Buen juego, la verdad esperaba mucho menos, me gustó mucho, esos 30 dólares valieron la pena, igualmente no me gustan los furros

Best story in a video game ever. Best of the genre.

The memorable soundtrack and music mini-games help to keep the story tight. Fang's main passions in life are their musical career and their friends, and sometimes they have to decide. I immediately connected with Fang and empathised with their struggles.

The game takes about 6.5 hours to complete, but has definite replay value. There is new content to be discovered on the second, and even the third play, if you make different choices along the way.

Goodbye Volcano High is a fantastic game. There have been, and there will continue to be, comparisons drawn between this game and Night in the Woods. In a world of mediocre furry-themed visual novels, Goodbye Volcano High has unseated NITW as the finest ever made. It's earned a permanent place in my heart.

Definitely one of the best story games I've played in YEARS.

The game is capturing, the story is amazing and the songs are astronomical (Pun intended), and I really enjoyed the three full playthroughs I had and there is many more to come. KO_OP really out did themselves with this one, was definitely worth the wait. A MUST PLAY for fans of the story telling genre. Words cannot describe

"Nonbinary Arabic teenage pterodactyl battles the end of the world with music" sounds like the setup for a joke.

Instead, it's the best game of the year.

A fully-animated and voiced visual novel that feels like you're playing an anime, with a story that any open-minded person will find inspirational and shoegaze-powerpop soundtrack you'll find hard to get out of your head.

There are parts of this game that are highly relatable. You can scroll through social media and see what are essentially Tweets (or Posts, thanks Elon), mostly about the impending meteor impact, that capture Twitter (sure, X) culture with hilarious accuracy. The third act also shines, with tensions between characters finally bubbling over and leading to huge blowouts that feel very true to the nature of teenage friendships. Fang’s relationship to their parents and brother Naser also feel very complex, more than any other relationship they have with the other characters. But none of this is enough to carry the weight of the game’s slow first acts or make up for the game’s unrealised thematic potential, and that’s a shame. What could’ve been a meaningful meditation on the importance of community turned out half-baked. The seeds of something great were there, but it never quite had the payoff it deserved.
