    one of the most underrated games of the last generation.

    pros: amazing, fluid, addictive, fun gameplay. perfecting runs and seeing yourself improve and utilising your memory and mastery of the controls is beautiful. there is fustration, like dark souls, but this is what makes it rewarding to progress/succeed. secondly, the music is awesome, one of the best futuristic soundtracks    one of the most underrated games of the last generation.

    what could have been improved: the story is told through audio, while progressing through levels. the story is not memorable or well told, but i guess it did the job to add in some context to what you are doing. secondly, the ability to change costumes and/or view the swords would have been nice.

    Negative: no major negative comments

    overall: 76/100, a very good game, despite not having a huge budget. also correct pricing. With a better told story and more variety in enemies and less issues with controls, it wouldve been in the 80s.    … Expand

    It was a great concept but it’s too difficult to be fun. If you like doing the same thing 30+ times then this is the game for you If there was an option to change difficulty then it could be good but unfortunately there isn’t

    Meh... good, but playing this after running around with a katana in Cyberpunk 2077 and playing the wall running modes in Black Ops 3 just makes this feel really similar. This IS a trial and error game so don't expect any hand holding, or originality because the aspects of the game have been done before.

    The game is the perfect combination of Mirror's Edge, Dishonored and Hotline Miami. I am pretty sure it has been inspired by all of them.
    The combat system, the encounters, the boss fights are all top notch.
    The game runs flowlessly with no crashes. However it's a bit harsh with the hardware, so I guess you can try the PS5 versions. I strongly recommend adding it to your collection. I    The game is the perfect combination of Mirror's Edge, Dishonored and Hotline Miami. I am pretty sure it has been inspired by all of them.

    Overall a great game but stupidly difficult ending made me feel very frustrated and almost quit the game before finishing it.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Ghostrunner tem tudo o que um game de ação deve ter, e também tem tudo que os melhores games do gênero Cyberpunk deve ter. Muita ação, velocidade, exigindo uma boa técnica do jogador.

    O game tem ótimos gráficos, com ambientes urbanos e industriais bem detalhados e cheios de possibilidades. Com um orçamento de game indie, os desenvolvedores conseguiram fazer um bom trabalho nos consoles da geração passada.

    O game tem uma jogabilidade rápida e cheia de recursos. Confesso que a sensação de que o game foi desenvolvido para PC atrapalha um pouco. Os controle, por serem Cheios de recursos acabam por atrapalhar no começo, mas nada que você não vai se adaptar.

    Vale ressaltar que Ghostrunner é um game difícil, e pode acabar espantando os jogadores mais casuais. O game sequer lhe da a possibilidade de escolher uma dificuldade mais moderada, portanto se você é um jogador casual, pode se decepcionar.

    Em contra partida os desenvolvedores foram gênerosos, e o game tem um check point perto do outro. Entretanto, você vai morrer muito entre eles, mas não se apavore, faz parte da curva de aprendizado do game, depois de algumas horas você vai conseguir se sair melhor.

    Resumindo, Ghostrunner é um game muito divertido, principalmente se você gosta de um jogo com ação frenética. Alindo isso a uma boa dificuldade, ao transpor qualquer nível, o sentimento de satisfação vem de imediato.

    Um conselho que dou é não desistir do jogo, por mais que pareça frustrante, com o passar dos níveis você vai se surpreender.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Great soundtrack. Gameplay was really fun although I used a back paddle for the slide. The powers either than mind control are too similar though and I never ended up using that one. Would have been annoying without it even if it isn't used too much. Platforming/parkour was satisfying as well. I died a ton but I got through it in the end. Only a handful of parts that overstayed their welcome. Some of the puzzles were included in that. A little buggy as well but not too bad. I thought the plot was fine, voice acting was decent with the exception of the final boss fight. Her voice sounded good over the speaker but crapped out weirdly in the final boss. The final boss was a bad fight as well and the narrative finale was a little unsatisfying as well.… Expand

    Terrible port. Obviously designed for keyboard and mouse, having to use a controller renders it effectively unplayable. Deleted after an hour, waste of money.

    I've had my eye on this game since it was first announced, based on some comparisons that people had made with Mirror's Edge (which is one of my all time favourite games). I bought it a few weeks ago and have recently completed it.

    I found it REALLY enjoyable. It's tough at times, and you'll die hundreds of times on your journey, but that makes it all-the-more satisfying when you complete a hard section. I feel like the difficulty is a good balance overall. It progresses well through the game, such that the early levels will seem fairly easy on a second playthrough as you've mastered the mechanics. Nothing ever feels completely infuriating and there are regular checkpoints through the levels which means you never need to backtrack once you've completed something. There's also a "hardcore more" for a second playthrough which I've not braved just yet, but plan on doing soon.

    The platforming mechanics are excellent - a great mix between jumping, wallruns, grapples, ziplines, and the "dash" mean you can gain great momentum wherever you are. Most of the combat relies much more on outmaneuvering your opponents than traditional combat mechanics. They have perfect aim and will kill you instantly if you stay still - so keep on moving, avoid their bullets and get close to kill them. Way more fun than just shooting enemies from across the room.

    You also have some special abilities, which are slowly introduced through the gameplay, which can get you out of tough situations. Although it is possible to complete without using them (and feels more "pure" to do so), they add a new dimension which can be fun. There are also various modifications that you can make to your character and abilities to enhance things like the dash and special abilities.

    My biggest annoyance was that you can't save mid-level. This can make it pretty hard to just pick up for a quick game - it always needs to be more of a commitment as some levels took me around an hour to complete (although a good number of them are only around 15 minutes - but you never know what to expect when starting a level so you've got to be ready to commit for a longer term). Not easy when you've got a busy life! Not sure why the developers decided to go with this but I really wish they would remove it so you can just pick the game up from the most recent checkpoint.

    I've seen a lot of people saying this doesn't play very well on PS4 which seems to have really dragged the average rating down. Not sure if that has been patched now? I've been playing on PS5 (with the backwards compatibility version) and it plays perfectly. Absolutely no issues at all.

    A stunning and challenging game with gorgeous graphics, thrilling white knuckle combat and exhilarating parkour platforming that should be experienced by all.

    Хардкорный слешер дающий состояние потока - к частым смертям поначалу быстро привыкаешь, подчиняешся ритму игры и забываешь обо всем - все твое внимание в игре.

    This game is incredibly frustrating. It's not "hardcore," it's unfair. It's like every enemy in this game has perfect aim all the time? I got to the 4th level and died 278 times and deleted the game without completing it. Waste of money.

    Активируешь энерговолну из меча, враги перед тобой помечаются прицелом, стреляешь – и промахиваешься. По тем, кто уже был подсвечен как цель – промахиваешься

    Вместо тонкого контроля над движением персонажа – невыносимейший пздц. Этот киберублюдок ни единого действия не может сделать спокойно. Бьёшь мечом, просто стоя на месте – он подпрыгивает. Кидаешь сюрикен – подпрыгивает и кидается вперёд (в пропасть). Отбиваешь пулю – подпрыгивает, даже если летит по воздуху, а также полностью теряет инерцию и падает. Задеваешь ударом щит – отскакивает на 15 метров вверх или вбок. Улетание в яму из-за полученной хер пойми из-за чего инерции – одно из ваших основных занятий в этой игре

    Вместо использования спецприёмов по кулдауну – копи энергию, убивая врагов. Так что вместо использования по ситуации, тактически, в кайф – ты вынужден постоянно их беречь, т.к. а вдруг дальше оно пригодится больше, чем вот этого одинокого врага я щас по приколу размажу? Причём, энергия сохраняется при перезагрузке! То есть можно одного и того же врага убивать и загружаться, пока не накопишь – ну и в чём смысл этого ограничения?
    И мало того, энергия ОБЩАЯ для всех спецприёмов. Сдал один – остальные недоступны

    Вместо прокачки с подстраиванием перков под свой игровой стиль – ты вынужден трахаться с каким-то идиотским тетрисом. Зачем он тут? Он означает, что некоторые способности просто несовместимы друг с другом – т.к. форма нужных деталек такова, что все их на поле запихнуть физически невозможно. Почему просто не сделать слоты и разный вес у перков? Как в Hollow Knight. Но нет

    Почему часть этих перков не привязать к снаряжению? Пусть заныканых мечей в игре будет 5 штук – но один повысит скорость энерговолны, другой площадь поражения разрубающего рывка etc. Но нет, мечей тут пара десятков, и это тупо косметика. То есть мусор

    Ровно одну вещь игра делает нормально – это возможность менять перки в любую секунду. Я даже удивлён. Как это не стали требовать найти терминал для этого.

    И наконец – игра регулярно вылетает. После того, как она вылетела ЧЕТЫРЕ РАЗА ПОДРЯД в одной и той же комнате – я просто вышел и снёс её нахер.

    Не покупайте. Очень хорошая была идея, но увы, реализация – невыносимое говно. А жаль.    … Expand

    The game is pretty good for what it tries to do: a first-person platformer. However it is in essence an one-trick pony so it is extremely subjective if you're gonna like it. It immediately throws you into its simple action which will be obviously loved by many but for the rest of us the game can feel like an unnecessary chore.

    Great game with nice visuals and gameplay, music is great and matches the actions you take and surroundings giving you a nice overall experience, it is hard so beware, you will get frustrated easily but it's worth it

    Unfortunately I've pre-ordered this peace of junk and can't go further then the level with floor fans. It's been more then a month since release, c'mon! Developers just don't give a f*?
    Maybe they've fixed graphics for PS? Nope I'm running it on PS5 now and still i can see fan's that don't work in potato mode. What an outstanding support!

    If you liked Dishonored or Mirror's Edge, this is the perfect game for you. Fast paced gameplay, insane graphics and a great story combine together to create one of the best cyberpunk games out there. While it has a steep learning curve, if you don't bother dying over and over and over to improve your skill then you are good to go.

It would be nice if you could customize the control scheme but no, you cant instead they just give you a few variations of controls to pick from. Every time you restart the game you will have to reselect your controller scheme otherwise it will combine your current scheme with the default one resulting in buttons having two functions that randomly interchange. Like if I start the game up dash will be both R1 and L1 yet jump is still set to L1...so dumb.
    Also diagonal movement is dead. You have to move like its a dead off the most part. You cant dash diagonal either. For some reason switching from going straight to diagonal causes moments that feel like your getting stuck on the ground. Also if you run over debris like bottles etc you can get stuck on the environment which is basically an instant death. For a game of this difficulty precise controls are a must and this feels amateur. I also hate the abilitys that slow down time etc...I refused to use them throughout my play though. A game is not difficult if I can slow down time and dodge incoming bullets mid air...instead I just challenged myself and beat the game without using these handicap features...Base running speed is painfully slow too, you will end up learning how to boost slide jump as otherwise it can be painful to get around. The rail in the game really suck too, half the time it doesn't register that you are jumping on one and you fall your death. Theres some light puzzle elements in the game when you go into the digital worlds, but all of these suck lol. Still using dash slide makes the game much faster and enjoyable.     high-quality game with an awesome soundtrack. great graphics, mechanics and narrative. cant wait for a sequel! people complaining about one-hit kills are negative **** who cant appreciate a good game. **** off Fortnite nerds. 10/10

    Very demanding with nice story and good gameplay. If you like team ninja games, like nioh, dark soul series, sekiro etc, you will enjoy also that one :-)

    Throwing away the fact that the game crashes quite a bit for me, this game is great. Its high difficulty and Mirror’s Edge like parkour makes this one of my favorite games this year. The story itself is pretty predictable but that’s the only complain I have. The gameplay loop keeps you on your toes as they add new enemies every few levels and you’ll need to learn how they work on your own.Throwing away the fact that the game crashes quite a bit for me, this game is great. Its high difficulty and Mirror’s Edge like parkour makes this one of my favorite games this year. The story itself is pretty predictable but that’s the only complain I have. The gameplay loop keeps you on your toes as they add new enemies every few levels and you’ll need to learn how they work on your own. It’s soundtrack is great for keeping the mood, the pacing is always fast, the one shot kill/death mechanic makes for satisfying plays and strategic gameplay. I definitely recommend this game.… Expand

    Now that's out of the way the main issues with this game on PS4 Pro is the extremely lazy port even after the recent patch the outputs the game to 4K the game has horrendous screen tearing even on the opening CGI and there is ZERO Anti Aliasing making the filled with jaggies and    Let me quickly say my praises for this game the gameplay is amazing controls fantastically on PS4 Pro.

    Now that's out of the way the main issues with this game on PS4 Pro is the extremely lazy port even after the recent patch the outputs the game to 4K the game has horrendous screen tearing even on the opening CGI and there is ZERO Anti Aliasing making the filled with jaggies and scratch's that are straight up offensive to the eyes. What's worse is that thanks to the 4K patch the game actually runs slower than the release day version and there is no option to switch back to 1080p to return to 60fps.

    I would LOVE to give this game a higher score because the gameplay is rock solid but man the technical issues are so outrageously bad it's amazing the version of the game was okayed haven't seen a port this bad since Arkham Knight on PC.    … Expand

    While the difficulty level is fairly high, this is the smoothest cyperpunk style game i've played in awhile. Getting used to the speed is the biggest learning curve, and the lack of HP, but it's STUPID FUN to blast through.

    Ghostrunner is a game of exciting highs and extremely low lows. When its controls click, it offers a thrilling parkour platforming experience. But these moments aren’t worth contending with its frustrating combat and aggravating bugs. If you’re an enthusiast for first-person platformers and can overlook a glaring lack of polish, Ghostrunner may have some limited value. For all else, there are other genre titles more deserving of your time.

    It will take quick decision making, precision platforming, and skill to beat Ghostrunner. Whilst many of its environments are dull in imagery, they are an important component as to why it plays so well. Its lacklustre story does not take away from the addictive, thrilling gameplay that will keep you coming back. Ghostrunner is an exhilarating, challenging, adrenaline pumping platformer that succeeds in making you feel like a cyborg ninja.
