    The Giana Sisters are back with an Directowl's Cut of their Twisted Dreams adventure. The game is good for more than 20 hours of entertainment. The game plays fluidly and the worlds are original, but there are some small flaws. Still, the game rocks.

    It may be a bit challenging for some, but it's fair if you're willing to invest some effort, resulting in a surprisingly strong platforming experience.

    Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams surprised me. It’s a mechanically sound platformer that, considering the origins of the franchise, has managed to differentiate itself in a pretty big way. Simply put Giana Sisters now feels like one of the most unique platformers on the market.

    This is a merge of the previous two recent Giana Sisters titles - Twisted Dreams, and Rise of the Owlverlord. It has all the smoothThis is a merge of the previous two recent Giana Sisters titles - Twisted Dreams, and Rise of the Owlverlord. It has all the smooth platformer goodness of its parents, plus a lot of usability upgrades to make for a more comfortable play experience. I particularly liked that they now have all the worlds broken out and separated, so even if you get stuck on one level, you can skip over and try another world elsewhere. This game really harkens back to good parts of the old Sonic titles, but is full of modern polish and quality. Give it a run.… Full Review »

    Combined with the boss levels now having their own levels (YES!), makes this really worth it.
    Only "bad" thing is that the game is really hard, but that's nothing a bit of skill and patience won't fix. If you really get stuck you can always skip on to the next world.    … Full Review »

It can be a little frustrating at times the fact that you need to play the whole level and pick all the gems all over again instead of only the ones that you missed on the previous try. The gameplay is solid and it's definitely a fun and addictive game and I would highly recommend it to anyone that enjoys this genre and isn't afraid of a little challenge.… Full Review »
