    I hate this game. It was interesting at first but then gets very boring the more you play it. The characters are bland and forgettable. The gacha system is horrible and stupid, it uses an ingame currency called primogems to obtain characters and weapons, to get these primogems you either have to find chests and complete quests or take out the credit card.     One of the best games I have ever played.
    I love everything about the game from the outstanding and interesting story and events to the beautifully designed and varied world with an equally beautiful and super fitting soundtrack. I love exploring the world so incredibly much.

    El juego habría estado muy bien si no fuera por que es un saca dineros descarado, ni en su aniversario hicieron regalos potentes a su comunidad, esta todo enfocado a que gastes dinero y eso hace que acabes dejando el juego si no quieres arruinarte u ofuscarte.

    The game on ps4 is really awful. The performance is poor and it has a lot of problems. Also, it is full of bugs and limitations during the co-op mode. The story is written really badly, probably the dialogues were done by a software automatically, because they don't make any kind of sense. They probably did it to increase the hours of play.

    I criticized this game in 2021 but it was very short, this game is good, I know there are people who are being cruel and angry for being more of a game with microtransactions, but I don't care about the complaints, the game complied, I liked it, I stayed playing like 150 hours in total that I forgot to play the rest of the games, I personally consider the best.

    I'm not really into free to play/mobile games e.t.c, but when I heard that Genshin Impact is a role playing game inspired by Breath of the Wild, without pay to win microtransactions, it caught my attention.
    I haven't played Breath of the Wild, so, I can't compared them, but I can assure you that Genshin Impact is more than just a "clone".
    I can't share my thoughts for the story because    I'm not really into free to play/mobile games e.t.c, but when I heard that Genshin Impact is a role playing game inspired by Breath of the Wild, without pay to win microtransactions, it caught my attention.

    I can't share my thoughts for the story because it's not complete yet but it's quite intriguing so far.
    The gameplay is pretty good. It looks cool, it feels satisfying and it plays well.
    The world is arguably the best part of the game, it's fun and rewarding to explore this massive world filled with content and unique areas.
    It's quite impressive how this game has more content than most full-priced titles out there, even if the quest design is quite repetitious.
    Also, the art style is quite beautiful.
    Unfortunately though, there are some things that bothered me a bit.
    There's not enough enemy variety, grinding to level up the Adventure Rank in order to progress is tedious after a while, and I hope the developers will add mounts in the game someday because the traversal feels slow at times.
    The microtransactions were an after-thought for the most part, but more characters should've been for free.

    + Very fun exploration
    + Huge world filled with content
    + Great art style
    + Co-op

    Cons:
    - Not enough enemy variety and repetitive quest design
    - Grinding and monetization
    - Slow traversal

    it's not a good game and not a bad game, it's just average, or the term I call this game is just plain Mediocre. well, regarding the character designs I give points however it wouldn't make it the best game.

    also, people compare it to breath in the wild and say it's a ripoff. well, there are some similarities however this is more of an "Inspired" clone than a full-on rip-off since the game would be a rip-off if they stole original assets from breath in the wild then it will be considered one. yes, the graphics are similar however it's still not a ripoff but more an attempt to imitate the graphic style of Breath of the wild.

    also, according to people the game is bad cause it's a Predatory gacha game... but Gacha games aren't new, well I would understand if it's pay-to-win and PVP base (I'm looking at you Metal Slug Attack but nice sprites btw) well their are PVP elements but you don't get any rewards from it. people don't seem to understand the purpose of a gacha game and will result and say that you need that character to progress the game, this character has this skill, or this character is overpowered but no the real reason people play gacha games is that it's a WAIFU/HUSBANDO Simulator and are more invested on the characters or want to play that character however since gacha games are based on rateups and in order to get what you wanted then you need to be a big idiot and sell your soul in order to get a PNG character which you could just download it on a wiki somewhere or if you want to experience the story then why not just watch youtube videos.

    but people say the characters and weapons are overpowered from the start but nope you still need to play the game in order to make that weapon or character overpowered. you need to farm materials at certain locations and sometimes the materials are locked and need to be unlocked by progressing the story or can be obtained on a different day. and farming materials are a tedious process in every gacha game so the pay-to-win part is sort of false because you get that weapon or character but they are not overpowered yet so you need to play the actual game. also, i have a secret to tell on most gacha games you don't even need an SSR item or character to progress the story. sure it will make the game easier but since this game can be mostly played single player then you don't have to worry about multiplayer PVP events that will give you rewards because the game can have PVP elements but it's entirely useless because most of the Events are Player versus environment or PVE that gives rewards so nope you don't get any gems from yanking players unless your trying to be a jerk.

    also you don't need to buy gems because you'll get one for free and save up for a character but since gacha games are played for the characters then they will sell their soul for their beloved character but since you aren't interested on characters then you can avoid the gacha however competitive players wants to be powerful however they won't be rewarded in PVP because most of the rewards are only obtained from NPCs.

    The lesson here is that don't judge a game by it's cover, players, graphics, and even fanbase. hate those instead of the game. and yeah a couple of hours I uninstalled the game, not because it's bad, it's because it's just plain boring, and satisfied myself playing High on life after uninstalling it.
    however, despite the gacha i will tolerate it because it's free-to-play and I rate it a 5...

    but if this game is Pay to Play then it will be a different review. I will mercilessly rate it a 0 or negative -10000 and will call it a Piece of Turd that came from the Italian Novel: Salò, or the 120 Days of Sodom. but since it's free then I'll put it in the middle because it's meh. the game is playable but it's nothing special.    … Expand

    The base game seems pretty well made and the open world is very good. However, it's still a predatory gacha game that prays on your money and will often end up forcing you to spend way more than you'd spend on any AAA game just to progress, and the abundance of child characters in questionable clothing really drove me away as well

    Again with putting characters that are pretty much only good looking. The perfect game for weebs and creeps who can't bother to get a life.

    this version of the game is an absolute joke. thankfully the game runs perfect on ps5 but this version sucks with **** ass lag and stuttering. the game is notorious for the worst community going with people dumping on people and voice actors calling their fantasy weird even though they also are part of the people with weird ass bloody fantasies that does not matter at all

    Great game with a cool story. Pete can enjoy the story even as f2p and get a character here and there, there is a guaranteedcharacter after a certain amount of pulls, but it can be pricy. Hours of gameplay, many quests, and seasonal events. Beautiful music.

    They still haven't fixed Monas C1 after 2 years. The devs don't care about bugs unless they reduce their profit. Just shows how much the devs don't care about the game or the community.

    This is a great game with a LOT of content and guess what? It is totally free and you don't even need strong characters to play the story. The gacha system is only a plus for those who want to play with different characters.
    Again, this criticism comes from babies that probably wanted all the characters for free LMAO.
    You can beat this game with 4* CHARACTERS ONLY.

    Solid 8/10.

I've tried getting into this game (Mostly because of the hot waifus) but it pushed me away every single time. The combat is decent but isn't mindblowing and I found the story kind of boring and generic. The visuals and designs of the characters are great butThis game is not for me. It is essentially fantasy RPG with a unique loot rind combined with a diverse set of funny and unique characters complimented by some well hidden adult humor that will have you laughing out loud.
    The combat flow is fun and actually quite interesting. Basically you choose 4 main characters and switch between them and their skills depending on the enemy, each of their skills and equipment. Without getting to detailed each character has 2 skills multiple passives, a main weapon type and an element! the combination of all these with 3 other character means combat is very dynamic.
    Some final thoughts: Genshin Impact's MSQ and side quests are both easy to follow and interesting while the musical score is simply setting a new level for games and I garuntee you will be talking at least 1 screenshot an hour this game is so pretty . All in all a must play

    The game ran smoothly for me on PS4 pro

    Some of these early reviewers seem to think this game is P2W or P2P and it makes me doubt they made it very far into the game. In addition to being essentially a single player experience (and therefore impossible to be a P2W) the game provides you you with 4 main characters through the MSQ the devs throw "premium" currency at you, send free character pulls in the game mailbox, have characters rewarded for beating in game challenges, and always seem to have a give away event running. At no point did I feel like I couldn't do something because of their monetization scheme but do be careful because gatcha is still gambling and it is incredibly east to spend money without noticing how much you have spent. (This game is way more rewarding to play as a F2P )

    The game is really repetitive and kinda boring. The combat is really simple and easy. The one thing I like about the game is exploring the world, but it's way to many chests and collectibles to pick up. The gancha system is awful and really greedy.

    F2P, Played since launch, only spent around 30$ willingly. Game is pve and super ez, you can easily do every part of the game with only the 4 free 4 star they give you at the start.

    TLDR, f2p botw that got (and deserved too) a review bombing for a lack of communication with the comunity. It wont bite you if you try

And I've played a really good chunk of the game, as well as I've found myself going back to it every so often just to play a little more and make a little more progress.

    But the last time I played it was when it dawned upon me that I wasn't making any progress. And that was when the realisastion sunk in that I was sucked into the lie the game has floating on the surface, hiding what was the truth beneath. And the truth is, is that this game is a gambling nightmare. After I thought back on my time playing it from the start to where I am in the game now, it all made sense and I just noticed everything that was wrong.

    Thankfully, I have not spent a penny on this game. I was tempted a few times, and I mean really tempted. But I didn't because I couldn't justify wanting to spend my hard earned money on the game. But again, I wanted to so badly.

    First, let us talk about the good points of the game Genshin Impact.

    It's visually a very beautiful game. There's a reason why people have been calling it the cousin to Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and it's clear to see from the moment the game first loads up why. The art style is on the exact same level os BotW. Many mechanics match up as well, from being able to climb almost any surface, to the stamina bar to the ability to glide using wings that attach to your characters back. The combat is very much like BotW as well, but it has plenty of other differences that make it it's own. One of the more interesting parts of the game is that you can play as an array of different characters, which is only being added to over time as the developers are constantly making more and more to put into the game. Each one is unique and offering different combat abilities. The main character you play as, known as The Traveller, has the ability to switch elemental damage types, but the others are locked to whatever element they have from when you meet them.

    You can only have four of them at a time in your active party, but being able to change them in and out to best suit what you're currently doing in the game is a handy and fun part of it. But these really are the only good parts of Genshin Impact. How the game plays in some areas, the large and growing number of different characters and the pleasing visual style.

    The truth is there is more bad than good here. The game functions on the classic gambling mechanics we've seen in other games in the past that thrive on sucking the player in and getting them stuck. Be it the Fifa Ultimate Team or the NBA games with the atrocious inclusion of practically casino games in a video game that was rated okay for kids. It was what spawned the joke on YouTube that went "Really glad to see they've added a basket ball mini game in my casino simulator!" and as funny as that is, it's also sadly true.

    Genshin Impact, upon playing it for the first time, you'll be swarmed with these things called wishes. One of the games premium currencies. I believe there is three in total, two of them are slightly easier to get than the third, but the wishes are the main one. You've given so many wishes just from simply doing things like completing a really easy quest. You even get given a free character in the form of Noelle, the combat maid who uses a greatsword.

    But Noelle will be your first unlocked character. Others will join you over time as well, and you have so many wishes that at the very start of the game, you can choose to make multiple wishes at once which gives you a higher rater of unlocking the more rare weapons, items and characters. But these wishes soon go down. And I noticed that gradually, they started to be earned slower and slower, until it got to the point I was only able to earn so many wishes in a day. Yes, I know a game needs to make money somehow, and with Genshin Impact being a Free to Play game, I would understand them doing something to get some money.

    But sadly, this game pushes it way too hard onto the players. The only way you can play Genshin Impact and actually enjoy it, is either having all the free time in the world to play it, or having a lot of money spare to buy the wishes. And even if you do play it in your free time, most of what you will be doing will be the same thing. Every day as they're limited to once per day, it's the same challenges for the same wishes, and it quickly becomes a soul sucking grind. But many people will have to do it to unlock those characters they want. Until they give up and decide to pain the money for the wishes instead. The fact that you're also level locked from story progression, and having more characters help you get more experience is another strong arm the game does.

    This is Genshin Impact.

    It looks pretty and runs beautifully on the PS5.

    But it's not a good game. It's a gamblers nightmare.    … Expand

    I have never seen such a massive disappointment of a game that fails at everything get so popular, this is probably one of the most overhyped games ever. The developers were lucky enough to combine world exploration with gacha isekai story and they failed horribly at both.

    The gacha is mediocre at best, some of the lowest rates and highest pity I've seen in all gachas, on top of that you have 50% chance to miss the banner character, combined with every banner limited and standard banner being a literal waste / trashcan where you can drop your free pulls. It's literally a slot machine on a strict timer before it explodes and you won't be able to pull on a character you wanted for like 6 months or more. The materials you get for dupes and pulls can be spent on 2 useful things every month, nothing else is worth it.

    The only good thing is guaranteed banner 5* on second 5* pull, but I think that this makes the gacha lose it's spirit and basically slapping a price sign on every character. Unfortunately you will have to spend most of if not all 160 pulls to get to that guaranteed part, for a F2P player this is very damaging, it takes multiple months to save up for just for one 5* so you might end up pulling only one character you wanted every 5-6 months, this happened to me. And even if you are a low budget player you will still struggle greatly but you may cut the time by one month, I don't recommend buying anything other than the monthly card (!! be very careful with the monthly card, if you don't log in for a day the primogems for that day will be gone (basically you are paying to log in every day !!) ).

    The constellation system is a huge whale bait, basically requiring you to pull the same character multiple times to be useful or up to 5x more powerful. WEAPON BANNER oh god don't let me even get started on that, even if the cost of it was decreased by half it would be still horrible, It's insane that a 5* stat stick will require as many pulls as a full character. People saying that this game is not pay to win are either high on copium or didn't play the game enough.

    Ah yes the "world exporation isakai" bleuugh.. It's sad to see so many people get baited by this because it's one of the most popular things, the escapism, being reborn in a fantasy world. Too bad this is one of the weakest fantasy worlds you will ever see, the story is so bad that people care more about the cooking system.... World exploration is only good for the first time after that it becomes annoying and repetitive, just like 90% of the enemies. Even new zones are just copy paste of the old ones to the point that new zones don't even count as new.

    The endgame is non-existent, the powercreep is getting worse and worse, every 4* character is getting replaced by a 5*. The enemies are getting more and more annoying, jumping all over the place, teleporting and flying, while you have very limited movement and stamina, It's like they are forcing you to either use characters that do more damage or characters that are easier to use, eliminating even more skill that's needed to play this mess, like the auto-aim on everything wasn't enough.

    Not even gonna mention how the developer and the community behaves, you have probably seen it all anyways, I'm just wondering how people can completely ignore all this and continue to support this mess, even if you like the game a lot, the community and developer will make you hate it.    … Expand

    Играю я в Геншин в основном на ПК, но О БОЖЕ МОЙ, как же красиво она выглядит на ПС4. У меня не мощный ПК, если что, и я создал отдельный аккаунт на плоечке. Уже забросил, прокачавшись недалеко, но выглядит очень красиво. Минус бал за кривое управление. Ну вот зачем ломать то, что и так работает? Куда поставлены атаки? Что вообще происходит... This is because 5* characters and weapons are always better (with very few exceptions) on top of the the constellations are a huge pay wall behind which could be even half of character's kit locked behind and the only thing to access it is pay pay pay. 5* weapons are just stat sticks, constellations are only improving that, they add nothing new. It's unbelievable how greedy this company is, many players were able to see it soon, thank god, thanks to recent outrage many people are waking up to it, still 12 y.o. fanboys will be forever lost.

    Don't waste your time grinding this "game". The plot is absolute trash and moves at very slow pace. Genshin has no endgame and you will only grind the same things for years to come until they add another resource or upgrade material to chase for the next few months until you have enough.
    The "game" has only gotten worse since the launch, only doing the same thing over and over until mihoyo wakes up and remembers we still exist, they abandoned the community in favour of advertising and promoting their mess of a "game". Going as far as to beg artists, content creators and even cooks to promote them, even begging Elon to hype them up so that they could shaft even more unknowing people into their predatory monetization hellhole.
    You also may see a lot of players defend this "game" they have no idea what they are doing, hopefully they will see before they will lose too much money and time on this like me.

    This "game" is only a money making machine, just watch them throw it away when the hype around it dies down. They are already giving up on it, you can see it from recycled events, severe lack of content and them not listening to anything players say, going as far to delete and ignore people's feedback, It's everywhere, just look it up.

So what were we left with?     There's no content. The only good content they've released in the past 6 months besides Inazuma was a dungeon crawling sort of event, that was removed after two weeks even though everyone wanted it to be a permanent feature.

    Absolutely horrible. Easily the worst platformer i have ever played. There's no Mario, no Sonic, not even Seth Rogen. This game is just regret just like my life. You see, when my wife left I had nowhere to turn to. I was depending on this game to bring me at least a little joy but this failed to deliver. I am going to die tomorrow. Good riddance Genshin Impact.

    Not much to say, I like it and I'm not a weeb.

    I do see a lot of dungeon crawler-Zelda DNA involved and it is fun when I do play it.

    I will criticize that it has very mobile gaming marketplace to gamble characters/gear (Gacha) it is largely out of date design for western audiences, BUT still a very valid and popular form of monetization for Asia.

    Image Zelda BotW but with horrible controls, bad camera and boring combat but added gacha mechanics. Sounds bad and is bad. Your character will get stuck on terrain or start climbing mid combat because you happen to move next to something that is climbable. Bow caracters can have a litte jump back animation in combo and that can send you over cliffs.
    Attacks that hit you send you flying.
    And the camera has a habit of moving to the left in an attempt to show the combat but if there happens to be anything larger than you are screwed and the view is blocked. Except when its your own character because that will get transparent but nothing else.    … Expand

Итог: быстро наскучивает и становится не интересно, играешь только для того чтобы получить 2 персонажей (в моем случае так и было я хотел получить Райден и Розарию).Сюжет не интересный, побочные квесты не интересные, чтобы нормально играть нужно гриндить.     I liked the game but they make me feel like the game don't want me,
    It is turned into a phone game with a lot of waiting to respawn items or visiting Temples
    I have over 300 hrs and every and still not max my main character.
    but I like the online game that makes you progress as a solo player.

    explain my last point (GTA Online: if wanna play heist you need more players can't do it solo)

Everything is a grind, everything is designed to suck up as much money as possible, and the game does not respect your time. Things have gotten lazier and greedier, and while the game has immense promise, every system in it hampers your enjoyment for that extra dollar (or 1000).    Update:

    The resin system is a paywall that they don't make obvious until 100+ hours in. I was having a blast until the game basically told me to fms because I didn't have enough resin. But fear not.. you can BUY resin with real money! Ridiculous.

Pero mihojo es un ingrato con los jugadores, todo literal todo está limitado, nunca obtendrás el potencial máximo de tus personajes y ni hablar de los banners de personajes. Recomendación no lo juegues hasta que mihojo mejore sus políticas hacia el jugador. Mihojo podrás borrar las veces que quieras mi comentario.

    Genshin Impact is a well above average RPG to which we will dedicate many hours, but that gets lost in a monetization system typical of the gacha genre that sometimes demands too much from us. However, the free to play experience is wonderful offering us a beautiful and colorful world that can boast an absurdly good character design and a story capable of keeping us hooked.

    Genshin Impact is part of a wave of titles from China that is slowly eroding the bad stereotype that Chinese devs are devoid of creativity and skill. While the initial comparisons are there, Genshin Impact does go beyond to distinguish itself…now if only the gacha rates and the free primogem are better I would have no hesitation recommending the title.

    Genshin Impact might not be the most original game in a lot of respects, but it certainly has a wealth of things to offer players should they still be willing to give it a chance. Overall, I greatly enjoyed my time with it, and I plan to continue playing once future updates are implemented. The fact that it can be played for free is also quite impressive given just how much time you can invest in the game, especially with people perhaps staying at home more and being on a budget. All in all, Genshin Impact is a surprisingly solid action RPG adventure!
