    Best music, best gameplay, best story, best graphics. Needs fps upgrades and all good. Highly recommend.

    This is the best free to play game on PS4 ever!
    It's not a BOTW clone. The environment , characters, musics, animation etc. are all outstanding! It's hard to believe it's a free to play game. Yes this game has gamblings and microtransactions, but you have to remember that paid games nowadays, also contain microtransaction. So having microtransaction on a free to play game doesn't really    This is the best free to play game on PS4 ever!

    I've played genshin impact on all platforms which includes pc, ps4 and a high end android mobile device. From what I've gathered is that the ps4 version does tend to have a few performance and control issues which hopefully can be fixed in the future. Whereas pc runs the best (no surprises there) I think its best if you hook a controller up to your pc as well for the smoothest experience.I've played genshin impact on all platforms which includes pc, ps4 and a high end android mobile device.     This is Zach Aguilar's second developed game, after his experiment on the ever-so-satanic Fire Emblem: Three Houses. With the cute art style and characters, Genshin is targeted at young children. This game looks very adorable and fun to play with your kids on the surface, but DON'T TRUST IT. Aguilar, as you can see from Three Houses and Demon    Do not get or support Genshin Impact.

The game begins with two twins fighting a "unknown god" who kidnaps one of them, and the one you play as needs to find them. Now, how do they not know who the "unknown god" is? And then a few years after, the focused-on twin fishes.... a small human girl. Imagine fishing a human girl. The girl becomes the twin's slave who is forced to help them on their journey. And they call her names such as "breakfast food". Yes, the main character of the game is a cannibal. On their journey, the twin takes many people as slaves by summoning them, including the whole government of a kingdom and even some gods. Yes, the main character is that powerful and unstoppable. One of the gods is alcoholic and he heavily promotes drinking to children. Part of the government of that kingdom is a librarian who, if you put the language to Japanese, has a very sexual voice, and her grunts come straight out of a dirty movie. What a terrible hidden message. Oh, and did I mention that you have to pay real money for in-game currency, which you use to summon your slaves? Which means that you are paying REAL MONEY to buy VIRTUAL SLAVES. Please, I swear. Buy your kids a charming and wholesome game like Balan Wonderworld, and not this trash that promotes slavery and cannibalism to children.    … Expand

    its one of the best FTP games ive ever seen. it has a good story and good gameplay and beautiful world.
    its word is fuul of event and items even more than expensive games of ubisoft and bethesda.
    i give it 10 because of those above mentioned + its a free game

    Mini-Review: It's a pretty great game. I really wouldn't say it's a Breath of the Wild clone, since I've played Breath of the Wild. It's really nice to play a game with a similar landscape and graphics as Breath of the Wild. It's far from excellent, but it has room to improve, I don't really mind about the whole "gacha" thing.     Amazing RPG. It's just absolutely beautiful. The missions are fun, there are many things to explore, many characters to change and to level up... It's open exploration at its best. I'm really enjoying it.

    В голове неумещается как китайцы могли создать игру такого уровня, при чем бесплатно. Хорошая боевая система, прекрасные персонажи, живой открытый мир и потрясающая графика.     This game is just pure fun. I am really enjoying it. There is a lot to do and a lot to keep you entertained. The atmosphere and music is lovely too.

    This game looks very nice and has great combat that can be combo'd, to make for deep game play. It's the first time I've played a game like this for ps4 but at the free entry price to play it's absolutely worth trying for yourself.

    I was pleasantly surprised by this game!

    It's completely dissapointing game as it did resemble much like legend of Zelda breath of the wild but it only looks the part doesn't do anything it doesn't have horses ,bear , dear to ride , it doesn't have any weapon customization, no magnetic device , or any natural open world elements

    I'm having an awesome time with this game, and I can't believe it's free to play. So far the atmosphere, music, and exploration elements have me hooked. Combat is pretty fun and fast paced, but definitely not the focal point of the game. I wanted something to fill the void that BOTW left, and this is kind of doing it for me so far.

    As for monetization, well, it all depends on how you view mobile-style gacha games. I play them, as F2P, and some I enjoy. However, I think Genshin Impact will have the same problem getting my money as most--the value for the dollar is hard for me to consider good (though TBH I haven't yet felt compelled to look at the prices all that much). For example, in Fate/Grand Order, I recently pulled from the gacha (using free currency) to get a 5*, and if I had bought it, it would have cost me over $450. I don't expect a lot different here, but that's OK with me if the free option provides enough decent characters, even if not the best. Things like the resin system are also ubiquitous in gacha games, so nothing I find particularly different.

    BTW, one thing I might add is that I've tried it on mobile (a phone), and I can't say that I like the controls--using a virtual joystick is something that I'm not really good at, and I think you would have trouble pulling off combos as well. Perhaps if you attach a controller it would be better, but it's somewhat amusing that a game with such mobile-roots probably plays the worst there.    … Expand

    A very solid free-to-play anime action RPG. The story is enjoyable, the graphics are beautiful, and the exploration gameplay is engaging. It should be noted though that the endgame is a bit lacking in the current iteration of the game, which makes it less enjoyable as a service game.

    Such a great game, it's by no means perfect, but there is so much quality and thought placed here, it's impossible not to recommend it. Don't let the gatcha mechanics draw you away from it, yes it's not a perfect system, but if you want to stay free to play like me, you can actually do that. It's such a shame everything that this games accomplishes is ignored by the imperfections every game has.

    -Chinese Rootkit: the anticheat is straight up malware, and the Devs being based in china means everything the game collects on your computer will find it's way to the CCP. For the love of all that is good and holy, DO NOT install this game on any device that holds sensitive or personal information. I dusted off my PS4 for precisely that reason. It's also supposedly coming out on the Switch down the road.

    -You CANNOT delete your account on PS4: Feel cheated that the male MC turns out to be a femboy and want to switch to the much more classy female MC? Hope you're willing to create another PSN account.

    -Poor performance on PS4: The game lags and stutters pretty significantly. Attacks that hit many enemies at once will land you massive frame drops, and the game frequently eats your inputs. Given the success of this game, there's a chance this will be improved down the road.

    -Gacha: The game is designed and optimized for people willing to spend hundreds of dollars on a slot machine. It will seem like you don't need to spend money at first, but it flips a switch once you've played enough to become invested in the game. The game is still technically playable without paying money at that point, but it halts you from gaining exp or advancing any of the other RPG mechanics once you've depleted your allotted daily resources.

    -Terrible Voiceacting (English): it's just bad. Their voices feel like knives in my ears. Luckily you can skip dialogue, but there are some unskippable cutscenes.

    -The Tutorial: The first 30 minutes of this game are a complete slog, as the game bombards you with exposition and dialogue. It'll be ~20 minutes of terrible voiceacting before you can finally go off and explore, and even then there are a bunch of story set-pieces to watch before the training wheels actually come off.

    -Shameless BotW clone: This isn't necessarily a bad thing, but everything about this game is derivative. There is nothing original about the game, its mechanics, its story, or its music. If you can get past that....

    Now the positives:

    Simply put, Genshin Impact improves on BotW's formula in many ways. In just the first few hours of gameplay, the game already has more enemy variety than BotW, and enemy encounters are a lot more varied. Each character also has a different playstyle, some more unique than others. The game straignt-up gives you 4 characters for free, and if you're lucky enough to unlock more, the gameplay can get pretty varied. The soundtrack has more variation than BotW, making the game feel much less monotonous (literally). The game's quests feel much more carefully designed to lead you to different corners of the map, which has a ton of secrets and surprises just like BotW. There's also no weapon degradation, which has the downside of making chests less exciting, but the upside is that there's no drawback to engaging enemies in combat (if you're skilled enough). The story is more involved, and does a much better job of providing context and agency to the game. There is also a good amount of sidequests, none of which are particularly mind-blowing, but are more involved than your typical "kill 10 rats" trash quest.

    Overall, I think Genshin Impact is worth giving a shot. I plan to drop the game when the Gacha gets too bad, but I'm ~8 hours in and I've enjoyed my time in game so far (except the first 30 minutes).    … Expand

    Great game but I would have rather buy it and unlock characters during story & progression than have it locked behind a pay wall or insane grind.

    Genshin Impact is a well above average RPG to which we will dedicate many hours, but that gets lost in a monetization system typical of the gacha genre that sometimes demands too much from us. However, the free to play experience is wonderful offering us a beautiful and colorful world that can boast an absurdly good character design and a story capable of keeping us hooked.

    Genshin Impact is part of a wave of titles from China that is slowly eroding the bad stereotype that Chinese devs are devoid of creativity and skill. While the initial comparisons are there, Genshin Impact does go beyond to distinguish itself…now if only the gacha rates and the free primogem are better I would have no hesitation recommending the title.

    Genshin Impact might not be the most original game in a lot of respects, but it certainly has a wealth of things to offer players should they still be willing to give it a chance. Overall, I greatly enjoyed my time with it, and I plan to continue playing once future updates are implemented. The fact that it can be played for free is also quite impressive given just how much time you can invest in the game, especially with people perhaps staying at home more and being on a budget. All in all, Genshin Impact is a surprisingly solid action RPG adventure!
