    Incredibly bad, amateurish and worthless "remaster". They couldn't even improve past issues/bugs and also created millions of new bugs. Just cause you copy+paste same Palm trees all over the map and copy+paste new grass textures doesn't mean you can ask 60 dollars/euros for it. This is biggest joke i have seen in gaming, on same level as Cyberbug2077. You promised quality of lifeIncredibly bad, amateurish and worthless "remaster".     The high resolution / revamped lighting mixed with the old animations is just.... .... it don't mix well at all. It's actually kinda funny.
    Horrible game!!! They copy everything from PS3 Version ! You can’t reply to people conversation! You can’t Extend Gang Territory! Bugs & Glitches! The weirdest thing is the draw distance. It has    Feels like a mobile phone port put on a console...eh

    The weirdest thing is the draw distance.
    It has completely ruined San Andreas... the map looks tiny, like some kind of condensed Fortnight map.
    It's particularly abhorrent when you can see Las Venturas from Los Santos or Mount Chilliad from Santa Maria beach.
    The limited draw distance worked to the games benefit... it made the map seem huge. Now that sense of scale and wonder have been completely ruined. Not even a slight haze like in real life... :(

    To say that I am disappointed is to say nothing. Once again I was convinced that Rockstar is not the same, since they give their great games to just anyone.
    1) Bad optimization
    2) Horrible character models
    3) Bugs
    4) Unreasonably high price
    5) Intimidation and lawsuits against moderators
    All this makes you give a bad rating to your game.

    This is it! This is the end of Rockstar, this is just too much. This is unacceptable in so many levels, i cant even find the right words. This so called definitive edition is one of the most pathetic remasters of all time, especially considering how amazing Rockstar used to be. They were the top. They were the best there ever was. This remaster is extremely ugly, buggy and has so many issues with character models, etc. They didnt improve almost anything. AI is worse than ever, no swimming for 3 and Vice City, no climbing ladders for San Andreas, no cover system, nothing new. Where are there quality of life improvements and *much more* that they promised in NewsWire article? And now they ask 60 dollar for this. Whoever worked on this have only slight experience in photoshop, thats it. They have no idea how to program new things. This is most amateurish product, billion dollar company has ever released. I absolutely dont care that Rockstar North didnt work on this. They hired the studio, they green lit it, they were okay to release it in state like this. Its all on them. Everything. Now Rockstar Launcher has been down over a day, i cant even play Red Dead Redemption 2, because it asks me to connect to internet and i cant do that, because launcher is down. This is ridiculous. They have milked GTA Online over 8 years and thats all they are capable of for now. Yes Red Dead 2 was great, but that was 4-5 years ago. Thats a long time. I have zero hope for GTA 6, absolutely none. I bet it fill be with short story and extreme focus on online, i mean who know, maybe whole game will be just online, but im pretty sure they will design GTA 6 map, so it would mostly fit for online.     There are a plethora of issues with the games. The same old bugs can be found, carried forward from the PS3/Xbox 360 versions. Character models look weird and misshapen. There are missing textures and objects. I understand there are licensing issues with some songs and that they have to be removed, but the games just aren't the same without them.

    If you're going to name the game as the "DEFINITIVE EDITION", then at least put some effort into actually fixing it before releasing it. Why Rockstar allowed this studio to butcher the same game TWICE is beyond me. This trilogy is nothing but a quick cash grab. It is not worth your money.    … Expand

Почему в вашем "окончательном" издании не вода, а ,сука, покрашенная ртуть? Почему ракурс прицеливания, как в шутерах от третьего лица на Unity? И, в конечном итоге, что с неграми? Почему они черные нахуй?

After watching the trailer and the gameplay that was merged the day before the release, I realized that I would not even go into the Definitive Edition, and what to go there, everything is already clear from the trailers and gameplay.

    If T2 and Rockstar Games didn't need the money, they would have made a good remaster, but the reality is upsetting.

    I have been a lifetime fan of the GTA series, I've played and owned all of the version of these games since the originals, and still do until this day for the sentimental value. I have since bought the so called Ps2 trilogy with "improved graphics".

You guys are afterall the creators of these iconic games for many people. How could you create such an unfinished product, and more to it think that it would be acceptable. I don't want to give examples of other developers who have recent released remastered that are truly mesmerizing and meaningful. From the graphical standpoint, to the gameplay itself is not worthy to be called the "Difinitive Edition"
    Seeing what your policies look like in recent years truly breaks my heart. Horrible effort. I hope nobody else buys this crap, so Rockstar for once in the recent years actually pay attention to the gamers and not just milk a bad product just with the name....    … Expand

    While it has its rough edges, Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition is a worthwhile remaster of three classic titles. Its visual overhaul prevents these games from feeling overly dated, and the quality-of-life improvements modernize the experience in a way that meets today’s standards. Sure, its new art style and character models won’t mesh well with everyone, but it may grow on gamers as time goes by. And sure, while these aren’t the “definitive” editions we expected, this is an admirable attempt to introduce three groundbreaking games to a new generation, and I’m glad it exists.
