    It's not a bad game at all, but it has technical issues and it's like a missed opportunity. However, Ginger: Beyond the Crystal is charming and perfect for children and 3D-platforms lovers.

    It may not offer much of a challenge or much in the way of innovation, but Ginger: Beyond the Crystal is a decent way to pass a few hours if you’re hankering for a new old-school platformer.

    It may sound like I’m being harsh on Ginger, but as I played through its many levels I felt the game struggled to live up to its influences where it might have been better off trying something new. Judging by the animations, the level design and the slowdown the game occasionally experiences, Drakhar Studios were held back by resources and production time, and so couldn’t deliver a polished experience.

Either way I want to leave a review because I feel this game gets a lot more negative attention than it deserves. I recall some technical issues, nothing game breaking really, and definitely some buggy trophies. If you enjoy 3D puzzle platformers then you could do a lot worse than ginger. First off, the games priced at a fair asking price of $20 full price. It goes on sale for as low as $4!!! Personally I think it's worth around 10-15$ , but considering other games can be full price of $60 you're making out pretty well here. If you like Super Mario Galaxy or Spyro you'll more than likely enjoy this title. Just go in with reasonable expectations and you shouldn't be disappointed.… Full Review »

It has a nice mixture and fun platforming mechanics and some old school gaming entertainment that is sure to please gamers of all ages and experience levels. For its one or two flaws, glaring as they may be, it doesn't deter too much from the overall enjoyment of the game. A fun and engaging story, playable mechanics, and great graphics make Ginger: Beyond the Crystal well-worth the price of the game.… Full Review »

    Me resulta muy duro criticar tan duramente un título como este, pero su irregular apartado técnico y sus mecánicas no tan pulidas lo alejan deMe resulta muy duro criticar tan duramente un título como este, pero su irregular apartado técnico y sus mecánicas no tan pulidas lo alejan de lo que debería haber sido, porque en ciertos momentos si que se ve la grandeza del título, de hacer un plataformas bonito y sin pretensiones que nos devuelva a los tiempos de la Play 1 o la N64.

    Sólo los amantes de esta clase de títulos sabrán sacarle el partido a Ginger, ya que el resto no se vera atraído por la propuesta y lo repetitivo que puede volverse harán que quiten el disco de juego mucho antes de lo esperado, amén de que por desgracia no llega a la altura de los clásicos en los que se inspira.

    *Nota: Si arreglan el frame-rate en futuros parches, añadidle un puntito mas a la calificación final.
