    I wish I read the reviews from users first. This is my first review on here, and I'll say this game was so bad that it is the sole purpose I signed up to leave a review and warn people. Yes, it has a good story(so do movies..and I bought a game,or so I thought). The developers try to sell this as a shooter/survival horror game, it is a walking simulator. Period. You're so heavilyI wish I read the reviews from users first. Yes, it has a good story(so do movies..and I bought a game,or so I thought). The developers try to sell this as a shooter/survival horror game, it is a walking simulator. Period. You're so heavily discouraged from using any weapons or really doing anything except for walking from place to place to see a cutscene. Also, random note. Not ONE characters lips move for any talking parts (of which there are a ton) just looks and feels cheap. I paid 40cdn for this and I regret it so much. If you want a GAME, don't get this. I have yet to see a reviewer say "they pushed this game as a survival horror shooter, and it's a lie. You walk maybe do some puzzles, shoot nobody and walk some more." Seems to me a certain developer might be flooding the reviews with positive ones, just to make their money back on this ....playable movie? Rant over. Save your money!… Expand

    Interesting game. I felt the story was pretty good. Even though it had the somewhat usual story tropes through flashbacks/memories I felt like it was handled good. The concept for the game is extremely original and it is really cool. The combat on the other hand has some cool things they do with the guns and morphing abilities, but feels like an average FPS during it. The game reallyInteresting game. This is psychological thriller at its finest. The game has some slight horror themes and creepy atmosphere but it is not a horror game. It actually is a multitude of genres. Part adventure, puzzle solving, fps it does all these very well and tells an amazing story as well. In fact this game is heavily focused on story that some of the gameplay seems like an afterthought but that doesnt mean it isn't fun to play. The shooting mechanics are nothing new or exciting but some of the weapons like the corner gun are fun if a tad bit difficult to use at times. The graphics while not the best still look pretty good. It isn't a triple AAA game by any means but it looks decent and has some cool particle effects and visual effects at time. The sound design however is a huge plus. The sounds from footsteps to the sound of guns are all great and sound heavy. The music is also one of the best things about the game. It's a great soundtrack and just fit so well with the game. There is even a track that follows the characters loud breathing and one that follows wit a ticking clock. It's just so unique and sounds wonderful. The length of the game is good as well. It took me around 9 hours or so to reach the credits but I still don't know the full story as there is a ton of documents and items to find to fill in the blanks. A little plus I liked is once you find all the clues in a memory, you unlock a code which you can then enter the same memory and find an optional door that unlocks more back story and even new guns for your "mind palace" the mind palace is alittlw hub of information on the memories you've been to and your gun locker. It's a neat little place an reminds me of Sherlock. The best thing in this game though, aside from the Excellent soundtrack (seriously it's that good!) Is the story. It has so many moments where youll be confused, sad, angry and just what the hell is going on. O don't want to say to much about it because this game is super easy to spoil. Just know that it's worth experiencing. There are a few issues like dumb ai and muddy textures bit overall no real complaints Im so glad this game was worth the wait and you can see how much detail and complexity the story offers. It's a great little game and again it's not a AAA title. It's actually half the price of a full game at $29.99. it's well worth the money and time just to experience something different and unique. I highly recommend this one as it offers one of if not the best story in an fps, an amazing soundtrack and lengthy experience.

    It's true, "never judge a book from its cover'. I doubted the game if it would be good, but after I have tried it, oh god, I liked everything in it despite the technical bugs it has in the gameplay. Less deciding and jump in it straight away, you won't regret it.

    W Get Even wystarczyło mi zaledwie kilka minut, by zanurzyć się w opowieść. . Klimat gry jest po prostu świetny, podkreślany przez genialną oprawę audio. Początkowo niełatwo mi było przyzwyczaić się do nagłych przeskoków do różnych wspomnień i lokacji, ale pod koniec, gdy wszystkie wątki zostały ze sobą połączone, a wiele wydarzeń pokazano w zupełnie innym świetle, przez długi czasW Get Even wystarczyło mi zaledwie kilka minut, by zanurzyć się w opowieść. .     Klimat, klimat i jeszcze raz klimat. !!! Gra robi ogramne wrażenie emocjonalne. Mim. o że graika nie jest ja w grach AAA ale dzięki TEJ opowieści i TEMU klimatowi chcę się jej więcej . Leci 10 Z POLSKI.

    If you love good psychedelic thrillers told in a good narrative then this is for you. Although a twisted story that you have to follow its events step by step to capture the overall events but the revenge part is apparent when you make it towards the end. Was a bit surprised this was called a shooter.

    A typical case from Well-intentioned, however, Badly made.
    The graphics are not a quality PS4 and the only one what is frightened is here the music as well as the bad conversion. In the trailers it looks good, however cannot be deceived.

    O jogo consegue realmente lhe deixar intrigado no começo, sentir a tensão de suas escolhas.
    Mas a história é o ponto mais importante do jogo, e é contata por vários e vários arquivos de texto e de áudio nada objetivos. São muitos arquivos de texto enormes para encontrar uma linha de palavras realmente importantes, outros não há nada de importante, mas como deve dar para imaginar pelo    O jogo consegue realmente lhe deixar intrigado no começo, sentir a tensão de suas escolhas.
    Mas a história é o ponto mais importante do jogo, e é contata por vários e vários arquivos de texto e de áudio nada objetivos. São muitos arquivos de texto enormes para encontrar uma linha de palavras realmente importantes, outros não há nada de importante, mas como deve dar para imaginar pelo primeiro exemplo que mencionado, o jogador se vê obrigado a ler eles. Logo o jogo se torna enfadonho com muitas cenas apenas ouvindo arquivos de áudio e andando.

I have not managed to enjoy it, though; maybe it is just too complex to understand it in a single playthrough, as it usually happens with this kind of plots.     im half-way there and was curious what others think, as i was mesmerised by this not-well-known game.
    im quite shocked that people call this graphics bad, it has a filter on it and textures arent in very high resolution (especially annoying on the phone), but its far from '2008 ps3 game'

    the game feels something in between 'vanishing of ethan carter' and 'call of ctulhu dark corners of the earth' with more of the first one.

    if you enjoyed any of above - go for get even, especially that it costs like 20$ now    … Expand

    Very good story almost feels like you are playing a movie. The gameplay is kind of the weak point although there is some cool mechanics and features to it like the corner gun and exploration for evidence.

    Dozen or so hours in, I was slogging just to finish one of the least inspired games in memory, only to get stuck in environments 3 consecutive times. This necessitated rebooting the game, only to re-engage a completely frustrating , meandering segment. Finally, it became apparent Get Even isnt worth the time or labor to finish. Save your money and patience for a more rewarding experience.

    Sinceramente es un juego notable, mantiene la intriga hasta el final y te hacer estar confuso a veces, logra el objetivo que quiere hacer al jugador sin duda, aunque probablemente haya cosas que pulir para llegar a ser un juego sobresaliente.

Shooting mechanics are bad but without it the game is a boring walking simulator, which comes in direct conflict with how the game is trying to make you avoid the combat.     What a wasted opportunity. So much potential spilled. Exciting story, but quickly gets so convoluted that you stop caring. The last third of the game I was so bored and confused I was struggling to get to the end. I'm curious about the studios next game, so much good work gets swallowed up by poor storytelling.

    Interesting game but the sound effects are crap. It is one of those where the f**k go kind of games.Half the time I'm lost and wandering around.The phone in the game is a joke.You get no hud or any help.You're just as confused as your character is. Two thumbs down

    Es un juego con una interfaz de FPS. Pero el juego te sugiere que no mates a ningún enemigo, y utilices el sigilo en su lugar. Del problema es que no hay mecánicas que favorezcan el sigilo.     Otros juegos también premian al jugador por no usar la violencia, pero normalmente proporcionan mecánicas para usar el sigilo.

    Además de las armas, dispones de un móvil que sirve para investigar pistas, ver el mapa, mensajes, etc... En mi opinión es bastante engorroso de manejar. El mapa cuenta con puntos que son los enemigos y conos que representan su campo de visión. Un clásico... El problema es que el campo de visión de los enemigos es bastante más amplio qué el del cono. Te puedes adaptar, pero por qué hacerlo así?

    Los gráficos están bastante poco inspirados.

    Get Even has a lot of ambition, but never quite realises it. While there are lots of individual beats to like – most notably the exceptional music and sound design - its multiple influences never quite congeal into anything solid.

    Like most movies of the thriller genre when you go and replay the game you will likely find things you missed and understand things a lot more but even if you play it only once it does a good job of explaining everything and has a very satisfying ending (regardless of which one you end up getting).

    It's a bit simple on the gameplay side of things, but Get Even still delivers an engaging story in an expert way, with often brilliant voice-acting and beautiful graphics. Don't let this one fly under your radar!
