    A charming little game. Great characters, fun choices. Could be deeper tho, and a bit longer. Its worth several playthroughs for sure, to date different people and make other choices. But it left me wanting a bit more. It was fun trying a fmv game that is not horror.

    Didn't expect much from this game but it's surprisingly realistic and charming characters hooked me straight away. Would definitely recommend

The game starts with you filling out your interests and then you choose 3 out of 5 girls to go on dates with and as the hour and a half of each playhrough goes on, you will eliminate a girl after your webcam date, that is if she doesn’t elimante you first! All the way until you get to the end with one girl, or not… and its all kind of mediocre, this is a series of answer this question and see if the person youre talking to responds well to what you’ve said or not, but you really have no cues fo the most part on how they will respond, for example the topic of children came up in a would you rather game, and my answer of id rather wait 15 years over having a baby tomorrow shut this girl down completely and just made me feel a bit weird, but I guess that’s how real life works too, but theres no way to save yourself from fumbles, no rebutles, no input.. youre just left with the uncharismatic pushover vinny just accepting defeat, it’s a game less about finding a match you like as much as they like you, and more so trying to make sure they don’t not like you, but again you have no indication on what they wont like…
    SO I simply played as if it were me, I answered as me.. wich could be the intention of the game.. but at the same time if this were so, a game that’s only an hr and a half long and seems to be pushing for multiple playthroughs as it gives you the stats of everything you’ve seen and havnt seen at the end should be giving you a little more so you can push towards certain outcomes rather than make a mental note for the next playthrough thagt some girl flipped out about your favorite color being blue when shes never said how much she dislikes blue, so even as a completionist game five dates has its flaws.. and lets pretend this game only wants you to play once… the humor isn’t there.. the story telling isn’t there.. there is nothing here to make you feel like wow, what a memorabl experience…
    youre just talking to 3 girls for an hr and a half and listening to them tell you how their view on life is the best view, that’s it… that’s the game
    I give 5 dates a fitting

    Here's a perfect "10" for this game!
    The guys at WI deserve this for always coming up with new ideas. The branching, the story, and the interactions were all PERFECT.
    Kudos to all the actors; they are all fantastic and SO realistic, I kinda felt like they were real people talking to each other. Every facial reaction was right to the point, it was like I've been there so may times in my    Here's a perfect "10" for this game!
    The guys at WI deserve this for always coming up with new ideas. The branching, the story, and the interactions were all PERFECT.

    For a game made about the current world and made during the current times its very commendable how this small team pulled it off and it actually works on the basic human communicating and humor standard quite well. The main objective to meet "virtual dates" around the European area with your main guy and his best bud talking about his experience with.     An interesting representation of virtual dating these days in form of a video game.

    Quite basic story line without any surprises. The actors are doing a good job though and the interactions and dialogues are reliable.

    Overall, Five Dates was a joy to experience. It’s a solid rom-com with strong writing and characters that accurately captures the trials and tribulations of living and dating during the COVID-19 era.

    A unique FMV game that’s both poignant and entertaining, Five Dates is essential for fans of this genre regardless of a few flaws. Excellent acting, a smart replayable structure and culturally important subject matter make this an easy recommendation, even for those that don’t traditionally like games.

    Playing a game set during lockdown is definitely unique. Rather than focusing on some of the negative aspects of the pandemic, Wales Interactive has managed to spin this into a light-hearted rom-com. It’s a fun experience that manages to turn social distancing limitations into something positive and fun.
