Guns up is a great free to play game, and would have been a fantastic regular game. But, yet again the f2p model fails to contribute, and it feels like you waste a lot of time doing stuff that you could just pay 2dollars for.

Guns Up!

Guns up! A not very popular premise but definitely worth it. A game with simple and fun basics can be dangerously addictive. The alliances, the daily rewards and things like wanting to get better veterans or finally beat those opponents with 3 skulls makes you want to go in every day and play this wonderful game. The graphics are simple but well polished that in the end they look pretty good if we accompany it with the wonderful playability and gameplay. The idea of the cards that we can obtain and use in attack is fantastic and they give it that special touch when it comes to playing. Some things could be improved, such as that the developers continue to update the game and do not leave it abandoned as it is now, the loading times on PS4 are somewhat long and the lack of music makes the little that there is tiring and repetitive. Definitely a hidden gem on the PlayStation store. 9/10 highly recommended to play it, and you will probably like it a lot. The game has a lot of potential and is very good, congratulations to the developers and let's fight! Expand

Guns up is a free to play game with console quality. It looks nice and my only major complaint is load time. The game is completely playable without spending any money, so you only have to pay if you feel like supporting the developers like I do. I still haven't spent money, but I will probably spend 5 or 10 in the future. Also, please note that the only 0 so far is just someone who doesGuns up is a free to play game with console quality. When I first downloaded Guns Up I loved how it looked.. but I didn't feel like I was really doing much.. I wasn't effecting the outcome. I was about to give up on it when the game opened up, and I understood what I was doing. Especially in the very fun CPU Defense mode (unlocked at lvl5).. Moving assets just a tiny amount can really impact your ability to achieve a good result. I have to say that this game while not being perfect, for a free game is absolutely worth a download. For the amount of time that you can sink into this game is crazy. You are bound to get about 50hrs out of a free game that requires not a dime. You do not need to worry about build timers and troops are like decks that don't force the user to spend $4.99 on speeding up the troop timer. Its truly a World War Two Clash of Clans game that requires no money be spent.

This game is a solid 8/10 a great game and if you are bored this game can surely left you out of that gaming drag we all suffer from.

For what it is (which is an absurdly fun, money-grab tower defense), Guns Up delivers on what it was meant to. This means both the fun of building up your base or detroying other player's bases' and the ever agonizing feeling of having cash advantages shoved in your face will be lurking behind every bullet your expendable soldiers are shooting.

If you have a PS Plus subscription, there will be some neat advantages that will surely give you a headstart, so might as well give it a try and decide if the game is worth some of your money. Repeatedly.

A game that revolves around one simple premise. Your troops are too stupid to destroy the walls your opponent uses to funnel them into his guns. Another in a long series of pay to win, cheaply constructed, money pits.

I'm sorry, but this was horrible. At first, it was good but then the developers got lazy and just made a few crappy tweaks to the game.

This game is awesome, well the idea and concept of it is. However or but ,This game cheats, has too many bugs in it and is constantly crashing. This game is all about making money for the Developers and Play Station. Everything is the opposite in the game also. It is also very selfish and greedy when rewarding you.

For a free game it's very good. Played for a few hours straight and didn't get bored. Yes the layouts are the same but difficulty increases. Few different game modes which are enjoyable and the PVP is fun too. Not loads to do yet is still fun.

Guns Up! is another free-to-play to game that you either like it or you don't. For someone who BARELY puts money into these games, Guns Up isn't a bad experience. Sadly, FTP will never go that route and will continue to do what this game does...shine in mediocrity. Expand

guns up is a good and free game, it is quite good to play with friends, it is a tower defense too good and entertaining capable that the only bad thing is that the game is no longer played by so many people and does not receive much support from its creators but it is entertaining.

It’s a shame Sony’s shutting this game down in April of 2023… I personally think the game is great. I don’t know why people think it’s not good.

This is a clone of Warfare 1917. It plays well and is quick to pick up. It's got a fun albeit indistinct art style and the action is really nicely animated. Unfortunately it's quite clearly a Pay-To-Win mobile game despite being developed by a Sony (1st party?) development studio. A lovely chunky art style may lend a certain jolliness, but ultimately, it's a bit too lightweight and rather too tight-fisted to really satisfy in the long run. [Feb 2016, p.87]

A mobile freemium game in a poor disguise, then, Guns Up! feels soulless, with all the variety locked-up tight, early on, behind level gates and constant, nagging pleas for cash. [Feb 2016, p.90]
