    I don't expect much from the studio that keeps stealing game design idea but I still disappointed anyway. If this is a complete copy of Zelda: botw then it probably can get a 6/10 but sadly they put tons of typical Chinese game design choices such as the gacha system which you can buy pretty underage anime girl to your party, I guess to attract degenerated to their games? and from theI don't expect much from the studio that keeps stealing game design idea but I still disappointed anyway.     How is a game like this allowed to exist? Everyone was **** over Battlefront 2 after it's initial release (and for a good reason) but this game gets a pass, why? It's literally gambling but thanks to some kind of loophole they can also target children now (game has a +12 rating in my country). On youtube there are tons of videos with titles such as "omg I spent 50000$ on Genshin ImpactHow is a game like this allowed to exist?     they only want your money but they didn't care less about your opinion & critic even though it can give good benefit for the game & make the player happy. DO NOT PLAY THIS GAME!!

    Bad resin system, predatory gacha rates and super bad optimisation for ps4 with 1 min loading times and framerate drops to 10 fps.

    It's completely dissapointing game as it did resemble much like legend of Zelda breath of the wild but it only looks the part doesn't do anything it doesn't have horses ,bear , dear to ride , it doesn't have any weapon customization, no magnetic device , or any natural open world elements

    Stupid kryptonite games, copying nintendo, capcom, putting mobile game routines on consoles and PCS, junk pictures, empty worlds, very little to explore, rewards for exploration are nothing compared to top-up, illegal program implantation, **** like games.

    In order to play the game I taught myself Chinese, download the advance version on September 15, now my adventure level is 40, play time more than five hours a day. It was a very, very bad experience after the high level game. I had a great time in the first 20 hours. I charged $300, but after that there was nothing new to play.     If you play the game for the story and the exploration, then let it be known, this is a magical game. However, if you started playing like me when the game released, and you accompanied all the bad practices, delays, long patch waiting times, and flat out bad events that we had to endure between each new region and story quest, you'd understand why it deserves a 0. That coupled with their shady and bad gambling practices while also admiting their disregard for the community just makes this game feel like a big cashgrab with no passions unlike other Gachas like Destiny Child and Honkai.

    Just so you understand, for original players, we had two regins to explore, and we had to wait for almost A YEAR to get a new main region, which was delivered in small chunks at a time because they have to milk it one by one. So what were we left with? A tiny region called Dragonspine that was explored in one day, and then countless mindless events of food delivery and item gathering events that would make you even MORE bored than if you were just waiting around.

    There's no content. The only good content they've released in the past 6 months besides Inazuma was a dungeon crawling sort of event, that was removed after two weeks even though everyone wanted it to be a permanent feature.

    If you don't care for any of that and just want a game that blows Breath of the Wild out of the water for its first 50 hours, then play this game and stop there. The more you get into it the more you hate it.    … Expand

    Would be a good game, but the problems all start at AR 30-35 where the game becomes a chore and you have to wait for resin which is the stamina system that cripples the game.

    Sinceramente me parece un juego bastante amplio y de aspecto bonito pero hay algo que hay que recalcar y es la copia descarada de las mecánicas de este juego con respecta a Zelda Botw, como por ejemplo el aspecto artístico es casi idéntico solo con colores mas vivos y saturados no es el hecho que este desarrollado a base de Cel Shading literalmente copia y pega la vegetación de Botw enSinceramente me parece un juego bastante amplio y de aspecto bonito pero hay algo que hay que recalcar y es la copia descarada de las mecánicas de este juego con respecta a Zelda Botw, como por ejemplo el aspecto artístico es casi idéntico solo con colores mas vivos y saturados no es el hecho que este desarrollado a base de Cel Shading literalmente copia y pega la vegetación de Botw en ese genshin ¡Hay Zonas casi idénticas!!! en su mapa que porciento también al de Botw copiando es sistema de puntos en el mapa Etc, La Interacción con el ambiente es idéntico, como podemos apreciar cada juego tiene distintas formas de interactuar con el ambiente pero este es demasido similar si la comparamos entre las dos, la manera de cocinar no digamos que es copia es una gran inspiración por lo cual hay no me quejo si tiene un sistema un poco distinto de Botw, Lo peor es que hay enemigos como los Guardianes que directamente lo aparecen en el juego de forma muy alterada al igual que algunos enemigos en el mapa y sus refugios parecidos al de Botw. Se que diran que es una critica sin sentido una cosa es copia y otra inspiración pero si analizan Botw tras jugarlo y despues tocas este juego es que todo lo que te digo romo fuerza, MiHoyo pudo haberse inspirado en sus mecánicas de Botw mejorandolas cambiando un poco su funcion para que no sea tan identico y hacerla propia de su juego pero es que es increible el nivel de copia en su mundo. Cuidado no hablo de todo los pueblos tienen un sistema distinto y los pesonajes he historia me quejo de Su similitud tan brutal En mecánicas, artística, físicas y jugabilidad de este… Expand

    If you don't spend money you will get disapointed.

    They still haven't fixed Monas C1 after 2 years. The devs don't care about bugs unless they reduce their profit. Just shows how much the devs don't care about the game or the community.

    What a terrible optimization this game is. Now it's 2020 and the texture is so rough. Character modeling and terrain modeling are very inconsistent.

    4.Players who played for an enough long period will be very attached to the game as they've spend so many time keeping log into the game to finish those repetitive activities as a part-time job. They now are the Gacha slaves who will defend the game no matter what because they just do not want to admit the characters they rolled and the resources they spent actually does not worth too much.

    This is typical Chinese mobile/web game routine. Chinese players notice this pattern since Genshin's 1st day of launching as they are already very familiar with this. That's why its scored so low in Chinese gaming communities. I worked in Chinese mobile game industry before and what I can tell you is they do not value fun gameplay so much, they always treat that as a hook to innocent players. Instead they believe the business model and monetization is the only valueable thing in game industry. A famous quotation in the industry ,given by Shi Yuzhu who made a top grossing mmorpg about 10 years ago says "Put 95% of your good art resource in to the first 5% of the game". For the past 15 years, this twisted value in game industry almost killed Chinese console/PC game industry,especially blocking the single player game studio from having any resource. This is why Black Myth: Wukong is given so much credit as it is really a brave act to even try to make a good single-player game that focus on gameplay in China.

    I admit Genshin has a much longer single-player RPG gameplay period than those typical P2W or Gacha mobile games. However as I suspect the game is still applying this terrible routine and as long as their management team still believes in the value of business model and monetization instead of gameplay, there's absolutely no reason the resin system will be reworked. They will probably feed you more resin when you get raged with activities until less people talks about it.

    Well I'm not a Mihoyo employee so you might consider all this just my personal guess. Actually if Mihoyo decide to change Genshin into something more like a single-player RPG or an MMORPG I would be happy as well. But again, taking consideration from what this company has done in the past, for Genshin CBT and other games, that chance is too low.    … Expand

    Many Chinese players don't like this game, it is their reason: MHY's games' feature: Great Graphic, it asks you to spend a lot of time on farming this game every day（especially you have played above 20 hours) & copy other game's features, especially characters & action

    Genshin Impact is a well above average RPG to which we will dedicate many hours, but that gets lost in a monetization system typical of the gacha genre that sometimes demands too much from us. However, the free to play experience is wonderful offering us a beautiful and colorful world that can boast an absurdly good character design and a story capable of keeping us hooked.

    Genshin Impact is part of a wave of titles from China that is slowly eroding the bad stereotype that Chinese devs are devoid of creativity and skill. While the initial comparisons are there, Genshin Impact does go beyond to distinguish itself…now if only the gacha rates and the free primogem are better I would have no hesitation recommending the title.

    Genshin Impact might not be the most original game in a lot of respects, but it certainly has a wealth of things to offer players should they still be willing to give it a chance. Overall, I greatly enjoyed my time with it, and I plan to continue playing once future updates are implemented. The fact that it can be played for free is also quite impressive given just how much time you can invest in the game, especially with people perhaps staying at home more and being on a budget. All in all, Genshin Impact is a surprisingly solid action RPG adventure!
