    Don’t believe the haters everybody. I swear to god 90% of the people hating on the net haven’t even played the game! Game is an utter joy to play with the controller. Best GT game I’ve ever played, tbh. Everything feels just so polished, just perfect. From the slick menus over the amazingly well put together soundtrack, which feels very GT but still more fresh and modern, to theDon’t believe the haters everybody. I swear to god 90% of the people hating on the net haven’t even played the game! Game is an utter joy to play with the controller. Best GT game I’ve ever played, tbh. Everything feels just so polished, just perfect. From the slick menus over the amazingly well put together soundtrack, which feels very GT but still more fresh and modern, to the spectacular graphics, even on base PS4, I think I didnt have this much fun in a racing game since over a decade. The lighting in the game is just something that needs to be seen, the level of detail on the cars has just to be admired.
    While the car and track list seems on the lower side, it doesn’t bother me at all. The new campaign mode feels substantial on its own, with additionally highly customisable SP races. The new progression system constantly rewards you for racing in the game, be it upgrades, cars or money. The new excitement and variety the Sport mode adds to the game looks like it will carry the series to whole new borders. I frankly think it’s the best and most fun implementation of online in a racing game I’ve ever seen. I’m actually also quite impressed with the new AI. Cars behave very naturally and dare I say human, try to stay competitive and put on a fight at higher difficulty races.

    The sound of the cars, the old step child of the series, has drastically improved. It sounds generally very convincing, differentiating between the different views, pops and crackles, great use of environmental reverb in the fascinatingly good and close to real life looking reviews. Developer Kazunori Yamauchi’s interest in artistic camera work shines here as does it in the new photo and Scapes mode, where one can put the beautifully rendered cars in stunning real photo environments, all with the correct light situation resulting in breathtaking shots, if the player is willing to dedicate some time. Same goes for the new livery editor. Gamers will lose days and weeks over those modes, I sure did already.

    If you’re only remotely interested in cars, buy this game. It’s more than a game...it’s a work of art.    … Expand

    This game is incredible. great graphics, the best lighting in a racing game, the best replays. The gameplay remains incredible, You do not need a steering wheel to make great times on the track, joystik responds with a unique precision. AI has evolved a lot since the last version of the GT series. One word: amazing...

    The released version of GT sport impresses with stunning visuals and the superb handling we know and love Gran Turismo for. The approach for the online match making is also great and I hope that we will see fair and great racing in GT Sport.

    As it is now, it certainly lacks a bit of content (I especially miss tracks) but I am very positive that we will get this content soon.     This has got to be one of the most weirdly underrated games of all time. Unless you're a pleb with no internet or an xbox fanboy, then you're gonna have a good time, especially with a wheel. Not to mention there's a heap of 'offline' stuff anyway.

    In my top 20 games of all time & still putting out free monthly DLC 2 years on. Bravo

    Underrated by arcade lover fake fans. This is a great racing experience well-balanced for every type of player yet people complain lack of arcade stuff that never was necessary. They cry about it only because of nostalgia factor.     Best looking race sim out there. The competitive focus of the game compensates for the hours of gameplay that are lost in the lack of a campaign mode. This game is about quality over quantity and captures well the spirit of GT games in the atmosphere, soundtrack, visuals and respect for racing. Content wise it is not so strong, however with promises of more cars and tracks to come, I doBest looking race sim out there. The competitive focus of the game compensates for the hours of gameplay that are lost in the lack of a campaign mode.     The most well polished GT game ever with the second best/most realistic gameplay and force feedback on console (second only to Assetto Corsa), and a solid base for what could very well become the overall best racing game ever made.

    They've done so many things to fix the problems of past GT games like poor sound, poor AI, poor online racing, poor UI, unpolished graphics, poor framerate (GT6), etc. and they've literally fixed all of those. All of those factors are now fantastic in GT Sport, as well as the things GT has always been known for.

    Yet now you have people whining about something else proving you can never satisfy everyone. They said this was to be an online focused GT game, and it is. People came in expecting the traditional and overdone GT career mode, and it's there but shorter and different so they whine and cry about it. News flash idiots, EXPECTATIONS HAVE NO AFFECT ON REALITY. The game is what it is, you not doing your research into what this game would be does not change the legitimate quality of the game.

    So many reviews on here are straight up lying as well. IT IS NOT AN ALWAYS ONLINE GAME. These people are being completely misleading and dishonest. It is playable offline. If you have no connection to the internet at all, I wouldn't recommend it because you'd be limited to only a few cars and 3 tracks, but it is still factually not an online only title.    … Expand

    People seem to complain about microtransactions. I have to disagree with them, because in-game credits are really easy to earn, therefore you do not have to pay with real money.

    I have to rate this game 10/10, because they also added legendary le mans cars such as R92CP, Sauber Mercedes C9, Jaguar XJR-9, Mazda 787-B.     Graphics is very nice, online mode with sportsman ranking is also very nice... I have nothing to compain to. Maybe I do not like that you have to be online even though you want to play single player. Still 10/10    … Expand

    This game got me into cars. It's the most fun you'll ever have driving virtual cars in a video-game. The online mode is outstanding and the issues re: lack of content have more or less been addressed at this point. Plenty of fun to be had. I've been playing it for over a year now and have no reason to stop.

The UI and overall presentation of racing is one of the sleekest / smoothest I have seen. I just started playing this game and have barley scratched surface but there is a form of spirit and love in this racing sim which shows throughout this title. Sure it's not perfect but I haveGT Sport is a piece of art and a wonderful tool to make u a better driver. And gear u up for online racing.     - The gameplay is out of this world. GTS has one of the best, if not the best, racing simulation ever created. You can feel the tension of running on a track, feel the cars weight and how it interacts with the track... the driving physics in GTS is unprecedented, a huge improve in the series. GTS is addictive. You just want to play more and more
    - We know that GTS is focused on online racing, but the modest campaign mode brings fun challenges to killing some time ... and get some trophies...
    - Online races are so fun. The lobbies have been perfectly crafted for a great experience with other players, you can even interact with them (CHAT, yeah there's a text chat inside gts *-*)
    - Social: there's a charming social network integrated to the game, where you can share screenshots, comment and enjoy other players content, follow users, publish your own liveries and download liveries from others users to use on your cars. This aspect is perfect for the GTS.

    The bad

    - The list of cars at launch. It could have at least 300 cars. They will add a lot more with DLC, but it's a disappointment here.
    - No rainy weather so far. I don't care about dynamic weather and I don't know if they will add this soon, but the lack of rainy weather at the launch disappointed me

    VR: Unfortunately I haven't tested the VR mode, because I don't have PSVR. I should get one soon tho.    … Expand

At first i was a little disappointed that the campaign is a little lackluster and that weather effects are missing at launch, but after racing online and striving to level my driver rating i totally forgot about those short comings and i doubt i will spend much time in the campaign at all.

    I've been reading some reviews that talk about the lack of a campaign and realize that if these people dislike GT Sport for this reason then they, in my opinion, really don't care for racing sims in the first place because anyone that loves a challenge will find it in the online racing. It's kind of like someone being upset that a EA sports game doesn't have a campaign. Would it be nice to have a story mode for NHL 18? sure, but believe me when i say that the last thing on those players minds is a story mode.

Yes, the other racing simulation games and single-player career mode seem very different from previous games. However the graphics, the race mechanics and the sounds of the facts are very close.     Yes, not a huge amount of cars nor an extensive single player career. On the other hand, the single player missions, challenges and driving such will keep you busy for a long while. Where GT Sport shines is online,p. Hadn’t planned on buying till I played online races in the demo. It’s truly the best sim online experience ever. The penalty and ghosting system can never be perfect, but IYes, not a huge amount of cars nor an extensive single player career. On the other hand, the single player missions, challenges and driving such will keep you busy for a long while. Where GT Sport shines is online,p. Hadn’t planned on buying till I played online races in the demo. It’s truly the best sim online experience ever. The penalty and ghosting system can never be perfect, but I makes the online races immersive, intense and fair. Love it. And whatever the content, it’s still a true Grand Turismo game. The Scapes photo app is outstanding and already piles of people are posting their stuff.
    I’m not a fanboy as I also have Forza 7. Forza has more cars and tracks, but online is sadly a bumper car race. I do expect that to get better when the noobs lose interest in the game, so I will be back.. in the meantime only played GT Sport since it was released.    … Expand

Gran Turismo brings the visceral experience of racing against other humans to your living room. The game does an incredible job of matching your skill level to that of others for close clean racing.

    If you are looking for a copy/paste of older GT games with better graphics, this is not the Gran Tourismo for you, it is a whole new focus towards actual racing. Of which I greatly enjoyed. The "campaign" mode is simply propelling you towards being competitive in the online racing portion. Personally, I love this new focus, How much more fun is it to compete against real drivers than justIf you are looking for a copy/paste of older GT games with better graphics, this is not the Gran Tourismo for you, it is a whole new focus towards actual racing.     As advertised from day one, this game is predominately for online multiplayer. It DOES NOT have single player career mode and thousands of cars which was also stated when the game was announced.

    I don't understand all the crying and moaning about this game as they did say GTS was online multiplayer focused from the start. Obviously some people found that hard to process.     What it does have is a fair system to encourage clean, sensible online racing. No other racing game that I'm aware of does anything similar apart from Iracing which you pay a monthly subscription.

    Paying £40 for GT Sport or pay monthly indefinitely seems a good deal to me. I'm sure they'll add cars, tracks and updates along the way.

    If you like mature, online multiplayer racing on console, fed up playing multiplayer on other racing games and always getting rammed by idiots there's no other game to do it apart from GTS.    … Expand

    It seems like the latest installment of gran turismo has divided its fanbase in 2 camps. Either you love the new road Gt has taken or you hate it due to lack of offline content. I belong with the people who love it. With most race games I spend my time online racing anyway. Its fair to say that GTS is head and shoulders above GT6 in every way. The cars have more weight and grip to them, its no longer as easy to throw a car into a corner like GT6 and expect to come out the other side still doing 120mph, you really need toGT Sports is simply a masterpiece, from the jaw dropping visuals, to the slick menus, to the brilliant handling physics, "This is Sport". Its fair to say that GTS is head and shoulders above GT6 in every way. The cars have more weight and grip to them, its no longer as easy to throw a car into a corner like GT6 and expect to come out the other side still doing 120mph, you really need to break early and catch the curb perfectly to get the best out of each car, each cars characteristics are very well implemented and the cars feel alive. The Sound Department has had a major upgrade and each car sounds as they should, backfire,gear whine and chasis judder are just some of the sound effects that are present, tire squeel has been updated, sounds much more realistic and quieter as it should. Graphically GTS has the best lighting engine of any console racer to date, its simply stunning, especially with dynamic 4k HDR on the PS4 Pro, PD spent 4 years working on HDR and it shows as its the best representation of HDR so far this gen. GTS features a non traditional campaign instead focusing on teaching people how to drive, race etiquette and mission challenges which can require you to pass as many cars as possible before the time runs out or simply knock down all the cones on track. the car rewards alone are enough to encourage you to get gold in all of them, top it of with Lewis Hamilton as your racing guide to show you the fastest way around the Green Hell and the package really starts to come together. For people who enjoyed the online lobby racing in GT6 fear not as GTSports has this same lobby system but much much better, you literally have a tone of features to set up your dream races with friends and is very easy to navigate through the menus and settings.Sport mode is were players will compete in Esports competitions in conjunction with the FIA with the goal of attaining a real world racing license. All the tutorials that you will play through in campaign are designed to help you be a better racing driver in Sports mode. With dedicated servers in Sports mode the connections are rock solid as you would expect and racing is fun and exciting. Scapes, a place you can lose hours of your life snapping the perfect photo with over 1000 scapes to chose from the possibilities are endless. Livery Editor were you can create your own unique graphic designs for whatever cars you like, its something the fans have wanted for a long time and PD have delivered. overall while GTS offers less cars and tracks then its rivals, the level of detail is unrivaled and the decision to focus on quality instead of quantity is justified. With 500 cars still to come and more tracks through free/paid DLC, GTSports is going to be around for a long time. I highly recommend GTS to anyone who loves racing games.… Expand

The single player missions are fun, No need to grind as XP and mileage points are handed out generously

    J'ai pu tester la demo et je n'ai absolument pas été dessus.

    La conduite est réaliste et même un peu difficile en enlevant les aides.

    Le jeu est vraiment joli et propre, même sur PS4 classique.

    J'ai vraiment hâte 'avoir le jeu en main pour y passer plusieurs centaines d'heures.

    This is the best racing multiplayer you can get (on PS4), and I know them all. The matchmaking mechanism is perfect. And this game looks and runs beautiful. With the new campaign and all the other solo achievements and unlockables this truly is a game (not just a simulator) for that you want to come back again an again, to discover it, and beat it, and beat all the other guys out there :)

    This game is a load of fun, and I have played every GT in the series. While I wish there were more tracks and cars, I understand what Polyphony was going for with this game before I bought it. Hell, they even released a demo. So I do not care for others complaining that this is not GT7. You should had done research and tried the demo.

    That said, the game has become addicting. To me, it is the OverWatch a online sim-racing. I get home, relax, and then spend about 2 hours a day progressing through Arcade races, getting better at the Daily Online races, and earning credits to build my garage collection. I haven’t even started the “campaign”, and I have 8 hours in the game already. GT has always been about getting the best time on a track and beating the opponent. That means racing the same track over and over until you nail it. I am 3 hours into Suzuka with a GR.4 car, and I still have not hit 1st place on a Professional Arcade race. I am great at setting hot laps, but I need work knowing when to pass people legally, or get the most out of an apex. This game pushes for these things. I don’t need to beat AI over and over again when, instead, I could be getting closer and closer to 1st place against real people, who all try to race clean and fair.

    If you enjoy GT physics, sounds, and presentation, then you will get that here. I came for the Time Trials and the fun online competition where people try to be good racers. I have done the whole campaign thing 6 times now, so I don’t need that here. But if you need the 100+ hours of campaign AI cups, then stay away from this iteration. This title is for people who want to prove they are the best out there, while staying clean, not ramming, and enjoying some of the best competitive cars you can get.

    Honest review 8/10

    10/10 to counter some of these nostalgiac nay-sayers, who have not removed this game from the numbered Gran Turismo series.    … Expand

For example, the developers finally delivered on a promise they’ve been making for years, and that’s smarter drivers. I’ve noticed on numerous occasion when I’ve driven off the road and blindly pulled back into traffic, that the CPU driven cars avoided running into me by swerving around my car. In the past, they’d instead show no regard for the player’s presence on the track by plowing into them, and push their car out of the way and keep it moving. It’s a delightful sight to behold, while racing and during replays. This adds yet another layer of realism to the game for sure. I’m starting to see that technical polish was done during that 4-5 years of development. If you’re looking for more of a single player experience though, get Project Cars 2, which is also awesome. Or get them both if you can, like I did, you won’t be sorry with either.… Expand

    The cycle of gameplay is: race cars in 2D, earn money and daily gift car, go into VR to admire recently acquired cars and then take them for a test drive. Rinse and repeat. I'm totally hooked on this routine.

    The graphics, sound, music and presentation are all pristine too.

    One of the best exclusive racing game to date and it is the real driving simulator, you won't enjoy this by just using the controller, play this with PSVR, Thrustmaster T-GT, Playseat Challenge, 4kHDr55" TV and Logitech Z906 5.1 channel. The gaming experience is one of a kind for sim racing lover.

    I see some people talking about always online and the lack of in-depth singleplayer as a dramatic minus without which they can't live... you're crazy.

    GT Sport is an online focused competetive racing title which actually gives you the challenge to battle against real opponents as opposed to more than often old and boring singleplayer AI. It was also advertised as such. Online play is what the games in the future will be all about besides strict RPG genre, and even that is debatable. Racing games especially should and will focus on multiplayer. You can already see the trend going towards this direction, since it's much more enjoyable for customers and easier for developers. Most people playing the games have internet these days, always online is not a problem especially when it's working fine on the server's side, and so far it has been working great in GT's case. Current singleplayer content is more than enough to satisfy multiplayer peoples needs.

    Some bashing the game purely on what they expected versus what the game is supposed to be like is the definition of human idiotism, really sickens me to see such toxicity in gaming communities.

    Judge it for what it is, not for what you'd like to see in the title which aims for completely different goals than what you've imagined.

    - Similar handling and physics to the best of the best driving simulators on the market, certainly up there and almost as good as Assetto Corsa from what simulator racers and wheel owners are talking about. All in all top notch, surely simulates real driving better than other racing games like Forza Motorsport and Project Cars ( Project Cars is debatable but if anything, it's at least on the same level ).

    - Best photorealistic graphics and HDR lighting in the full-on proper track racing title to date. - Confirmed and proved by Digital Foundry.

    - Best vehicle models created to date, completely remade from the ground up as opposed to the other Gran Turismo titles. Each car took 6 months to create, also part of the reason why there are only about 150 cars at launch. The other part is the developers had to set up the car classes for FIA championships first.

    - Free vehicles, modes and tracks with more than likely full quality incoming after the game's official premiere, which shapes up the car list number to 500. Confirmed by the CEO of Polyphony.

    - Realistic sounds, which are spot on. If you actually compare it to real life, it's extremely hard to tell a difference. They're not exaggerated, like in Forza where many cars sound alike and similar to the Nascar vehicle.

    - Multiple modes, from singleplayer normal races, through campaign events and challenges to official sport and multiplayer races in the lobbies made by players, thanks to which as a standard you're driving against real opponents which finally gives you something challenging on the plate.

    - Driver rating, which so far has worked extremely well in most cases ( in mine as well ), and gives you a fair chance of winning against the other people, by only adding up the players of your level of speed and fair play rating to the race.

    - Online connectivity hasn't been an issue on my end at all, besides the maintenances made by Polyphony. When servers were up, they were up and running extremely well. It shows a very good future for the game which bets on multiplayer.

    - VR support, which is just an addition to the game with 1 v 1 battles and overall a cherry at the top, but still looks amazing.

    Considering how many AAA games aim for online play these days, and will keep doing so in the future, this is the best GT to date that squeezed itself into the current market very nicely.

    Brilliant racer. Stunning graphics, great sim physics and FFB, decent AI and the best online mode anywhere. A real step up for Gran Turismo. Very glad they ditched the old career mode and focused only only quality, hope this direction continues.

    It is sad really that people are trying to debate 2 racing games that are clearly different with forza being arcade and gt being a simulation. Anyway this is a overall good game and is deserving of your time as it is a rather fun onlin experience with other people just be warned that offline is a bit limited.

    We won't have a 1000 cars but the ones we have are the best in any racing game (quality wise). Tracks? The same. But if you think about it, those two things can be added and integrated into the game without a problem. All the amazing game structure is already here.

    I played all the GT games since 1998 and I wasn't so stoked about a GT since the days of GT4. This is hands down a great game.

    A great car game simulator that keep great after many years. The car simulation is better than never, with sensibility as how much you press the accelerator. A great experience online that is the focus of this game. But is sad to see so many critics that don't know that this game has focus on multiplayer complaining the offline content, a shame.

    Un Gran Turismo comme on les aime, toujours cette flamme qui s'allume au moment de l'intro et qui reste jusqu'à ce qu'on éteigne la console. Merci Polyphony.
    Je voulais mettre 9, mais pour contrebalancer tous les 0 mis par les rageux qui veulent pas que GT ait une meilleur note que Forza, je mets un 10.

    You need to do yourself a favour to enjoy this game = just stop comparing it to old GT games, Forza, Project CARS, Assetto Corsa, and the rest, because this is an entirely different game compared to those and let's be honest, it's fairly idiotic to be comparing those games to each other in the first place, they're all amazing in their own ways.

    I'll be honest, I initially I hated this game, but, I was rash to judge it based on my first impression, I was foolish to believe the wave of snarky comments against it and after 1hrs I detested it, pressed eject and started playing Assassin's Creed instead... yet I found myself going back for more, and that's when it all changed.

    I thought there was no campaign/single player (when there really is one) and I failed to realise that this is basically the racing version of Overwatch = it's for competitive eSports first and foremost above all else, a mass market accessible version of iRacing that caters for everyone.

    This is not the typical Gran Turismo, it's no longer the quirky Car-PG which was cannon-fodder to jokes about having 200 variations of the Mazda Miata. This is a stripped-down Gran Turismo designed specifically for eSports and while on paper I thought "no way, that's a terrible idea", it actually works, you just need to let go of this idea that it has to be a typical Gran Turismo or has to be identical for Forza or Project CARS, because this is an entire different beast on it's own.

    So firstly, about that supposed lack of a single-player mode, it's nonsense, there is a single player mode = it's a campaign mode which I realised that it actually IS the old GT Mode that we all know and love, it's just in a more 'linear' story-mode like format with a more chronological progression instead of making you grind or giving you the ability to jump straight to beefy part of it. Put it this way: Driving School + Early parts of campaign = Licenses, mid-latter parts of campaign = GT Mode.

    I know, it sound like an idiotic change and it just infuriated me at first to the point of absolutely not wanting to give the game a change, but it makes so much more sense than sandboxing it.

    The graphics: you don't really need me telling you how good it looks because it is stunning, as a photographer with some motorsport experience I personally found it jaw-dropping absolutely jaw-dropping, almost everything is amazing, the 1/8 exposure like motions blurs, the low exposure highlights and so much more, there is an absolutely insane amount of detail and this is before I've even gone into Scapes/Photomode, but no doubt I'll find myself recreating some of my real life shots.

    The AI: So much more better, the key thing here is to make sure you have the boost turned off in the options of course, but the AI is so much better than before, they'll give you room, they'll try pass you, they'll fight with each other, take each other out, use traffic against you in endurance races and even seek revenge if you ram them now and again.

    Physics: It's not the best, but it's definitely not the worst. It has it's short comings and odd nonsensical moments, but it somehow manages to feel fun, you know it's not the best physics, but it will feel so good when you're at the limit.

    Now for the meat and potatoes: the online, your first few races aren't going to be fun, there's no two ways about it because you'll be in at the bottom with the worst of the worst, but just focus on your safety rating because once you end up being matched with the better racers this game is so much more fun, I've been no stranger to sims in the past (actual sims), and while this is absolutely no sim, I've already had some of my most fun clean races in GT Sport that I've ever had, there are some seriously good racers out there playing this.

    Obvious cons of this are:
    - Shallow car and track list, but apparently this is going to be regularly updated so hopefully it will grow, Polyphony devs/scanners have been recently spotted at several high profile races getting alone-time with cars.
    - Online only (even though it probably makes more sense than we realise)... but I've seen some people being able to play campaign while offline, so maybe this is a case of misinterpretation like with campaign itself.
    - No Group 2; I don't know what it is, or why it's missing, but I'm damn curious about what the hell it could possibly be if it appears at some point.
    - No changeable conditions (weather/TOD).

    BUT, even with these flaws and omissions from the game which I was pretty infuriated over in my first judgementally closed-minded foray into this game.... it's just so damn enjoyable.    … Expand

    But then I realized, that this online approach may work. And thats all that racer wants. To compete. Its like in starcraft, where single player is good but multiplayer is excellent.

    Ok, here single player content is mediocre but multiplayer is still excellent.

    And that is something you should realize before you buy this game.

    Everything other is same. On every step you feel the love for cars that you dont feel in other games. Advanced matchmaking system should put you into race with similarly gifted racers. Daily races give you opportunity to try short 15minutes races druing whole day without all that hassle around.

    You can adjust your cars to your like, but what is important here, you have car classes here which represent real life classes (like gr. 3 -> GT3). Cars here are factory tuned to fullfill FIA rules (its not only pushing HP higher or lower). So cars which dont exist in GT3 class are virtually rebuild to fulfill the rules.

    You can sign contract with your favourite manufacturer for whole season. You then get from him "borrowed" cars for relevant classes. And you will race with them in Manufacturers trophy.

    There is of course a lot potential for future.

    For example:
    Real sportmanship school, not only two short videos.
    More cars, veteran packs, classic supersports packs, etc... (I can imagine Ferrari, Porsche or Ford history DLCs)
    More tracks.
    Some interesting challanges for single player (like red bull challenge in GT5).

    This game is fresh restart. Its hard but try to approach this game with open mind and heart without expectations and without comparing numbers to pc2 and fm7. I tried all of them. In terms of numbers , combinations and content, pc2 and fm7 is much better. But in terms of car enthusiasm , love and admiration, gt sport is (for me) still on the top. From racers for racers!

    Just dont judge this game according to number of cars, tracks, weather situations and number of SP missions. Its not relevant.

    Of course all is promised for the future. But nobody knows how many cars, tracks and SP content will be added and if it will be paid or free.

    This is like stripped down car without radio, climatization, passenger seat but with great feel when driving.    … Expand

It was not made to have modifiable cars, a campaign or extensive car lists as past titles. If you're a sim racer you will see the similarities between this and iRacing. This is the first racing game that is officially licensed by the FIA. If that doesn't tell you how great GT is I don't know what will. Remember, this is a game to give you the best online eSport racing experience nothing more, nothing less. I personally have been in 3 races so far, each of them were podium finishes and I was surprised to find that no one rammed into me and everyone had great driving etiquette. Each time about 3-5 of us were fighting for a podium finish which gave me the biggest rush I've had in a racing game in a long time. Visually it is extremely beautiful, better than any racing titles out now (I game on Xbox One, PS4 and PC), and the sounds have gotten way better. You'll hear the whine of the dog boxes and V8's sound like V8's. The only thing I would change if I could is the FFB, I'm currently using a Thrustmaster T150 PRO. FBB in pCars on PC is crazy accurate. If you want a serious, adult racing experience go for GT. If you want an arcade pick up type game go for Forza 7.… Expand

    I see 2 extreme camps of folks. Either you have an internet connection, or doesn't. If you do already have a PS plus, with a decent internet connection for your ps4, this game is really enjoyable. There are loads of content, and I've spent time dabbing myself with most of them. I would say that I spent 80% of my time in offline content and 20% of my time in online races. I would see thatI see 2 extreme camps of folks. Either you have an internet connection, or doesn't. If you do already have a PS plus, with a decent internet connection for your ps4, this game is really enjoyable. There are loads of content, and I've spent time dabbing myself with most of them. I would see that this 80-20 ratio would be something more like 50-50 or 30-70, since there's good replayability in the online scape.

    I love cars, and I love spending time on liveries, customization. And the finale would be having a nice shot of it in Scapes Photo Mode.

    Lighting and Physics are very good. The environments isn't good, but decent. I focus on the roads, and cars, not too much on the environment.

    this is GT SPORT...Its not GT7, its not a continuation of all the other previous Gran Turismo games. Its pretty sad watching all these reviews (professional critic reviews and user reviews) reviewing it based on what they expect to be there instead of what the game actually is. Just because it holds the name GT doesn't mean it will have a career mode, and since its been clearly stated itsthis is GT SPORT...Its not GT7, its not a continuation of all the other previous Gran Turismo games. Its pretty sad watching all these reviews (professional critic reviews and user reviews) reviewing it based on what they expect to be there instead of what the game actually is. Just because it holds the name GT doesn't mean it will have a career mode, and since its been clearly stated its an online racing game since the announcement but still dropping points off of the score because it lacks something that was said wont be included shows how careless the reviewers are. Another point is the lack of cars, which again is compared to older installments that had a list of 1000+ cars, while also knowing that they scrapped most of the models and started from scratch (building some of the most detailed models I've seen in any game) which was also known from early on during the development cycle. I have been playing it for a couple of days now and I have to say I have been enjoying it for what it is...sure I'm sad that there's no campaign mode but I knew for a fact that it wasn't going to be included and I would happily wait for a campaign mode in GT7 once its announced. Now if that game doesn't include a campaign mode I'll be more than happy to be among the first to flame the game for not including it, because its what is expected to be in there, not in an online focused spin-off that just shares the name. I haven't tried the FIA races because thats not till November but the doing the challenges in the singleplayer modes and aiming for gold has been both frustrating and enjoyable. Online lobbies to screw around with people and show off liveries has also been tons of fun and lastly having a split-screen mode in 2017, especially in a racing game, is the best thing about this game. The game isn't perfect, but picking on it for not being something that was clearly stated it won't be is the dumbest thing that I've ever seen. I'd say it deserves an 8.5/10 but i gave it a 10 in hopes of this being seen and to also try and balance all the negative reviews its been getting for the reasons I've stated.     If you are more of a offline player then maybe this isn't for you. But honestly there is no better choice on PS4.

    I highly recommend this game for anyone who likes racing- and multiplayergames like Overwatch, siege, COD etc.
    I never liked the Multiplayer of racing games because there was no progressionsystem, a lot of people who are pushing you of the track, and a bad lobbysystem where you have to wait for hours to play against people who are destroying you because you are    GT Sport is perfection!

    Having played now for over a week I have to say its exceeded my expectations. Its presentation is immaculate and I sometimes find myself just enjoying listening and watching the menu screen. The online racing is cleverly designed with ease of use in mind, extremely competitive and works without any glitches or frame rate issues, unlike an other recent racing game.     Great in all areas, even in the long and fun offline "Campagne Mode". Better IA than before and wonderful inmersion and conexion with the physics of any car. IMO GTS is better than any other racing sim I have, Assetto, PCars1 and PCars2, Dirt2...

    I have a strong feeling a lot of people will update their rating of Gran Turismo Sport come the next update. There's an updated Campaign mode heading our way in December. The Sunday Cup, Boxer, NA, and Turbo fan favorite races also return. Update 1.06 gave us the Shelby Cobra, a hybrid Audi Gr. 1, and a Zagato Vision coupe.     Following the history of GT's series this is their best game since GT4, GT Sport resolve most of problems of GT5 and 6, now without standard cars/tracks and better third person camera. This game feels and looks solid, after 12 years Gran Turismo is again a real driving simulator.

    Gran turismo sport is one of the greatest racing games on ps4. It is so fun and there is so much to do. There is a freaking photo mode, where you can publish your photos of cars in different settings, its awesome. This game deserves better reviews.

    Game is great. Very good support after release. I absolutely love multiplayer which is engaging, fun and fair. There is a lot of singleplayer content and I spent more than 100h just on singleplayer.

    Na początku gdy kupiłem grę miałem mieszane uczucia, lecz po kilku ładnych godzinach gry, zakochałem się w tej grze, tym bardziej że cały czas producenci starają się uszczęśliwiać nas nowymi autami czy trasami. Gra wygląda niesamowicie, auta prowadzą się bardzo realistycznie, a rozgrywka online to coś wspaniałego.

    They had one job to do, and they pulled it off with finesse - make driving fun. This game is both accessible and challenging and addictive. The visuals are superb, the controls are refined. I don't always win, but I'm never blaming the game. Totally worth the money.

So on paper a game like grid or Forza has a lot of cars but in reality the games itself doesn’t, it’s the dlc blocked by additional paywalls. Gran turismo has quality paid dlc. Racing against The one and only Lewis Hamilton is very cool and very fun. Very unique dlc too. No other game looks as good as gran turismo and sheer level on consistent high quality shows. Most other sim and arcade titles I try don’t blow me away like gran turismo does. The other games get stale or small flaws become glaring flaws after so many hours of gameplay play. Hats off to gran turismo sport. I’m excited to watch the market begin to clone the new formula gran turismo has come up with once again.… Expand

    Really, Gran Turismo Sport IS fantastic. It's not perfection, but it really does not suck, like what these bad reviews says about this game.
    Details, graphics, musics, ui interface, physics, content, ( free dlc of cars ) replay showcase and online racing (with new penalty system), are the reasons that I really enjoy playing this game, and not buyer's remorse for me.

The Game when it was released was just an online game and with a very small car library and game had almost nothing but then they worked on the game every day and making it have numerous graphical, physical and all sorts of improvements. Gran Turismo Sport today has numerous cars and is considered by the (FIA), by the majority of World Motorsport Drivers and Builders, as the best Racing and Simulation game. GT Sport is the only game that turns players into Real Drivers and today has the greatest amount of options that a racing game can offer and that's what my grade today is 10.… Expand

From the technical perspective this game is a master piece. A lot of optimization techniques was applied and some sort of pre-rendered textures and 2d parallax scrolled layers to make such a beautiful 4K HDR in 60 FPS possible.     GT Sport boasts an excellent driving model and superb car models, but primarily it’s a paramount step towards blurring the line between electronic entertainment and sport, and on a global scale. I just hope Polyphony continues working on the game until it reaches its full potential. [13/2017, p.42]
