cosa de un año o dos, pude jugar aRecién acabo de completar el volumen 1 y he de decir que estoy muy encantado con esta remasterización. Hace cosa de un año o dos, pude jugar a su versión original de Ps2 y he de decir, que los apartados técnicos los han mejorado notablemente. Y ya ni mencionar que encima CC2 nos brinda con un episodio extra de esta magnífica saga.

    En resumen, si te gustaron los 3 volúmenes de Ps2, ya estás tardando en comprar este remaster.

    Y para aquellos que no hayan jugado aún a esta saga, daré razones para hacerlo:

    PROS

    -Una historia y ambientación impecables
    -Unos personajes muy humanizados, repletos de carisma y con los que rápidamente lograremos empatizar.
    -La sensación "ficticia" de estar viviendo en un MMO, intercambiando armas e items con NPCs y demás, consultando foros, intercambiando emails con nuestros compañeros fuera de "The World" se hace una experiencia agradable y como pocas.
    -Su banda sonora, espectacular.
    -Las voces originales en japonés son sublimes.

    CONTRAS

    -Aunque ha sido mejorado, su sistema de combate sigue siendo muy limitado y algo soso
    -La escasa variedad y pobre diseño de mazmorras, a la larga, se hace repetitivo y puede llegar a cansar.    … Full Review »

    The same addictive gameplay, the hacker mode to play if you only want to ply for the story and jump to the 4th chapter in ease. Not forgetting the work in the HD is beyond good, i can´t play again my ps2.
    This is the real .hack GU collection.
    Really I was missing this franchise but play it again in this graphics and generations make me happy.    … Full Review »
