    Amazing game with very enjoyable main characters. There really isn't enough space here to do the game justice. The addition of the on-line mode is also a huge bonus and brings more fun to the party. Graphically stunning and huge world in which to cause havoc in. This is the first version of GTA5 I have played so it is a very big upgrade from GTA4 on the PC. Better than San An? NotAmazing game with very enjoyable main characters.     Simply stunning and a perfect reason to delve back into the best game of 2013 or if you didn't own it on PS3 you should get this definitive version. However if you dont like GTA it's not going to change your mind.

    The only game I've got all Achievements for on 360 -AND- Platinum Trophy for on PS4. Despite baffling UI decisions, this game has compelled me to put hundreds of hours into it. An absolutely stunning game.

    I normally don't comment on the reviews others give, because most of the time I think that's pretty lame. But not giving this game the credit it deserves seems very odd in this instance. I played GTAV on PS3 and it was really good considering the age of the hardware. But this is just so much better on PS4 - to the point I think THIS is how it was meant to be played to start with.     First person view makes this game WAY Different experience and I love it. I kinda wish you could make it 3rd person view for driving AND first person for walking around.

    You wont find a game better than this when it comes to sandbox play and open world scenario.
    It's really really good.

    Sure, it's raw and hard. But it has also been slapped with the "mature" rating. Keep your kids away from it.

    Everything is working like a charm, I have never seen sucha well polished game

    GTA V on PS4 is awesome wow Los Santos looks incredible the detail rockstar put into GTA V is incredible this is by far the best remastered game on PS4. Yes it is the same game from the PS3 version. But you cannot look past that rich detail and incredible graphics to be amazed at this game. Apart from the enhanced graphics you also get more cars to hijack and more weapons to buy. And GTAGTA V on PS4 is awesome wow Los Santos looks incredible the detail rockstar put into GTA V is incredible this is by far the best remastered game on PS4.     One of the highest scores is not a shock for me... What is though, is that Rockstar outdo themselves with every new GTA! It is out of this world what they have done in this game... This is like a Matrix you want to live in! Everything brings so much joy: bike riding, shooting, driving, flying, swimming etc. The story, as always is superb, packed with unique incredibly funny humour youOne of the highest scores is not a shock for me... You can go anywhere and do whatever you like unlike many other games that claim to be open-world but really aren't such as The Witcher 3, Dragon Age, MGSV etc...

    I didn't    GTAV is the best game I've played on the PS4 so far. Why? Well everybody knows what this game is. It's an open-world sandbox game filled with so many activities and is not afraid of letting you do what you want to do. You can go anywhere and do whatever you like unlike many other games that claim to be open-world but really aren't such as The Witcher 3, Dragon Age, MGSV etc...

    I didn't bother with the single player mode because it somehow feels heavily scripted and linear, which I feel confining and restrictive in an open-world game. If this was a single player only game this will score very low. The 3 characters are unlikable and you can't relate to any of them let alone care about their lives and story. Spent about 2 hours and gave up. Jumped straight into online mode. And omg online mode where the game shines.

    You create your character and basically do activities to earn money to buy cars, apartments, clothing among other stuff. There's lots of missions available, or activities such as team deathmatch, races, capture the flag and many more. You also have heists, vip activities etc. Now imagine all this activities being played out with other actual online players and friends. That's the beauty of it. Or if you like, just mess around in freeroam in 30-player lobbies (which is what I like to do with my friends).

    The online mode is being updated on a regular basis and you get new stuff to buy or new activities as time goes by. So much to say but I think you get the overall picture. It's an awesome game and I'm having a blast playing it almost every night. Rockstar, GTA6 doesn't need story mode, just focus on online and give us an even more epic awesome online game EVERRR!!!!!!     GTA is in league of its own. Sheer size of this game is mind blowing. The city is huge. Everything and anything is interactive. Anything that you see in the game you can go and visit. I cannot think of another game that is that impressive. PS4 graphics are beautiful. City looks great in the morning, at night,. All these negative reviews. Get a life.

However, I also heard a dog barking. I had never heard a dog bark in GTA before (maybe I just hadn't noticed). So I walked around in search of this dog and found it, digging in garbage cans.     I played gta5 on ps3 and xbox360, but I have to say that the ps4 version is a great relaunch in every sense of the word.

    Graphics:Very nice,the textures,details everything is top notch,and crisp. Sound:great sound track and sound effects,weapons, vehicles,all is great. Controls:are tight and responsive, a few hick ups here and there but still great. Overall: Great game.     Rockstar have done it...again! GTA V has endless amounts of content to access and endless amounts of great fun to be had with. The open world is the best one yet with a vast array of things to see ranging from the streets of Vinewood to the crime ridden streets of Strawberry to the beautifully detailed terrain in the countryside and the enormous mountains. Pros: - Significantly improved and stable frame-rate - First person mode (changes the entire way you play the game) - Higher resolution - Driving acceleration torque control is similar to that of Forza Horizon - Lots of added bonus featuresI have owned both the previous versions on Xbox 360 and PS3, and I have to say that they managed to make one of the best games of all time even better.     Maybe I'm not as nitpicky as everyone else out there, but I am having a great time with this game. Graphics are definitely better than the PS3/360 versions, I think it looks amazing. The updated first person view is fantastic, but could use a little bit of smoothing out...but overall it's solid. I would definitely recommend picking this up!

There simply isn't a dull moment to be had in GTA 5. I felt last year that it was a next-gen game on a last-gen console, and the release on PS4 has only confirmed that. The 60 FPS, amazing draw distances and incredible eye of detail make it feelIt's impossible not to get absorbed in to this game world... You can really get in to it and see everything this incredible world has to offer. There simply isn't a dull moment to be had in GTA 5. I felt last year that it was a next-gen game on a last-gen console, and the release on PS4 has only confirmed that. I loved the game when it came out on the 7th generation hardware (putting in 100 hours of single player playtime and even more for the online portion of the game).     Over the years since the game first arrived in 2013, many voices have spoken out about the negative aspects of the title. The confusing character motivation, the muddled plot, the over-abundance of micro transactions in the online portion. I can understand each of these points however, the reason i give this a 10 is because despite these issues i still find myself jumping back into this game to this day, even after several 100 hours of playtime i can still have a great time doing wanted survival runs in single player, or playing the ridiculously constructed custom race courses in the online portion.

    To summarise I feel that this game push the limits for the xbox 360 and ps3, and i think in some aspects not even the majority of ps4 or xbox one games have been able to match it yet.

    Pros:
    - Great value for money
    - Top level graphics for an open world game
    - Much improved controls over prior rockstar entries
    - Strong Online Component that gets regular updates
    - Solid motion capture performances from Steven Ogg, Ned Luke and Shawn Fonteno
    - Much improved mission quality from previous GTA games
    - Varied and impressive track list selection
    - Useful and fun video editor feature
    - Improved graphical performance and additional features over previous generation version e.g. first person mode

    Cons:
    - Story can become convoluted and muddled in certain parts
    - Character motivation can also seem muddled and inconsistent    … Expand

I've played through the campaign maybe three/four times in total and have sunk a couple of hundred ours into it in on PS3 and PS4 combined. Admittedly this time round I was starting to get bored of the story but the gameplay felt great as ever.     Antialiasing has improved significantly. I have a 720p television and I'm sure on a 1080p set it would look even crisper. FPS drops unfortunately occur in some of the busier parts of the city if you are driving super fast but this is not a regular occurrence. There is a fair amount of pop-in (sometimes) but nothing terrible, I hardly notice it now.

    The most exciting thing about GTA V is the detail of the world and that is something best left for you to discover yourself. There is so much to do here besides the campaign so you won't be short of activities for many, many hours. I fail to see why Rockstar is pushing GTA Online as heavily as they are. Online is good fun but it lacks all the subtle touches of the main game.    … Expand

    I was originally only going to purchase Far Cry 3 and Dragon Age: Inquisition today, seeing as I have already put in over 150 hours on GTA5 on the PS3. Once I figured out that the online data transfers over I changed my mind. My God is this game better than ever! I am having a blast showing my girlfriend all the characters and stories. Of course, this is going to be the game that I end upI was originally only going to purchase Far Cry 3 and Dragon Age: Inquisition today, seeing as I have already put in over 150 hours on GTA5 on the PS3.     This is not merely a port , many new things have been added into the game , still filled with believe-able and powerful characters and a magical vibe found in Rockstar's masterpiece improved and remastered.

    Close to perfect. We all know what GTA games are like so not too much to say really, except the main characters, especially Trevor, and story are a standout. Graphics are ok but it's really a PS3 game so wasn't expecting ground breaking. It's a must have game if you don't already have the PS3 version

First person is awesome, the atmosphere is even more awesome. It feels like GTA V still but with so much more. Not just a cheap better gfix upgrade with extra frills. They went the whole mile with GTA V NextAmazing. The best remake to ps4 and probably the best PS4 game right now to own. Ahead of its time....Old and new players will love it.     Bought this game on my PS3 and then PS4, definitely worth the repurchase. Enjoyed playing through the whole story again with nicer graphics and new features. The story, as always is superb, packed with unique incredibly funny humour you can't get enough of.

    Grand Theft Auto V is even better on the PlayStation 4. It's still the same amazing game, but the new features just add up to make an unbelievable experience. This is just a perfect game.

    GTA V is next to San Andreas the best in the series. The three characters add a depth of storytelling we have never seen in a GTA game before. Each characters story will appeal to different people and you will have a favourite by the end. Michael is the ex-gangster come family man who can’t escape the life of crime. Each story arc unfolds beautifully through great cut scenes and some of the best missions I've played in a GTA game.

    The heists are particularly impressive. You have to choose how to complete a heist, then gather the correct equipment for example stealing a submarine and gathering intel before undertaking the heist which will involve swapping between all three major protagonists. Missions are varied and I never got bored playing, when the game ended a wanted more which is a good sign considering I'd been playing for around 50+ hours which included messing around and some side quests.

    The map is impressive, highly detailed and well designed, the different locations are all beautiful in their own right. The vehicles look and feel awesome and all have a unique feel when driving.

    The graphics are a massive improvement over the ps3 version and more detail has been added. The first person view adds an element of freshness but is a slight gimmick as I preferred playing in 3rd person, but this is not a complaint as it's a nice additional feature. I liked switching to 1st person view in Helicopters for some reason, it just felt right.

    The soundtrack is awesome as usual with many different genres to suit your mood. The radio and TV shows are hilarious and a joy to listen to while cruising around.

    If you have not played GTA V yet I would highly recommend it. If you've played the ps3 version I'd say it is still worth picking up as the game is so well made and detailed. All in all a fantastic and memorable experience.    … Expand

    Simply the best looking game so far on the PS4. Tight controls, so basically playing GTA5 on the PS4 is a blast. I say it's a given buy if you haven't played it already on PS3/360, and still worth buying if you have. I hope for more titles on par with the mechanics of this game.

The only let down, and not a fault of the game but rather the users of the game, is the ability to play heists. You can connect to a game, watch the cut scene and somebody will drop out, subsequently ending the mission. This doesn't alter how much I have enjoyed the game though at all.

    I was skeptical about the online mode at first when playing on PS3, but the PS4 copes with it much better, as well as allowing twice the people in one session. Playing tennis or golf with an online friend is a great laugh, and even cruising in a friend's car is somewhat relaxing.

    Technical stuff now. Graphics have been given a drastic overhaul, though it's only evident when you go back to PS3 after playing the PS4 version.     Amazing, outstanding, polemic, great argument and plot, memorable characters and most important: unforgettable. Perhaps since RE4, Metroid or even Ocarina i haven´t play a game like this. Some minor slowdowns that does´t affect the brightness. Los Santos is a really nice city that must be explored and lived.

    Rockstar are genius, they have brought a new way to play this game and it really works. The graphics are superb. The characters are even better the second time round and I can't fault this game even if I wanted to.

    The tiny little touches in the game really make it what it is, if you need proof, go onto youtube and search for them. The attention to detail is mesmerising.

    If you have played this before on a previous console and enjoyed it then I suggest you get your wallet out and get buying. If you have never played this before then lucky you and get buying. If you don't like this game then..... oh well

    There are more cars, more animals (including cats and dogs), but only in singleplayer mode. The online mode loads faster, there are 30 people on it, and it runs smooth. The graphics could be better but let's be honest, we're talking about a huge open world game, no loading screen when you enter a building, tons of npc's, tons of little details, and new easter eggs (check the peyotl plants).

    Another good point nowadays : Rockstar. They learned from the online launch fiasco, there were some problems the first day but everything is gone now, They really solve your problems, with that little extra (I had not received my 500.000 cash bonus, they solved it in 3 days and added 200.000 GTA$ for the inconvenience. What else ?

    This is just how a game comapny should behave. No DLC's but free updates and new content during the whole year, and comprehensive support team. 10/10

    Most of the negative reviews are coming from the "PC master race", and they haven't played it yet, so there you go. I'm sure they'll do amazing mods but they need to calm down on the console reviews. If you haven't played it yet, go for it, you won't be disappointed.     Great work R*. The extra additions to the game have made it well worth coming back for. Easily one of the best titles on the PS4. I found myself stopping my car to get out and just check out the new updated graphics. The grass looks amazing. The view distance is so much better! Great Work!

    The most fun game ever, a must buy for any PS4 user. Great gameplay in both story mode and online (a few glitches though and pretty long loading times). There has never been a game like it and the graphics are absolutely astounding, breathtaking especially the landscapes!

    This game is great, a masterpiece! Now with first person, everything I ever drempt about is real! Running around and killing random folk with a axe? Robbing a bank? Driving a high-speed super car? ALL IN THE EYES OF THE CHARACTER! Very immersive, so much more than the old gen version! And the graphics? Don't evan get me started. Great game, worth your £50 all the way.

    A must own title on your PS4. There is nothing to hate about this game, maybe the fact that rockstar allowed to import the characters is a dissapointement to new players. Most of online is crowed with super high levels, so not fun when you try to climb the ranks yourself for the first time.

    ~The graphic and physics/movements are extremely crisp and vivid. Characters in cutscenes look life-like.
    ~The lighting is very well done - the way sunlight reflects off buildings and the way streetlights reflect off of rain puddles is amazing
    ~Added some cars and guns to the already large selection
    ~Rockstar Social Club allows you to design some cool stuff for your online "Crew".
    ~Vehicle damage seems to have gotten even more accurate and in-depth
    ~A large amount of new material, overall. Not just a rehash and re-release

    CONS:

    ~In first person mode while in a car, the rearview and sideview mirrors do not work correctly. They look blurry and distorted
    ~I have noticed very slight texture pop-in on some buildings while driving (probably happened twice in 10 hours of gameplay)
    ~You are required to complete the GTA Online Tutorial before you are allowed to invite friends or join up with friends online. So, if you click "SKIP", you will be forced to delete your character and re-create him/her. (Could not find any way to re-do the tutorial)

    Overall, I would recommend this game, even if you have already played it on the previous generation of systems. GTA V is a masterpiece of a game, and with this remastered version, Rockstar has made it even better somehow.    … Expand

    truly masterpiece, undoubtful 10/10 for me. fpp mode changes the game (and the series) into something totally new. havent played gta v on previous generation consoles, but im thankful for the remastered ps4 version. probably a new benchmark for couple next years.

Now with the smooth game play and "first-person-mode" WHICH I LOVE!!!!!, you can really get to grips with environment, and get completely lost in THEE BEST open world-adventure game ever made!

    Another small thing that is small but makes the experience more enjoyable is the Dual-shock 4 features, from flashing rend and blue during cop chases to police radios and phone calls coming through your controller. I love it, sometimes it make you jump and say what the f*ck when you are playing but whatever.

    The new first person feature is pretty cool, to me its nothing amazing. It is not bad for gun fights or just walking around although there are some minor bugs that could be patched. Driving cars on the other hand is nearly impossible. There is little to almost no way of keeping the car somewhat on the road. They should also make the side mirrors reflect everything behind you. It would make it easier to drive and add realism.
    One thing they did really well was the focus during gun fights. the graphics look really cinematic in first person and the zoom ability to be able to look down iron sights adds to it greatly.
    Although I do not love this feature it is okay, it does not make or break the game for me and it shouldn't for you. I mostly don't like it and don't mind not using it because I am used to GTA being third person along with all other games similar.

    As far is the story goes, I like it. Unlike the other reviews here saying its horrible and you cannot follow it, you can. It is not hard to follow at all... It isn't anything gripping or amazing it is meant to be more entertaining and that it is. I laughed my ass off a few times already and i'm sure ill have many more laughs to come especially online with my friends. Oh and lets be honest, I do not play the game for the story I play it to cause mayhem and make the experience great for myself and I am sure i'm not the only one. So make the best of the game think of things you can do to make it great.

    As far as online goes I am yet to play it on PS4. I will today with my buddy and ill be sure to update everyone.

    Overall the game is amazing and it packs a lot of fun in a small package. Solo is great with or without the story. Graphics are improved. Some small bugs but nothing major. I would recommend the game to anyone. It gets two thumbs up from me. I will be doing a video review soon on my channel in about 4-5 days so I get more gameplay and footage.     The same gta 5 from the previous generation of consoles only the ability to play in first person. Enough said? Yes. People may complain about online. However, for rockstar servers they are doing pretty good. Rock star always has **** servers. Remember red dead.     A huge game. I mean, it's been about 6 years since GTA IV for a reason. The map is gigantic, although I have to admit many other games are close (if not the same or more) in size. The storyline is probably the longest I have ever played. When I say all of this, I'm not counting the previous GTA games, for the record.     • The first thing I dislike is the wait for the installation it takes a while for it to download when I started to install it it took me up to at least three hours till its complete.

    Everything is perfect in this game. Gamplay is amazing! best combat gameplay ever i can say.you never run out of things to do and if youre bored you can grab a bike and go motocrossing in the mountains. It is a complete game. A perfect game and everybody should play it.

The beautiful environment of the rural area,the detailed building,roads, vehicles in the suburban area and the humans and animals are again detailed made this game a modern masterpiece. Graphics are outstanding and gives life to a fictional city.Main protagonist who are very fun and exciting to play and a world were you can pretty much interact and do anything you want.

    Grand Theft Auto 5 is a **** great time. Characters like Franklin, who is calm,smart,ambitious and rational, Michael a narcissistic but a likeable person, Trevor is a difficult person to deal with: extreme, impetuous, vengeful, psychopathic, unhinged, unpredictable, untamed, infamous, homicidal, and prone to violent outbursts and destructive rampage which I **** love.Those three characters have great chemistry and fun to play. The story are interconnected, each has it's own missions culminating to an ending where they work together(Option C) or Franklin will decide who to kill(Option A&B). The story is not as dark or realistic or as interesting as Grand Theft Auto 4, but the story gives more of a satire feelings or the game is a one big great satire of a typical American household.And what Grand Theft Auto 5 done right is the customisation and variety of vehicles, places, people, clothes, shoes, guns and so much more. Grand Theft Auto 4 is grounded reality and dark Grand Theft Auto 5 is a complete of opposite of it. There so many improvements to the game and gives so much things to do and lots of fun Easter eggs. On the other Aiming mechanics,stealth crap are better than ever.

    Love this game, I bought it day one for xbox 360 and now I have it with the PS4. Minus a few setbacks, this game is amazing. its not even worth the time mentioning the drawbacks. The new first person mode and even the updated music for the radio stations make the game feel fresh still more than a year later after release.

    No entiendo por que ningún madrileño en esta página...pero al tema...este es un claro juegazo con una primera persona increiblemente diseñada,gráficos realistas,buenas misiones del modo historia,online prácticamente insuperable. Y lo más importante es que ofrece cientos de horas de diversión.

    The original game was a 10/10 , and the game only got better with a first person option, and noticeably better graphics. Great campaign, fun multiplayer. It's a game thats hard to get bored with............

    The first game I purchased with my PS4, GTA V is a gripping, fun, action paced title that will leave other games gathering dust on your shelf. The Graphics are crisp and clear and the characters somehow feel real - you get to know them all individually as the story progresses. If you're a fan of previous titles then you'll love this. If you aren't then this may be the one to convert you.

    This game is epic it is the best game i have ever played. The graphics are amazing and the game is a blast to play. The singelplayer is great with 3 character and a great story. And there are a lot of side quests. And the open world is one of the biggest open worlds ever. The only drawback is it's lack of customisation of your character in singelplayer.
