    Garfield kart furious racing is hands down the most disappointing racing game ive played this year… And it’s a shame because its doing so much right.. it has characters with different stats, it has unlockable cosmetics that give you bonuses and boosts while racing.. however when it comes down to design and gameplay,    Garfield Kart Furious Racing

    Garfield kart furious racing is hands down the most disappointing racing game ive played this year…
    And it’s a shame because its doing so much right.. it has characters with different stats, it has unlockable cosmetics that give you bonuses and boosts while racing.. however when it comes down to design and gameplay, Garfield Kart Racing throws all it has going for it in the trash…
    This kart racer feels more like a ctr clone than a Mario kart clone, and much like CTR, Garfield kart feels near impossible to win a race on anything other than easy… and unlock crt its not because of a lack of skill… it comes down to feeling more luck based… you can do all of the sliding and boosting you want, winning here mostly comes down to your picks ups and your opponents pickups… one wipeout and youre guaranteed to fall far behind… and a wipeout of course can happen out of nowhere… you don’t feel as though you can recover with skill and speed…. Youre just hoping you get a speed boost pick up to make up time or a pie to throw at your opponents in front of you… don’t get me wrong.. pickups that actually mean life or death are what make kart racers so thrilling, but there should be a balanace on racing and pickups leading to the outcome of the race in a kart racer, not just one or the other.. this makes the racing feel bland, stale, unfun and unfair…
    Even if you can forgive the pickups systems, all 16 tracks here feel like lifeless lazy fan creations rather than well throughout, clever, or fun… they all have a different theme, but none of these themes come to life.. every track just has a new backdrop of what feels like the game thing…
    Garfield Kart Furious Racing is a lifeless drag with a measily 1 and a half hrs worth of content not even worth your consideration

    i own both garfield kart games on pc and they are obviously better than the clone that is mArIO kArT. garfield kart is a true masterpiece and its sequel garfield kart furious racing somehow managed to be better!

    graphics are so crisp and realistic i thought i was playing a game after i finished the race and returned to the real yet more boring world. after i showed my friend this    i own both garfield kart games on pc and they are obviously better than the clone that is mArIO kArT. garfield kart is a true masterpiece and its sequel garfield kart furious racing somehow managed to be better!

    graphics are so crisp and realistic i thought i was playing a game after i finished the race and returned to the real yet more boring world.

    after i showed my friend this game he came to my house every day to play garfield kart with me because its just so good... after he bought it we played every day for 12 hours straight and only took breaks for toilet and food.

    this is obviously the best game ever made i dont know why its not the game of the decade or ever.

    the price is too cheap for what it offers i am glad the devs are so humble...

    im hoping for a third game.

    the characters are made well and garfield looks so real i forgot its a game!
    whoever came up with this idea is clearly a genius.
    the original garfield kart has worse graphics but theyre still 100x better than games like gta v, the last of us 2 and death stranding.

    i love this game so much.

    i recommend it more than food because you consume food once but you can play garfield kart forever.
    If you don’t own the game you’re missing out on a great experience.
    Luckily for Garfield fans like myself, Garfield unlike most main characters in games with multiple characters isn’t weak but is perfectly balanced.

    There is a ton of different karts, characters and hats to choose from and you can make your character however you want them to be.

    Even if you aren’t familiar with racing/kart type games I would still recommend it because it’s just that good and easy to get into.

    I really hope for a Garfield Kart tournament because it would show who really is a pro at the game and who isn’t. I would consider myself a pro player on Garfield Kart because I have played a lot and I win every race.

    If you say anything bad about this you clearly aren’t a pro gamer and lose every race against bots and always play on easy difficulty with Jon.

    Show this game to all your friends and if they say Garfield sucks you should consider to stop being friends with these peasants.

    I like minecraft but I think Garfield Kart is better in almost every way.
    -graphics: way better and more realistic. You can almost see every hair in Garfield’s fur
    -sound: frick that creepy cave sound Garfield wins
    -gameplay and controls: Garfield kart has easy controller support while minecraft Java doesn’t. Bedrock does but Java is better.
    -mods: minecraft is better for mods
    -micro transactions: Garfield kart requires no payment and isn’t pay to win. Just skill and grinding. Minecraft on the other hand does have micro transactions (bedrock). Java doesn’t and still is superior to bedrock.

    I have nothing against minecraft I grew up with it I just k͟n͟o͟w͟ Garfield Kart is o͟b͟ ͟je͟c͟t͟i͟v͟e͟l͟ ͟y better.

    I recommend buying the steam version as it’s cheaper and only buying Garfield Kart: Furious Racing because it’s just like the original but with better graphics and controls.    … Expand

    This is the greatest game to come out in the last decade. If this doesn't win GOTY, then there is something seriously wrong with the award judges.

    This is literally the best game to ever exist. I have tons of hours in this game and even hold multiple top 10 speedrunning records in this game. If anything it needs to be made LESS fun. This game is absolutely godtier and there is nothing else to say about it.

    The AI is ridiculous, the gameplay is janky, the graphics are mostly grayish and the tracks are rather empty. It’s a game neither for Garfield fans nor for karting enthusiasts. [02/2020, p.66]

    Although it’s a step up compared to its predecessor, Garfield is still far from being able to compete against other kart games. Children who like the character might enjoy it, but that’s pretty much it.
