Habroxia 2 knows it’s not reinventing the wheel, but it settles for a fulfilling campaign that will hold your attention from beginning through New Game Plus. With a rewarding upgrade system and sturdy presentation, this is gaming comfort food for those who grew up in the arcade era, and it comes recommended if you’re looking for an old-school shooter to blast through in a few sittings.

Habroxia 2 is a modern gamer's idea of what retro shoot 'em ups were like but it's far removed from what made the genre special.

It is a charming game made by a small studio. It is clear a lot of care went in to the creation of this game. If you have played games with twin stick controls in the past, you will find the game is not overly difficult. This is mainly due to a robust upgrade system. For those looking at trophy lists. This game has a farily easy platinum trophy! Full Review »
