    I played Grand Theft Auto: Vice City - Definitive Edition in 2022 and thought it was a good game that I liked.

    Its bad. Really bad.

    Gave it a try with lowered expectations because of the warnings and they are indeed warranted. It feels like it handles worse than the original. There are songs cut. The graphics are bare minimum. The city is less alive than it is chaotic. There was no real effort to improve this game. It's just a a cash grab. What a shame.

    The game brought some good nostalgia however with the nice graphical upgrade it’s very disruptive with some lighting and shadows. Things spawn in weird and plays like it got a half-done remake, the control upgrade is barely helpful and I’ve experienced a couple game crashes on the PS5 version. Still fun if you got to play it free but I’m not sure the 3 games are worth the purchase.
