    Fun game but the game itself is very very broken!! You need to have hacks to be able to play it because that can prevent other hacks from working on you. And Everyone will try to grief you, and the game servers are very very bad sometimes you will be able to play one job doing a evening and maybe none at all depending on your luck.

    This game is by far the most overrated game of all time in terms of its story. In stark contrast to GTA IV, the story focuses on overly satirical (satire, in this case, that lacks humour to a great extend) jokes and the complete exaggeration of their characters. Take, for example, Trevor Phillips. Trevor's violent behaviour and sociopathy is exaggerated to the extend where it feels forced.This game is by far the most overrated game of all time in terms of its story. In stark contrast to GTA IV, the story focuses on overly satirical (satire, in this case, that lacks humour to a great extend) jokes and the complete exaggeration of their characters. Take, for example, Trevor Phillips. Trevor's violent behaviour and sociopathy is exaggerated to the extend where it feels forced. Niko Bellic, GTA IV's protagonist, has an actually interesting story behind him: a soldier with all of his friends killed in an explosion, a backstory which is actually integrated into the gameplay of GTA IV. In GTA V, Trevor is just a man-child who was rejected from flight school or the military or whatever, and turned to a life of crime. There is no actual reason revealed for his 'mental instability' and it makes his character feel incredibly dry. Additionally, during the playable part of the story, nothing tragic actually happens, the only hint of it is when Trevor's friends die in the first mission, one of which turns out to be dead, and when it is revealed that the other is buried in his fake grave (which, realistically, would never happen, it only serves as an illogical plot point in-game), the acting is so unbelievably dry that there is no actual sense of tragedy or emotion. In GTA IV, through the use of actually good actors and a good story, this isn't a problem. Plus, the characters are so dry that by the end of GTA V's story, choosing and ending doesn't even feel like an emotional choice, and I don't feel the attachment to the characters that rockstar so clearly intended to put in place by the end of the story.

    While the game's story is terrible, it is made up for by gameplay. Even if a tad easy, the gun mechanics are seamless and there is no RNG involved in the completion aspects of the game, when compared to the brutally luck-based hunting mechanics of RDR2, almost a polar opposite in gameplay quality and story quality (if I phrased that badly, I'm trying to say that the story of rdr2 is great but the gameplay is not). The special abilities of each character makes the gameplay more fun and is a good feature. The heists, and the options for each of them, are very fun, and show the extent to which rockstar programmed the gameplay.

    In conclusion, and looking into the future, I think that GTA V is overall a 6/10. It has an abomination of a story, with no emotion attached whatsoever, but very good gameplay, a 10/10 in my opinion. With gameplay being more important than story, I think a 6/10 would be justified. The future release of GTA VI, when looking at the current decline in story but the increase in gameplay of the GTA franchise, will probably result in a story that is a completely effortless and terrible, but some amazing gameplay and unique mechanics.

    Fun for a while, but it doesn´t do anything particularly great. The sandbox is the whole point but it gets old fast. A jack of many traits but master of none.

    Gta 5 is a good game but it is extremely overrated. The fact this game is getting perfect scores is ridiculous. The story and characters are great but the gameplay is clunky and FILLED with glitches that never get patched. The graphics are okay but nothing special. The 3rd person shooting is mediocre at best and playing online is just filled with hackers.

    One of the best selling games of all time and while I must admit that it is fun, it had one fatal flaw for me that ruined the experience. Upon finishing the story, I had every character invest in the cigarettes and then did the assassination mission, only issue was that the game didn't give me any stocks but did take all of my money.     I truly love this game, it gives me so many memories, the story is really good, the map is ICONIC.

    I just have one major complaint, after completing the story and all of the side quests (at least on console since PC has mods) there’s nothing left to do, in RDR2 you had a ton of side quests, legendary animals, treasure maps, secret encounters, it was nearly endless and I just don’t feel    I truly love this game, it gives me so many memories, the story is really good, the map is ICONIC.

    Gta 5 es un juego muy mediocre con una satira americana muy basica. Tambien es estremadamente facil y con una trama que queria ser espectacular pero a costa de tener muchos agujeros de guion y no ser interesante no como san andreas y el 4

    Multiplayer, i just ride around, listening to music.
    looking at how, in order to get anything, i need 9000 hours of grind
    Turn that cash in for some cars, and shirts. Every single second of it all
    Just cosmetic, and worthless.

    The single player story is really well written and very enjoyable to play although i think it was quite short still fun. The online portion of the game can be fun at times until met with multiple hackers making it unplayable.

    In 2014, I had just graduated high school a year ago. Now, I'm almost 30 and getting ready to settle down and start a family. This game has been released for the umpteenth time. Stop! Stop re-releasing this game! Just stop! It's had enough! It's tired! It's fatigued! It's sleepy! Please, goodness sake, make and release another game. It's well beyond time!

В 2015м купил её же на PS4, обновлённая графика, режим    Пишут, что игры GTA - великолепные игры!     Короче, скажу сразу, в эту версию я поиграл часов 40 наверное! До конца, признаюсь, не прошел.
    Объясню почему.
    Хотя, в игре не плохой графон, который и сейчас неплохо выглядит.....
    Сюжет, на мой взгляд унылый. Он однообразен. 95% всего времени ты с кем то болтаешь. Болтаешь всегда, со всеми, в машине, в сортире, в постели, на улице, во время заданий, ВСЕГДА! И всё это море диалогов, переведено только субтитрами. Я пытался читать их, по возможности, все, чтобы не потерять, как говорят, "идеальную" нить сюжета. Через три часа у меня слезились глаза и болела голова! Короче забил и за сюжетом наблюдал особо не вникая.
    Теперь геймплей. На 80%, как во всех GTA, он состоит из поездок на машинах. Так как, я сугубо отрицательно отношусь ко всем покатушкам в шутерах, этот самый геймплей, для меня, оказался достаточно унылым.
    Теперь персонажи. Ну более менее мне понравилось играть за Майкла, нормальный, зажиточный неудачник, решивший тряхнуть стариной. Не знаю, мне, почему то, его было жалко. Тревор же, один из персонажей, которого мне захотелось самому застрелить, после одного часа игры за него. Удивительно противный персонаж.
    Самым скучным, на мой взгляд, оказался негр с мудрёным именем Франклин. Абсолютно безыдейный персонаж.
    Я, скажу честно, играл через силу.....СКУЧНО. Думал, ну где же, тот фейерверк идей, тот невероятный поворот сюжета, тот захватывающе разворачивающийся геймплей? То, за что так высоко оценивают эту игру! Где? Как я говорил, прошел, где то, часов 40 и...... ничего не поменялось, я сдался.....СКУЧНО! А, почитав в интернете сюжет, просто охренел когда понял, что не дошел даже до середины! СКУЧНО!
    Неет, это не для меня, извините!
    Между прочем, я спросил своих знакомых, кто купил эту игру и оказалось, о ужас, из 7 человек, ни кто до конца не дошел! Очень интересная игра!
    Господа разработчики, может скоро, вы будете делать сюжетные, однопользовательские игры длиной в 1000 часов, их будут хвалить, может даже высоко оценивать, но никто не сможет пройти их до конца. Вам это надо?
    Игру я удалил, но вспомнил о ней через года полтора. Дай думаю на свежую голову допройду, может быть. Но каково же было моё удивления когда я не смог найти ни одного активного задания! Где их брать и, что делать я вспомнить не мог. Поэтому, побегав по городу часа два, я удалил игру и, думаю, уже окончательно, к сожалению!

    Story is great but world is limited to your fun.
    Police AI is complete joke and will not let you enjoy any freedom of gameplay. I also miss cheats like in San Andreas.

    The game is very good actually, sure the physics is kinda downgrade, the story is a bit boring, but at least it's better than cybertrash 1976.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. 7.5/10 Before you try to find my address in an attempt to kill me, I just have to say that I will have free tacos waiting for you outside. I respect how this game has had such a ‘profound impact’ on the video game industry, it is the best selling piece of entertainment! The Good: The graphics for the weapons, cutscenes and oceans are absolutely incredible and breathtaking.
    Trevor is an all-around flawless character, he was written perfectly with the exact type of dark humour that I love.
    Lamar Davis is a great side character, we all know his hilarious “yee yee ass haircut” scene, but he is also easily more likeable than the other two main protaganists (excluding Trevor).
    Trevor’s rampage missions are hilariously fun and there should have been more in my opinion.
    The torture scene in GTA V is the only part in the game where it gives you freedom to torture this man in any way you want, it may be disturbing, but it is ‘TREEeVVOOORR’ fun.

    The Bad: How the game absolutely limits your creativity and treats you like a goddamn five year old, the previous Grand Theft Auto entries allowed you to be as creative as you wanted to be with the missions, this game insults its’ players intelligence and makes most of our decisions for us.
    Michael De Santa (Townley) is a typical American dad (asides from the bank heists and murder) and his character failed to interest me at any time. The game makes us try to like him, but how mean and downright horrible he is to Trevor just makes my dislike for him grow even more. (Not insulting Ned Luke’s great performance.)
    Franklin is portrayed as your typical African/American guy, once again failing to interest me as the player, considering that he is the ‘main protaganist’ you could see how this pisses me off.
    The ‘open world’ doesn’t feel ‘open’, it feels empty, the stranger missions are great, but they are way too easy and end way too quickly, some of them feel forced in, just to make you (the player) want to needlessly play the game constantly. The collectibles are spread EVERYWHERE across the map, they are so far away from each other and it just feels superfluous and have no real purpose to be inside the game, besides for 100% completion and ‘achievements’.
    Worst of all, the story is just plain uninteresting, it’s heist after heist after heist, giving you no real reason to stay engaged with the game. - Also, online is hella ga…    … Expand

    Unos de las campañas más flojas de la saga gta, rejugable y divertido pero muy flojo en historia como narrativa y bastante repetitivo, personajes Trevor de lo mejor, Michael aceptable, Franklin de peor personajes de gta, ojalá lamar fuese su cambio

    The best aspect of this game is the intresting characters and the great sense of humor along with the well recorded voice acting. Otherwise, it's mediocre. The gameplay isn't that good, except the driving, and while there are a lot of side quests, the map doesn't have too much exploring, because it encourages driving from location to location mostly. Nonetheless, it's good.

This is the part that can make this game extremely unenjoyable. Rockstar over the past 4 years ruined it. They started adding in things that did not fit the time period the game was set in like the oppresor bikes (flying motorcycles with lock-on missiles) or the deluxo (The DeLorean with lock-on misses which can also fly). There are still many things in GTA Online that don't fit the time period. Not only that, but many tryhards abuse these overpowered vehicles to wreak havoc on the servers. The balancing of these vehicles is horrible which is why many players want them removed or just have other public servers where they are not available to use. Also, Many Vehicles and properties are extremely overpriced with probably over half the vehicles being over 1 million dollars. This makes the game very grindy which is very tedious in the game. It forces you to spend many hours doing very repetitive and boring missions over and over again to afford 1 vehicle. The multiplayer can be fun, I still have some good memories of this game when I'm playing with my friends, but most of my memories of this game are me being attacked by its Gta online's toxic community. Moving on, the servers for the online are terrible, to say the least. I have lost count of how many times I have been disconnected from the server. Sometimes when I'm playing with my friends, it will be hard to do anything because often times one of us will disconnect before we have done anything. On many days I have disconnected from the online mode 4+ times. This can be infuriating because the load time to get into a server is usually 4-5 minutes IF you actually get into one. There has been a glitch where you can be waiting forever and it will not put you into a game which then forces you to restart the game. On bad days this can happen multiple times. Going onto glitches, they are rarely patched unless it is a money glitch. I have experienced bugs that have been in the game for YEARS that have still not been patched. Smaller problems I have with the game include the very janky walking/running controls, Online characters are completely silent and never talk, framerate is worse than many other open-world games, on PS4 it usually averages around 15 FPS. Amount of people you can invite to your CEO is only 4 players. Many vehicles are underpowered such as the B11-Strikeforce(A-10 Warthog). For some reason, kill/death ratio is in this game. This stat is completely useless as K/D really means nothing. Anyone that has a high K/D usually just kills defenceless new players over and over again. The combat system in this game is awful. The aim assist is way too strong, I have been shot out of my helicopter many times even when I'm flying fast because it's just that strong. I think that is most of my problems with the game. Overall, Grand Theft Auto 5 is fun in some areas, but severely flawed in many others which is why I give it what I would consider a generous score of 5/10.… Expand

    The game is good in all but there are so many glitches in this game only 30 to 60% of the glitches gets patched and updates are very space.

    Grand Theft Auto 5 is a great looking game no doubt and the story best one so far, the issue as to why the game scores low is due to the horrible online experience as they slowly turn into a Saints Row esque type of gameplay. Flying bikes? Cannons? This is not Rockstar at all and I ended up quitting the game.

    GTA V's main attractions, for me, were, roaming around the vast open world and exploring everything it had to offer. The shooting mechanics are repetitive and the controls are considerably bad. I would recommend the online, only to those who have friends to play it with. Otherwise, playing it alone feels like a constant grind to gain more money, which doesn't bring you much satisfaction.

    Even for someone, who is not really into gangsters world, it can be satisfying and engaging. It's nearly perfectly made, full of details and still looks beautiful. Personally, I didn't like the idea of three playable characters, especially Trevor. The plot would be more interesting for me if it was focused on Michael. I feel that the story of a rich, depressed gangster would be moreEven for someone, who is not really into gangsters world, it can be satisfying and engaging. It's nearly perfectly made, full of details and still looks beautiful. Personally, I didn't like the idea of three playable characters, especially Trevor. The plot would be more interesting for me if it was focused on Michael. I feel that the story of a rich, depressed gangster would be more cinematic and realistic.… Expand

    No me convence este juego, si buscas diversión pegando tiros como un loco, te lo recomiendo, pero si buscas profundidad en la historia y personajes, no es tu juego.
    GTA V es corto de cojones, a comparación de lo que nos suele ofrecer la gran compañía de Rockstar Games. Pero, bueno, disfrutable, disfrutable es, pero, a medida que va pasando el tiempo y lo vas madurando, te das cuenta que    No me convence este juego, si buscas diversión pegando tiros como un loco, te lo recomiendo, pero si buscas profundidad en la historia y personajes, no es tu juego.
