    Ghost of a Tale
    7 hours of idk what to do
    Ghost of a Tale is a good game, but it definitely isn’t for everybody.. And im one of those people… It wont hold your hand, you wont know where to go to get what you need off of much more than remembering seeing something somewhere. that being said, I can appreciate the good that is here!     Ghost of a Tale is a good game, but it definitely isn’t for everybody..

    that being said, I can appreciate the good that is here!
    You play as a mouse in a world full of rats, you escape a jail cell and youre in search of your wife…
    This is a bit of a horror stealth game, you sneak, distract, steal, run and hide, trying to not gain attention, but I found this to be pretty impossible for the most part… this definitely isn’t a game for those that are impatient or easily annoyed as ghost of a tale will annoy you…
    At first Ghost of a Tale seemed like something I could get into, search all the rooms you can, go forward, gtting keys and clothing items to increase your stats, find all of its secrets, but the moment it opens up into a souls like world with everything inter connecting is wher Ghost of a Tale started to lose me..
    At that is a very personally me, as I find Ghost of a Tale to be a good stealth game, if you have the patience, this game is a beautiful stealth hidden gem.. the mechanics are great, the gameplay is tense… you can venture down different paths to unlock abilities to put guards to sleep, complete quests and steal coins to unlock helpful items such as maps.. though really, this game feels like a maze.. pun intended.. a map rarely helps, its still really confusing getting around in this game even after you’ve been through it.. I still found myself unsure which corner to turn to get ot a spot I know ive been to.. to add to the frustration, much like a hitman game you have to save a lot when you make progress, it isn’t as simple as unlocking a path or gaining an important key or item for the game to save, the game will only save after dialog, or you can manually save while your hiding after you’ve been detected and lose line of sight.. and back to the diaglog, none of its voice acted, and with such a colorful cast of characters, I feel like this would’ve been a nice touch to add to the overall polish feel of a ghost of a tale…
    Ghost of a Tale is a good stealth game.
    But again, it may be a game that frustrates you more than intrigues..
    And if you are one of those players who get intrigued, youll be rewarded with how well this game comes together,

    I'm not really a stealthy player but had to give credit to the developer as it's a nice looking game with an enjoyable premise.

    I don't get why this game has been so over rated. Graphics are quite old fashioned (it looks like a ps3 game). Enemy AI is non existing. Good point is the level design and environment which has been done with care. I won't speak of the lore since I've only played for a couple of hours but so far it's not very compelling.

    I honestly played this game for half an hour I soon realised that this is not my kind of game. I don't know if I could have changed the difficulty but if I don't like a game from the begining and especially because I found it repetitive, well sorry, I have more interesting games to play.

    The game to its credit is a nice game if you like finding objects for puzzles. There a few flaws mainly with the arsonist trophy however the developers do take time to talk to people on social media.

    I have played through 3 times once on 1.03 and twice on 1.02. -I could list the flaws but its mostly a smaller studio. The arsonist trophy is not glitched at all just an irritation as i missed the Kitchen flag 3x its in a locked room need the kitchen key for trophy , the other ones people struggle with (2 in sewer, 1 in catacombs upper level, 2 harbor), 1 armory , 1 in jail above fire use stool or pinecone , and 1 in courtyard high up). Every static purple flag must be burned for trophy nothing else is needed.

    I have spoiled some flag locations purely cause of the problems i had getting 100% trophy and lack of information on it. If your trophy no pop check the kitchen behind the locked door).

    Game is great and hopefully a sequel will give our mouse friend the ending desired.    … Expand

    A fun stealth game with a lot of character stealth game , I ended up playing this game was 8 hours straight and I enjoyed it you enjoyed stealth adventure games then I would recommend it , This game has some glitches but you can always find a way to make them work

    Great indie game crafted with love. Clever level design, charming characters, wonderful visiual. But don´t be confused fairy tale looks, because its almost like old Resident Evil games, in first hours. ( Probably reason why some casuals/kids gamers don´t like it)
    I like see sequel in future. :-)

    This game is a masterpiece, great graphics, beautiful music and atmoshere, good gameplay, and Tilos is so cute. One of my favourite PS4 game.

Triple-A game developers, with too much money and too much time on their hands aren't able to make a game with half the atmospheric depth, half the world-building, half the genuine love and affection that goes into Ghost of a Tale.     Very nice and cute game, strong 9, Music, plot, lore, mices, rats, everything is wonderful. If there weren’t plenty of bugs at playstation, it will be 10/10.

    It’s far from perfect, and its flaws are reading apparent, but if you come away from this game feeling truly dissatisfied instead of deeply impressed by the work of SeithCG and eager to see what he does next, you’re kind of missing its point.

    Ghost of a Tale has not managed to completely immerse us in its interesting adventure, the fault to a lack of visibility mainly. We still want to accompany Tilo, but some passages are painstaking by having to hide to escape the danger. Yet here too lies its strength, its infiltration side mixed with RPG and exploration, colorful characters and a sweet sense of humour. The universe is attractive and the animations are excellent, but the enemies are as dumb as a washing machine and the textual dialogues do not help. This is not a bad game, far from it, but it did not meet all the hopes that we had put in it.

    Ghost of a Tale is one of the most unique action role-playing games released in recent times. Its highlights are the charming story and characters as well as the stealth-focused gameplay. Sadly, some technical issues do get in the way on PlayStation 4, preventing the game from reaching its full potential. However, if you're looking for a game that can make you think, look no further, as Ghost of a Tale tackles a handful of very important issues in a mature and very thoughtful way.
