What should be a sleek and swift experience feels like a local train stuck in traffic, a metaphor that the game emphasizes each time that it chooses to momentarily strip Kat of her powers.

Gravity Rush 2’s personality and unique, physics-bending gameplay make it so unlike any other open-world game that it gets my whole-hearted recommendation, despite a few faults.

Gravity Rush seemed like an oddity on Vita, but then, the entire Vita was an oddity, wasn't it? On the radio friendly unit shifter that is the PS4, however, Gravity Rush 2 still seems wonderfully unlikely and out of place. What a strange delight. [Recommended]

Though Gravity Rush 2's seemingly bottomless charm does much to make up for its pedestrian characters, it can't quite cover the game's considerable design issues. Most frustrating is how reluctant it is to fully embrace its intoxicating "fly anywhere" sensibility.

I can’t summon the necessary bile to truly dislike Gravity Rush 2, nor can I summon the necessary warmth to love it. In the aftermath of its grand finale I was exhausted in every way, happy to have gone on such an epic journey and just as happy that it was finally over.

Ultimately, Gravity Rush 2's biggest problem may be explained away as an ungainly leap from handheld game to console game. Instead of creating larger and more elaborate challenges around the game's wonderful core mechanics, Japan Studio stuffed this sequel full of undercooked odds and ends.

Gravity Rush 2 is an ambitious game, an open-world title without vehicles to drive or guns to shoot. It feels like something many critics and fans have asked for, a new kind of blockbuster that deemphasizes violence and weapons, making room and time for some bigger and more audacious ideas. Like Kat’s control of gravity, it sometimes loses control, and soars off into an unexpected and unclear direction. But like the free fall, the adventure is most enjoyable when you relax and simply see where it takes you.

Great graphics, stunning and beautiful living world, an interesting plot, excellent animation, fantastic destructible objects, blurred motion makes the picture even more stunning, design and animation of monsters also creatively great! Don't miss this beautiful adventure! Full Review »

Excellent game definitely an improvement from the first game while keeping the core fun intact; if you have a PlayStation 4 this is a mustExcellent game definitely an improvement from the first game while keeping the core fun intact; if you have a PlayStation 4 this is a must buy, in a market overrun with first person shooters this is certainly a very welcome breath of fresh air. Gravity Rush 2 improves on the Original by So Much. it adds loads of new stuff while bring in the old stuff as well. So far GR2 is much betterGravity Rush 2 improves on the Original by So Much. it adds loads of new stuff while bring in the old stuff as well. So far GR2 is much better as the limitations of the Vita isn't present here. The personal camera is great, the Costumes that you get at the start are the same ones from the DLC in the First one, and the treasure hunts are fun and sometimes hard depending how hard the person who took the picture wanted it to be as you randomly get pictures for treasure that you need to find based of that picture. I finished chapter 1 and once you hit Chapter 2 its a lot better. Trust me...

I loved the art style of the first and glad back and improved to utilize the power of the PS4. The Cut-scenes get confusing like always but its still good and great to look at with the Motion sensor features. some other new features like the First person Camera (was in the original but only worked when stationary, now it isn't and you run around in First person, makes closer combat a bit easy as the camera can be a bit iffy at times.

the Challenges return and are just as good and improved with the improved mechanics for a few of the abilities Kat has. the new camera that you get lets you not only change costumes but add props that you can use in the world, and is used in multiple missions. the world is bigger than the original with the rift like planes bigger than before with the main world having 4 parts like before but each one bigger than the first because of it being tiered. the new powers "lunar' and "Jupiter" extend the combat with more ways to play to suit your style and with the addition of Talismans which improve certain aspects to your abilities in all 3 styles.

if you played the first, its a no brainer to get the new one. 10/10
